The EasyJet flight was ok.
The EasyJet flight was ok.
The coach driver was excellent. The coach was always clean and the air conditioning was activated before we got on so it was always comfortable.
The sites we saw in Sicily were world class.
The hotels could be better. The first hotel , Caesar’s Palace had plastic table clothes and our tour group was seated on cramped tables in the corner of an enormous dining room. The second hotel was much better but we had water coming through our ceiling on morning from the room upstairs.
The guide was experienced and professional.

The holiday exceeded expectations
The holiday exceeded expectations- i thought it would be mainly about the trains- but everyday we went somewhere different and interesting.
The hotel was a little basic but I think used by many agencies. But you do get dinner with (cheap) wine everyday

Good organisation and places visited
Good organisation and places visited. Travelling on my own, it is difficult when there is no included dinner on the first night when I don't know anyone. Poor room in second hotel. I have never before had a bed with no covers.

We have just returned from the…
We have just returned from the Spectacular Rockies Canada tour and I have absolutely nothing negative to say at all
From booking, right through to landing home again, the trip has been superb
Our Tour Director; Debbie is amazing and a credit to the company, she and driver Greg really went out of their way to ensure that we had the best time possible.
Every stop was magnificent. The choice of hotels were great - far nicer than expected, with suites in almost all of the hotels, and all situated within walking distance of everything needed
The included lunch in a local restaurant was excellent, the three breakfasts were hearty and varied.
The excursions were all excellent. Especially enjoyed the Whale Watching (we saw Whales!) and the walk on the Glacier
Perfect tour, loved every moment of it

Shock to the system getting up so early but it did me good.

Our driver was so great trying to find the animals we wanted to see, she was definitely dedicated to us & the animals. Also she enjoyed her driving & had fun with us all.

Our Andalusian Tour.
We had a fantastic tour manager in Simona. She was highly experienced, knowledgeable, well organised and engaging. The places we visited in Andalusia were all individually stunning and the guides knowledgeable with interesting historical facts which made, for example, visiting the beautiful Mezquita in Cordoba, the cathedral in Seville, and Alhambra in Granada particularly interesting. We were lucky to visit the charming and dramatic scenery of Ronda on the day of a festival. The horses & carriages were all decorated, with the Spanish ladies and gentlemen accompanying them resplendent in traditional dress. The hotel was situated in the outskirts of the ancient town of Antequera approx 15 mins walking distance in the heat. Look out for 'the Sleeping Indian ' in the distance when you leave the hotel by tour bus on route to your day's destination. Our hotel room was spacious but decor dated. Fortunately, the air conditioning worked. View from the window not particularly attractive but quieter than overlooking the pool. Food quite tasty and varied. Simona arranged for us to have a kettle in our rooms. No tea, coffee, milk nor bottled water provided so buy them at the local supermarket. If you want to order a taxi you need to do it yourself. The taxi company number is displayed on the reception desk.

Our first time using this company for…
Our first time using this company for an escorted tour of Sicily. Everything was well organized and went according to plan. The local guides used on our day trips were very knowledgeable. We were in a group of 29 people all of whom were very friendly. The tour director was also very calm and dealt with any minor problems with professionalism.
We would definitely book a tour with the company again.

Wonderful time…
Wonderful time meeting likeminded people. Trips were well led with a great guide but a little too much ‘free’ time.
Hotel was comfy and clean however the food was bland and poorly presented.

Spectacular Amalfi Coast
I and a friend have just returned from the spectacular Amalfi Coast. Our flight was delayed and we were greeted at the airport by a friendly Travelsphere representative and immediately chauffeured to our lovely hotel in style in a Mecedes car.
We stayed in Minori the perfect base for sightseeing trips and for swimming at the beach. It was just ten minutes from the hotel. Elifi our knowledgeable and vibrant guide escorted us on our boat and bus trips to Pompeii, Amalfi ,Capri and Ravello. She was very personable and provided us with such wonderful and memorable experiences of our visit here.
We also met such lovely people in our group who enhanced our enjoyment of our time here. Highly recommended.

Underwhelmed by this company!
Many folks have spoke to the tour director and he says

Cause for Concern
Not a great start, late taking off, after a 4am get up, a chocolate bar for breakfast and you had to pay for a cup of tea! I think they thought the plane was full of 5 year olds.
If we had paid a cheap price to a holiday company or airline, but, not this.
Arriving in Verona we were told we had to wait for another 30 to 40 minutes for another flight which had not landed to join us, go and have coffee and breakfast.
Then, the coach broke down with faulty brakes.
As soon as we ordered, our guide said come now we are going, we waited another 15 minutes some left their food others had not ordered, confusion and disorganisation, there must be a better way. Is this the first time in Italy for Travelsphere, we are now in a depressing old and tired room with the window facing an even older brick wall.
By this time we had not eaten for 18 hours!
We woke up in the middle of the night room was 26c 75% humidity no air con spent ages trying to get it to work only to find hotel had turned it all off and staff needed the managers permission to turn on again!
Even Budget Hotels have AC.
This is not the Duty of Care and Best Practice of an experienced travel company.
Now the driver parked between a road sign and bollard and got stuck for 30 minutes, it took several members of the public and drivers in both directions to completely stop the traffic in order for him to make mutiple manovers to get back onto the road!
In 30 years of international travel i have not experienced anything like it!
Ive just sat on the bed and a hard protruding something has stuck into me from under the base fitted sheet, on stripping the bed, it was a piece of plastic someone had left behind!
27 euros if you want use their own swimming pool as a guest of the hotel!
We are now going for a walk to see if we can get a better hotel, nothing can be worse.
