I could not have asked for a better driving instructor than Amy Wigglesworth! From start to finish she has been extremely supportive and helpful. By far her best trait is that she makes you instantly comfortable which makes learning to drive so much easier. She identified pretty early on that I was process driven person and tailored her instruction to match that. She genuinely cared about my progress and how I was feeling and ensured that I was encouraged to become more and more independent. She always showed up on time for lessons and with a plan for each day based on what we discussed the previous lesson. Her ability to calm students down after they make a mistake is one of her major strengths. She is also very good at giving feedback, even constructive feedback in a way which does not feel like you are being told off. I would highly recommend Amy as in instructor for all ages and levels of learners. Thank you again for helping me pass and helping me work though my nerves.

I would highly recommend Adam to anyone, from the beginning he was so patient, reassuring and kind. Adam Is fantastic at answering any questions regarding driving skills. You can have a real laugh with him but will also be serious when needed.
When it came to my test day Adam helped me get prepared and settle my nerves which helped me so much when going into my test, making it less daunting.
It was an amazing experience learning with Adam and again, would highly recommend.

Darren Venn is an excellent driving instructor who is organised, patient and efficient. His lessons are well structured, and he makes sure any faults are corrected as soon as they happen, helping you improve quickly and avoid developing bad habits. He plans lessons around the areas you need to work on and takes the time to ensure you fully understand what needs improving.

What I particularly appreciated was that his focus was always on making sure I was a confident and safe driver, rather than simply getting me through my test. He genuinely cares about his learners’ progress and puts in the time to make sure they are properly prepared. He was also very understanding of my nerves before my test and helped me feel calmer and more confident on the day. This made a real difference and ultimately helped me pass my driving test. I would definitely recommend Darren to anyone looking for a professional, supportive and dedicated driving instructor.

**Title: Serious Concerns About Contract Transparency and Exit Costs**

My experience with L Drive Driving School has been extremely disappointing and distressing. I would strongly advise trainee driving instructors and PDIs to read every contractual clause carefully before committing themselves.

I was initially sent Version V10 of the Driving School Agreement by email. When I telephoned reception to clarify its legal status, I was told, according to my recollection, that it was a valid digital contract and did not need to be signed. I was subsequently asked to sign Version V11 for the same trainee-instructor and franchise arrangement.

My concern is that I was not clearly informed that V11 contained significant changes to the contractual terms, including the removal of the earlier pupil-lead review and potential release mechanism, and an increase in the stated termination figure from £1,500 to £2,000. I acknowledge that I signed V11, but I dispute the circumstances in which these material changes were presented and explained to me.

I have already paid approximately **£3,207** in training and franchise-related costs. I am now facing a further **£2,000 proposal for mutual early termination**, which I have disputed. L Drive maintains that V11 governs the relationship, while I believe the differences between the two versions and the way they were introduced deserve proper scrutiny.

The way this dispute has been handled has caused me considerable stress and significantly affected my mental wellbeing. The prospect of debt recovery and legal proceedings has made an already difficult situation even more distressing.

What concerns me most is the lack of an outcome that I consider fair and proportionate, despite my attempts to resolve the dispute commercially.

**My advice to any prospective PDI or trainee driving instructor is to be extremely careful before signing.** Obtain every version of the agreement in writing, compare the terms, ask for explicit explanations of any changes, and make sure you understand the minimum commitment, weekly franchise fees, pupil-lead arrangements and full cost of termination.

Do not rely solely on verbal assurances. Keep copies of every email, agreement and payment record.

This dispute remains unresolved, and I am sharing my personal experience so that others can make an informed decision before entering into a similar arrangement. I hope L Drive will take these concerns seriously and consider a fair resolution.

I had an amazing experience with Hamid, he was very calm and encouraging which made my confidence improve so much and I ended up passing 1st time with 1 minor only! I’d recommend learning to drive with Hamid to anyone in Leeds!

I failed my first driving test back in July with a different instructor and felt really disheartened, losing a lot of confidence in myself. After hearing about Drive and being recommended Naqi, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I made!

Naqi is a wonderful person and an amazing instructor. He is incredibly patient, calm and encouraging, and he made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. I’ve learnt so much from him, and what I appreciated most was how he never made me feel bad about making mistakes. Instead, he always encouraged me, explained things clearly and helped me believe in myself again.

I rebooked my test for October, and I’m so happy to say I passed on my second attempt! I’m truly grateful for Naqi’s support, guidance and patience throughout my journey. He didn’t just teach me how to drive; he helped me rebuild my confidence and reminded me that one setback doesn’t define you.

I would 100% recommend Naqi and Drive to anyone looking for a supportive, professional and genuinely amazing driving instructor. Thank you for everything, Naqi!
