I had an excellent experience there…
I had an excellent experience in their Dun Laoghaire branch yesterday. I had to upgrade my phone and their sales customer service staff member Amber was incredibly helpful to me. All three of the staff there were so nice, a very pleasant experience. I am very happy with my new phone. I would definitely recommend them ~ 5 Stars !!
Poor service
I missed a single payment by six days, and my €60 bill increased to €180. I always pay my bills monthly, and there had been no previous issues until the balance reached €180. Despite this, I was still a satisfied customer in terms of service.
When I contacted customer support to explain the situation, they were not helpful and were only focused on collecting the payment immediately, without any willingness to resolve the issue or offer flexibility.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend Three for mobile or internet services.

Absolutely terrible company been with them 2 years I’ve had a problem every day when I ring up I get nowhere when I try to pay my bill they full on won’t take it and then I get charged even more there’s been times where I was told I’ve got 3 different direct debits on my account but I only own 1 card?? My contract is also up and now they are trying to force me into another one two weeks ago I complained to them thought they were giving me a discount and were secretly setting me up for a completely new contract to start from scratch this is only the tip of the iceberg if u need broadband id recommend Vodafone as I bought it as three broadband wasn’t strong enough and the Vodafone is 10 times better

Paid a bill for two years charged way over what was quoted every month, now out of contract and trying to go pay as you go and three are refusing to unlock the phone I have fully paid for holding it hostage, pretty sure that is illegal
excellent customer service
Emma in the three store in Bray is exceptional. She is very kind and helpful. Emma is extremely knowledgeable and highly competent. I am delighted with the help she gave me yesterday. I cant praise her enough.
Shout out to Three, Pavillions, Swords, Co Dublin
Hi. I wrote a very critical review of the Three customer call centre when I was speaking twice to staff when I had difficulty using the presale ticket code. No help at all. However, on the flip side I would like to praise the excellent service by the staff in the Three shop in the Pavillions shopping centre, Swords, Co Dublin where I’ve been a customer for several years. A big shout out in particular to Craig. He always goes out of his way to explain everything clearly , he gives customers the time they need and is always pleasant and polite. Bravo to Craig and all at Three, Pavillions, Swords!
What a pleasure
What a pleasure it is to deal with a call centre that will answer your call without putting you on hold for an age. Assistant was very pleasant on the phone and dealt with my query within minutes. She also took the time to confirm what changes she completed to my plan before the call ended.
Three home broadband drops for hours…
Three home broadband drops for hours several times per week. Spent so much time with technicians attempting to fix but still a terrible service.
Stupid company
Our 3 contract has expired.
We have three phones with 3.
3 increased their monthly prices. Now we have zero phones with 3.
We have moved to Virgin and have saved over €200 per year with a fixed price for life, which will never increase.
Three Ireland is a very stupid company.
Terrible customer service.
My phone was black listed because it was lost. Phone found. Endless calls to get phone back online. Terible customer service . Phone still not back on . I have 3 phones on contract . I will take my business elsewhere

Broadband down now for five days on the phone to three several times told it was a fault at a tower now it seems to be a fault at our end. Waiting now for a engineer to ring with a time frame of 24hrs. Very poor service.

Absolutely terrible experience with Three
I pre-ordered a Samsung S26 Ultra and paid €1,389 upfront, expecting to receive it on or around release. Instead, I’ve been waiting nearly a month with no phone, multiple missed delivery dates, and zero clear communication.
I was initially given a confirmed delivery date which came and went with no update. Since then, I’ve had to chase support myself, and every time I’m told something different “it’s coming soon”, “it’s delayed”, “it’ll be restocked”, etc. There is no transparency at all about what’s actually happening with my order.
The most frustrating part is that pre-ordering seems to mean nothing. I’m now being told devices will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis once stock arrives, which completely defeats the purpose of pre-ordering in the first place.
A one-month bill credit was offered, which doesn’t come close to compensating for the inconvenience or the fact that the phone now costs significantly more elsewhere.
If you’re thinking of pre-ordering a phone with Three, don’t! You’re better off buying it elsewhere, because there’s no guarantee you’ll actually receive it, even after paying in full.
Really disappointing experience overall.
AVOID!!!
I’ve had one of the worst customer service experiences in Ireland with Three. I’ve been dealing with ongoing issues for nearly a year now, and they still haven’t been resolved.
We originally signed up for broadband, and my partner set up a pay-as-you-go phone plan. Somehow, things were switched over incorrectly without our consent, which caused a huge amount of confusion and stress.
I’ve had to contact them at least 15 times, and despite all that effort, nothing has been properly fixed. The level of professionalism has been extremely poor — to the point where I’ve had to involve solicitors just to try to get this sorted.
Even after my partner cancelled her pay-as-you-go plan, they continue to charge her card, and we’ve received no clear communication or resolution.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend Three based on the lack of support, accountability, and customer care we’ve received.

This is the second time i order…
This is the second time I’ve had the same issue with Three Ireland.
The product (Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Black 256GB) was clearly shown as “in stock”, and I placed my order before the 4pm cutoff for next-day delivery, as per their policy.
I received confirmation, but no dispatch email. My order status even showed “Completed” before reverting back to “Submitted”, which is very concerning.
After speaking with support, I was eventually told the item is actually out of stock — contradicting what is shown on their website.
There was no proactive communication (no email or call), and the information provided by support was inconsistent.
This is misleading and a poor customer experience, especially as it has now happened more than once.
I would advise others to be cautious when ordering items listed as “in stock”.
13 years later review
After thirteen years (13) with them I am moving. I had an issue with a bill and they were quite nasty and unprofessional almost like a vulture fund. Result. I paid the bill. Realised that they are no longer the best deal by far. In fact they're the worst and move to another company with my number. I learned they own "48" too so please avoid.
Three Business Customer very poor service
I have been a Three business customer since 2005. I have to say, customer service in the past 2 years has been appalling, and the help and support that was there is now nonexistent. I am really disappointed with how poorly the company has progressed in supporting business customers.
Switched from personal to business…
Switched from personal to business account. Absolute nightmare - seemingly being charged for both still despite being assured they would automatically shut down and now on the 4th attempt to address - they just pass you between team to team. Completely awful customer care.
