Timber Door Canopies by George Woods Avis 

The brackets are ok and delivery was reasonable time.. however for the cost of the brackets I would have thought they would have been jointed rather than just screwed together ?

Very fast delivery. Beautiful door canopy, good quality, solud and elegant. I love it so much I am going to a second one for my side door. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Can't rate this business highly enough. We had workmen in doing a new block paved driveway and as a result they had to take out our old front door porch support. We ordered the lovely Perrott Bracket as the replacement, and they were able to super helpfully deliver it within two working days so the workmen were able to install it for us on their last day on site. It looks lovely on the wall holding the porch up - we couldn't be happier with it!

Can highly recommend George Woods, who I found after researching for replacement Barge Boards. They (Abi ans Sally) were a pleasure to deal with and the boards were delivered to my exact specification and ready primed, at very fair prices!

Really well priced excellent piece of wood work perfect for the job.

If I have one quibble, it’s simply I didn’t know when it was arriving so missed it three times as there’s no notification. That’s a whole star right there.

However, if you need a well made gallows bracket then here’s your place. Would love to think that everything they do is this well made.

The whole process from placing order to delivery went very smoothly. My questions were quickly answered and the canopy arrived on time, and in good condition. Canopy was primed and undercoated so we were able to gloss the individual parts prior to it being assembled and fitted. Also bought fitting kit so everything was provided, but I am glad I had someone experienced to assemble and fit.

The canopy arrived very quickly to north Highlands of Scotland.
The wood is of good quality, finely sanded and substantial.
The design is simple but eye catching especially the finial.
Have not assembled yet but only 5 pieces and looks very easy to put together.
I highly recommend this company and would certainly buy again from them.
