Truly appalling service and quality

Truly appalling service. We bought my daughter a watch with a unicorn pattern on it. After just 3 weeks the pattern has worn off.

We specifically went with timex instead of a cheap Amazon watch so she'd have a better quality watch. When she got it she absolutely loved it! Unfortunately timex don't care that she's now spent 2 days crying over this and has barely slept. All because their quality is rubbish.

She got the watch as a reward for completing reading challenges. She spent ages choosing the one she wanted and even longer earning it.

Upon contacting timex they just gave me another email to contact rather than sorting it themselves. No sorry, no empathy, nothing. You are one company, do your job and sort it out!

Do not buy from them!

Poor customer service

Poor customer service, clueless and garbage.
Was advised with 25% off but no code worked and customer service not bothered.
Stay clear .

Terrible

Terrible. Ordered 3 watches, website shows my order. 2 of the watches are pre orders.

1 watch arrives.

The remaining 2 watches never arrive. Enquire with Timex. They can’t find any outstanding items on my order.

Check the parcel that was delivered and discover a price of paper inside with a handwritten note advising me that the rest of my order was cancelled.

No email. No information on their website, just a crude note.

Avoid buying from them.

Product ordered was out of stock after I paid for it on website

Took my time to make my choice received my welcome discount, paid and checked out. Only to find that my selection was out of stock!!! :(
Received notification from customer care that they are still using MANUAL STOCK CONTROL.
The last time I checked it is 2026 or have I been transferred to a different year?
Come on ! Must do better.

False Advertising, Shoddy Practices

If a shop has an item for sale with a sticker on it saying 25% off, then they have to give 25% off that item.
The watch I wanted was clearly advertised as having 25% off, but the discount code wouldn’t work. I contacted them and they refused to honour the discount or alter the web page.
Surely this constitutes false advertising?
I had a 15% off code for my first purchase, but the issue really wasn’t the extra 10% offered on the website, It’s was the principal. If something advertise with 25% off, it should have 25% off?

Timex Confirms DHL Lost my Watch. Timex Won't Confirm a Refund.

Ordered a watch that was shipped via DHL. DHL lost the parcel, which both DHL and Timex have confirmed in writing. Despite this, Timex has refused to issue a refund or offer a replacement and simply states the matter is “under investigation.” They will not give any timeframe for resolving this or any justification for delaying a refund when it is already accepted that the watch is lost and will not be delivered. There is no good reason for this approach; it wastes everyone’s time and unnecessarily damages what should be an important legacy watch brand. I have therefore been left with no choice but to raise a dispute with my card provider to recover the money.

I purchased a Timex watch for my son
When it arrived it had inadequate packing and the box had been Crushed by poor handling by the courier DHL. I emailed the customer support department and exchanged many emails which went round in circles going no where with a stupid AI bot in the USA. Finally I contacted their EU support email and another bot responded promising to escalate the issue to a real person. Alvin eventually responded with a computer says no response saying that they do not supply replacement boxes. I have now replied asking how I can escalate the issue to a formal complaint!

Non comprerò mai più da TIMEX

Buongiorno,
dopo essermi accertato dei tempi di consegna presso il servizio clienti, ordino il nuovo Timex Q Chronograph in versione Peanuts lunedì 1 dicembre, con lo sconto del 20% offerto ai nuovi clienti.
L'orologio sarebbe dovuto arrivare il giovedì 4 dicembre ma non viene consegnato per un ritardo non motivato.
Nel frattempo la Timex propone, per gli orologi Peanuts, uno sconto specifico del 30%.
Chiedo a questo punto se fosse possibile ottenere quel 10% di sconto di differenza a seguito del disagio creatomi. Il Team di Supporto, inizialmente in modo molto gentile, si scusava di quanto accaduto e mi informava che, nonostante non fosse una loro policy, avrebbe richiesto (Cit. "Because your case involves delivery issues and a refund request for a discount difference, I’ll transfer this ticket to a human agent who will handle your request with care").
Il pacco nel frattempo non mi veniva consegnato nemmeno il 5 Dicembre, impedendomi di ricevere l'orologio nei tempi per me necessari (era un regalo da consegnare al momento stabilito).
Non essendo a casa nella settimana successiva, ero costretto, a quel punto, a riprogrammare la spedizione per il 15 Dicembre (ovvero ben oltre la data in cui lo avrei dovuto regalare).
Nel frattempo è proseguito lo scambio di e-mail con l'agente che stava seguendo la mia pratica, il quale mi chiedeva le prove dello sconto del 30% riguardante l'orologio in questione - come se fosse completamente disconnesso dalla policy della sua azienda.
Tuttavia, essendo passati diversi giorni, lo sconto era ormai terminato e pertanto inviavo la prova richiesta solo mediante lo screenshot della email pubblicitaria ricevuta ed attestante uno sconto generico sugli articoli Peanuts, non sull'orologio specifico.
All'agente della Timex, come se lavorasse per un'altra azienda e non potesse accedere alle loro stesse policy, tuttavia, non bastava, continuando ad insistere sul ricevere la prova dello sconto sullo specifico orologio, ormai non più dimostrabile in quanto l'offerta, come detto, era scaduta.
Il 15 dicembre l'orologio nel frattempo mi veniva consegnato.
In conclusione:
1) ho ordinato un orologio pagandolo più del dovuto,
2) ho avuto il disagio di ben 2 mancate consegne in 2 giorni diversi che mi hanno impedito di fare il regalo previsto,
3) il servizio clienti Timex mi ha preso in giro per tutto il tempo.

