I made a purchase for 2 items. The only thing I received was a proof of payment on Paypal. Nothing from them, no confirmation email, contacted them on their email but didnt respond. Phone number on the website doesnt seem to be in use. This is either a Scam or I dont know.. DONT EVER BUY THERE!!

TOFFS was once a company renowned for producing high-quality retro football shirts and delivering excellent customer service. Sadly, that no longer appears to be the case.

My recent experience has been extremely disappointing. Communication is non-existent. The published telephone number is inactive, emails go unanswered, and even messages submitted through the online contact form receive no response.

When a company makes itself impossible to contact, it leaves customers feeling ignored and unsupported. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend TOFFS and would advise potential customers to think carefully before placing an order until they can demonstrate a significant improvement in both customer service and communication.

Void this company as it is a scam. Same ownership with uksoccer, scam companies that will not send you the products you have paid and no options for refund

Ordered a retro Thames Ironworks shirt light blue with claret hoops with a number 4. Shirt arrived rear of shirt the claret hoops are missing. Biju didn't have the decency to sort the problem. Emailed them loads of times Toffs haven't the decency to reply. Don't touch Toffs with a barge pole. I'm retired & lost just under £70 on a inferior shirt. Very bad customer service. Leave Toffs well alone.

Do not buy from this company. Ordered a Retro Football Shirt on 23rd June 2026 and it is now 14th July and still not received it.
Emailed them 3 times and completed the Contact Us page on their website - no answer to any of these. Also tried the phone number off the website and it says "Number Not Recognised".

Took money immediately. 3/5 day delivery? Er no chance. Wanted as a birthday present but badly let down. Ordered mid June, still nothing mid July. Now trying to get update or money back. Rubbish customer service. Never again!
Imitated bank reclaim action. Then shirt arrives same day despite NO response to four requests. I’d even found an alternative replacement gift at extra cost. Anyway shirt is fine but what a stressful ordeal!!

Ordered a 1958 manchester United football shirt, after receiving my confirmation email, I heard absolutely nothing. I emailed them querying dispatch and delivery, I heard nothing. Then I check trustpilot, I immediately emailed them and requested a cancellation, again, I heard nothing. I put a dispute in with my bank, they gave me a temporary refund a few weeks ago, today I've just had confirmation they have resolved it in my favour. Please do not purchase from this brand, I'm not sure if they've been sold, but they are definitely not legitimate anymore.

Ordered an Italy 1982 World Cup shirt, with no. 20 on reverse. Shirt arrived after a few weeks without the numbering as requested (which I paid for). No replies to emails, dreadful customer service and would advise on avoiding whoever is trading now on a once respected brand.

I was searching for a vintage football (soccer) jersey and found Toffs to have an amazing selection and actually carried the 1977 Jersey I was looking for.

I ordered 2 shirts May 27 2026. Only after the order was placed, I stumbled onto this site. After reading the reviews here I immediately became worried. Was I going to receive my order and what will the quality be?

The order shipped June 16. Not bad considering both jerseys has custom names and numbers to be added.

The order was shipped through PostNL From the UK to me in Canada.

I received my order June 25 2026. Standard time as I order many things from Europe.

Now on to the quality.

I was actually blown away. Both shirts arrived in their own Toffs bag in perfect condition , and ill say they were much better than expected.

The embroidered club logo is very tight and detailed, with each colour sitting just right, no loose threads. The cotton of the shirt is thick and heavy and of a high quality (much like a RL polo shirt)

The arm and neck band is a thick material double folded and is fitted nicely with quality double stitching attaching it to the shirt.

There is a Toffs logo sewn into the rear neck area which adds to the quality fit and finish. Even the size designation (L) is on a small piece of material that is sewn in.

The applied number and name on the back is of a thick quality (Acrylic? silk screen?) The name and number are centered and both have crisp lines.

I felt I needed to write this review as there were so many negative reviews that did not match my experience.

I would order again after receiving my products from TOFFS.

I ordered it weeks ago as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, but it hasn't even been processed yet, and now the gift is ruined. I also just read that TOFFS went out of business. If so, take down the website, because there is no indication of that.

Terrible company! Ordered a football top which said delivery on 2-3 days. It never arrived so emailed several times and no reply, number listed is not active. Tried the email address and telephone number attached to their PayPal details but still no response. Started a claim with PayPal and this then made them dispatch item. Item arrived after a month, terrible quality and no details on how to return.

Ordered a football top as a birthday present. Despite being quoted 1 to 2 Working day delivery, the item took 20 days to arrive, missing the birthday in question. An email to customer service enquiring about the delay went unanswered, When the item was eventually received it did not have the correct badge as shown on the website (was meant to be a World Cup Spain 1982 embroidered badge, but came with just a standard badge), rendering the purchase pointless. Oher than having the wrong badge, the item itself is of average quality, nowhere near worth the money paid for it. I'd return the product if I could be bothered, but I suspect it'll be more trouble than its worth with this shower of chancers, so I'm just going to have to cut my losses and run.

Avoid this company.

Top quality old fashioned customer service to go with the top quality old fashioned football shirts.

Do not order anything from toffs, used to be good quality now you will get a cheap fruit of the loom shirt from uksoccershop

Don't think I was actually dealing with the "Toffs" of old. Took a few weeks to complete my order. All items delivered well wrapped and packed ( in Toffs bags) through DPD. All items as ordered. Top quality personalized football shirts. Only 24 hours from company updating me (E-mail) order was on it's way to actual delivery. Got my items as ordered.

Ordered from Toffs as I have had positive experiences in the past, but it appears as though it has been taken over by a new company. For starters, it appears to be the same company as UKsoccershop, which also has awful reviews, only the items are more expensive on Toffs. Not that it matters, of course, as you might never receive your item from Toffs. Despite boasting of 1-2 day delivery, it has currently been two weeks and nothing has been shipped. When I complained, I was brushed off with an inadequate excuse of varying dispatch times based on specific items. Save your money, avoid like the plague.

Scam !
I had ordered great products from them in the past but they clearly are having big issues and have resorted to scamming people.
I ordered two shirts in November and still have not received my order, they are now claiming the order was “lost”. I have not been refunded.
I have sent a total of 10 emails and before receiving a reply.
Avoid at all cost.

THE OLD FASHIONED FOOTBALL SHIRT CO LIMITED has been in liquidation since 2025.
Their address is now in Essex, the 0191 telephone number does not work, try it.
I don't know who is running this website now but it is not what it was in pre 2024.
Please avoid, they are saying they are based in Glasgow on one page on their website whilst retaining their old Newcastle address elsewhere on their site.
You have been warned.
I used to buy loads from them but don't trust this zombie resurrection.

Dont buy from this company, its Toffs and uksoccor I have ordered two of the same tops from these companies, I have not received any and not received my money back, I even paid for next day delivery and they said two to four week waiting...absolutely shocking

Order placed for a personalised football shirt as a Christmas gift that was never received. Follow up enquires were dismissed claiming standard timelines for completion of the order which were not consistent with those advertised on the website. Order was not fulfilled 3 months after being placed, the company did complete a refund, only after this was requested.
