DRIVE Driving School Avis 

I had Chris ring me this morning very polite guy explained everything I needed to know and got my first lesson booked very quickly.

My husband and I both used Drive Drive for our driving lessons, and we are very happy with our experience. We both passed our driving tests on our first attempt! 🎉🚗

Our instructor Shazadeh was calm, patient and very good at explaining everything clearly. He made us feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel, and his teaching really helped us prepare for the test.

Thank you so much to Drive Drive and our instructor for all the support and guidance. We would definitely recommend Drive Drive to anyone learning to drive! 👏🏽

Wasting money. I paid £1,400 in full for this course, which included support and training for ADI Parts 1, 2 and 3. I chose the course because I was given the impression that it offered strong support and a guaranteed pass.

Unfortunately, after I failed the Part 1 theory test, I did not receive the level of support I expected. I was also unable to complete the required process within the specified timeframe. Despite having already paid for Parts 2 and 3, I was not offered the refund or support I expected.

My main concern is that I paid a substantial amount upfront based on the promises made when I purchased the course. However, when I experienced difficulties with Part 1, I felt that I was left without adequate support.

I am very disappointed with the experience and believe that the meaning and conditions of the “guaranteed pass” should have been explained much more clearly before I paid £1,400.

I strongly advise anyone considering this course to read the terms and conditions carefully and ask in writing what happens to their money and support if they fail Part 1 or cannot complete the ADI tests within the required timeframe.

I was an experienced learner when I joined DRIVE, I wanted to polish my driving skills to pass my test on my first go. And Dean, my instructor adjusted his teaching to my needs and got me to pass my driving test first go without any driver faults. I was really thankful that he was so easygoing cause I was nervous to learn from another instructor, but my concerns were resolved right from the get go.

I started my journey to become an ADI July 2024. Part 1& Part 2 relatively straight forward! Part 3 was alot trickier. The training I received could have been more thorough with better explanations and explanations of the marking system of the 17 cometencies and how they linked and not a check box excercise! With this in mind I invested more money with other ADI instructors that were grade A’s rather than being trained by a grade B instructor with not a vast amount of experience to pass on to me! When also asking Drive whether I could sit in on a lesson to ensure I was coaching correctly I was told no as I would be imitating another ADI! In the least I found this rude! On a whole I’d recommend anyone looking to become an ADI to do their research before investing and signing a contract with a huge commitment and NO guarantee you will PASS!

The booking process is very easy and the individual I was speaking with, Jack, made sure I was able to get booked in asap and was quick to answer my questions!

The communication from the recruitment team was excellent, and they were patient in answering all my additional personalised questions, so I could make an informed choice, which put my mind at ease. As I begin my training, I am enjoying every step of it.

Once I spoke to the lovely lady in recruitment who answered all my questions and more (she actually appeared in the very first video I watched) My mind was made up and I am delighted to start my new career journey with Drive.
They also offer a fantastic training package would highly recommend.

Friendly staff at Drive gave great support throughout my journey to pass ADI part 1, ADI part 2 and finally ADI part 3.

The webinars were run by great trainers, and although using Zoom never seemed impersonal.

Special mention must go to Andrew Love Na Nataliya Baker for their patience and perseverance in helping me pass the Part 3 test.

Jack and Cain were very informative about the process in starting my driving lessons, looking forward to my first lesson with Louise in the coming weeks, thanks for all your help!

I had driving lessons with Lucas-Dean Shaul in Gloucester and Cheltenham and I highly recommend him. Lucus is very professional and very supportive. His calm and encouraging approach really helped me build my confidence.
He is also very reliable and respectful of his pupils’ time, always punctual and never rescheduled or cancelled a lesson which I really appreciated.
I passed my driving test on my first attempt at a test centre in an unfamiliar area, and his preparation and guidance helped me feel well prepared and confident. I would highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

⭐ 0/10 – Very Disappointing Experience

I contacted Drive and asked them to stop my payments because of my health condition. I explained my situation clearly and even offered to provide all the medical evidence necessary to prove my circumstances, but they still refused to help me.

I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated. In my experience, their customer service showed very little understanding or flexibility when I genuinely needed support.

I also did not find their educational website particularly helpful. There are free theory-test apps available that I personally found more useful for preparing for the theory test.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Drive. Before signing up, I strongly advise people to carefully read the cancellation terms and understand exactly what financial commitment they are entering into.

Lucas was an exceptional driving instructor. I’d previously failed my driving test with other instructors and feel that had Lucas taught me originally I would’ve passed first time. He never clock watched and was always focused on ensuring I completely understood the lesson. I’d highly recommend Lucas and thank him greatly for helping me to pass my test!