Non comprerò mai più da TIMEX.

Good watches, bad brand

Purchased 2 watches from Timex website, both returned. One just wasn't right for me, the other was badly built. Refunded quickly, no issues. However, when I have left reviews these have either been deleted by Timex or the amount of stars given has been changed to reflect better on them. I've noticed poor reviews left by other people but have then had the stars increased by Timex. Shame as they make nice watches but I would not trust them.

Comprato orologio per regalarlo , uscito difettoso la gioielleria non ha voluto né sostituirlo né cambiarlo con altro prodotto pagando la differenza , ora devo aspettare 40 giorni per la riparazione , praticamente un regalo mai usato e già riparato ! MAI PIU

Purchased a Timex Ironman watch direct…

Purchased a Timex Ironman watch direct from the Timex website in the UK. Wore it for 2 weeks. Wore it in the bath a couple of times. Water ingress into the display. Watch now unusable. Tried to return but their process is a (deliberate) pain in the butt. So, decided to just throw the watch out with the trash and write of the £90.

Poor quality products and service

After many years of owning Timex watches I am now finished with them. Bought a new expedition watch the indigo failed after a month. Sent the watch back for repair. Watch returned unrepaired. So I had to send it back again. Then they told me it couldn't be repaired but I could choose a replacement up to the value of £90 from the watches in stock on the website. The whole website has 4 watches in stock under £90, none of which were anything like my original purchase. Timex have really lost their way, they used to be such a trusted brand.

Don’t trust Timex online. I feel scammed.

Awful dreadful customer care. I trusted the name as a UK site but in reality they are in the Philippines. Failed to deliver no explanation. They insisted I be at home to receive in person. They used DHL as courier. They advised a one hour time slot. No show. No explanation no apology no UK customer service desk, opaque method of contacting them. Need tracking number and order number. Eventually found a chat contact -Jade in the Philippines would not accept my cancelling the order on basis they failed to deliver. Do not trust this company, do not give them your money, use Amazon instead.

An overall poor experience with Timex.

An overall poor experience with Timex.
Bought a watch online and it was dispatched with Evri. After several follow up emails and calls to Evri and Timex I was told the watch was misplaced/lost.

A month later there is no watch and no refund, nor an outcome from their 'customer service ' . I had to raise a case with my payment method as I am not going anywhere with them.

Customer service no existent

I bought a Timex Expedition watch and after three months it has stopped working there is zero customer service and even ended up talking to a guy in America who was as much use as a chocolate fire guard will never buy a Timex again

They take a licking and keep on ticking

Okay first off I have to say i have not used Timex UK i'm an American i just want to say this is the only watch that I been able to keep for any length of time without braking yes I have broken a few But I always due to over abuse i can at least get years out of them and go through a battery or two or three sometimes they're the only watch I will buy Anymore I've learned the hard way with other brands

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. Broke after three months. They can’t fix it. No offer of refund yet and won’t give a replacement because it was on offer and they can’t match the price. Sorry I did not read the other reviews before buying. All AI responses. It is illegal in the UK/EU not to offer a refund if a replacement under proper circumstances cannot be offered. But very poor sales/consumer ethos . In fact I think it all a clever Scam not to refund or replace very cheap and poorly made watches. I’ll await a further two weeks and give them a chance to respond properly but then if no further response I’ll simply sue the UK Timex company through the on line legal service. It will make me feel better . Do not buy from Timex until they are as consumer centric as other multinationals.

Waiting for Refund...waiting...waiting

I bought a Timex watch in May 2024, it broke 9 months later, so still under warranty. Contacted customer services, which is only in the USA it seems. The watch was sent back and confirmed by Timex to be faulty, and that they couldn't offer a like for like replacement. They advised me to pick another watch from their shop but I didn't want another style. There was no mention of a refund which is contrary to Consumer Rights Act 2015 for faulty goods. I have since requested a refund 4 times, through email and phone. As other reviews say, cut and paste 'we're looking in to it' responses. Timex currently have my watch and nearly £150 of my money and I'm not sure I'm going to see that money again at this rate.
Update: Timex contacted me on day 10 of their refund window to confirm my details. I had put in a digit incorrectly of my sort-code - my bad. I sent the correct details by return. It is now 11 working days since then, another email sent with no reply and NO REFUND. I will have to request a chargeback from my bank at this rate. I do not understand how this company continues to trade when it treats its customers so badly.
