We had a trader we could trust and will again.
Generally does what it says on the tin. Specify the kind of work and the job itself and immediately have a list of potential contractors (crucially actually local rather than big networks that pretend to be local!).
Responses by text, whatsapp and email come in fairly quickly which we needed as it was an urgent plumbing issue and we'd had to turn the water off. The only reason I have not put five stars is you're never quite sure about who you pick until they've arrived and done the job properly.
When our man called he immediately sounded professional - and had good reviews - and a very prompt, good quality and much appreciated job was done. Thank you.

I had to have a new clutch fitted on my car and after phoning round many garages that had been recommend for a quote (only a few bothered to call me back) I went with Aiden Motors, 1087 London Rd, Leigh on Sea Essex. They were very reasonably priced compared to the other quotes I received and after taking it in Thursday afternoon, it was ready for me to collect the next afternoon. Brilliant service, very friendly staff and a good price. Would definitely recommend.

Overall the plumber worked well on the leak in the bathroom and got the job done.
Communications could have been better.
Unfortunately he had to return a few days later as the shower was still leaking. But he fixed that in no time and the shower is working well now.

I joined TrustATrader in February 2026…
I joined TrustATrader in February 2026 and I was expecting a steady flow of leads to follow. But, four months later not ONE enquiry or even a sniff of one.
This is pathetic quite frankly after spending a fortune to join them. At Checkatrade it was cheaper and paid monthly, also they provided good leads. I've emailed my so-called account manager but no replies are forthcoming!
