Iv just bought my tracker

Iv just bought my tracker, I spent 3hrs yesterday trying to set up the app its useless it had me send 3 different email addresses because it would not recognise any then logged out yet again passwords wrong all the time 10hr lock out till I can try again twice since I got it, so I cannot log in on the app at all iv emailed but had no response other than send it back iv no idea how I can set it up.

What a load of rubbish so many times I have spoken to customer services so far from day one to start no signal then after emailing no phone number!!! all reset as there say lol yep find my cats location 6 miles away as he is sat to me wearing his tracker on the sofa what a joke time to cancel this unless tracker and sim please don’t get one it really does not work at all email again then get told sorry had it to long now just over 6 weeks people please try a different company because this one does not work !!!!!!!!

No response,doesn't work and awful customer service.

Ordered on Feb 9th. Told 48 hr delivery. Didn't arrive, emailed asking how long it would take. NO REPLY! It then arrives 5 days later. However during this time I emailed on the 13th Feb again saying I'd liked to cancel and return. NO REPLY. I then did a chargeback on my bank who refunded me.
I still have the tracker unopened at my house. As of today 20th Feb still no contact from them, will be interesting to see if they try to debit my bank for the subscription charge.
Customer service is an absolute joke.

TO EDIT: as of 24/2/26 still no contact. We actually tried turning the tracker on to see how it works and the GPS says the tracker is 2 miles away from where it actually is! Constant refreshing the tracker and it doesn't update a location. Still says 2 miles away. Which is a worry as it's for a child walking to school alone so will cause worry. Useless.

TO EDIT AGAIN: 28th Feb, still no contact from company. Tracker going in the electrical recycling.

Hi Laura, Im sorry to read this. As advised yesterday, your subscription was previously cancelled as requested which means your tracker was not connected to the network. Upon purchasing a new subscription it takes a short time for it to reconnect. When you got in touch we advised you of this and were reconnecting the tracker for you as you hadn't used it for several months.

Ubeequee Ranger tracker very poor

Ranger dog tracker not reporting correctly. Outside with good GPS coverage it fails to get a correct fix and often reverts to useless WiFi or Mobile Phone mast triangulation. Often these fallback positions are well over 10miles out. The occasional accurate GPS positional fix showing the trackers position for some unexplained reason gives the date as 12-06-2006. Its a favourite date it uses often but with a "summer time" shift in the time of plus 1hr. Yes I did check my settings in the app and its GMT:0:00 and Summertime OFF.

I HAVE reported ALL this to support but their reply was check Timezone even though in my report to them I specifically said it was correctly set and included screenshots (2).

This is my second Ranger tracker since 2020 and upto summer 2025 I was happy with the performance. However its now unusable and support is no use in fixing it.

It was a small and neat tracker with the useful feature of a loud audio beep to help locate if needed, but I have now switched to a Tractive DOG 6 tracker.

I have had great service from Ubeequee…

I have had great service from Ubeequee from start to finish.
I bought a GPS tracker for my cat last year and I used it every day to check her whereabouts outside after she had gone missing for 6 months but miraculously was found and returned to me. This is a great product. Easy to use, affordable subscription.
Sadly my cat got very ill suddenly with cancer and had to be put to sleep a few weeks ago. I had forgotten to cancel my subscription until I saw a payment come out of my bank account yesterday.
I contacted Ubeequee help desk today explaining my situation and attaching a copy of my vets bill as proof to ask for a refund.
The help desk replied immediately cancelling my subscription and confirming a refund of payment recently taken. I cannot say enough good things about Ubeequee, hence the 5 star review.

Awful in every way

Awful in every way! Paid for subscription but was never able to ring the watch and my daughter was never able to call. Video calling sometimes worked, but wasn’t at all reliable. Some unknown number was able to ring the watch though, which is very scary! - UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO RESPONSE! unknown numbers where blocked and sure I couldn’t even call the watch and my daughter couldn’t call me, so I’m baffled how a stranger did!

Hello, I am sorry that you have not been satisfied with this product. You can allow or deny unknown callers for the tracker in the APP. If you turn the feature off, it will allow unknown numbers to call you. Your subscription has been cancelled at your request and therefore the tracker is unable to connect to the network.

I wouldn’t even give it one star. Absolute rubbish may as well chuck your money down toilet instead. Doesn’t track at all. We do however have one tracktive device which is brilliant, only bought UBEEQUEE as was cheaper, should have know better. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

Take money when cancelled

Tracker was slow when I got it 3 years ago so stopped using. I cancelled it over a year ago. Now they've taken out a direct debit and refusing to refund. Disgusting!

Hi Kat, We are sorry that you didnt realise our service would renew. A subscription by definition will renew at the end of the term unless cancelled and you did not get in touch prior to the renewal being processed. We emailed you to advise of the upcoming payment and gave the option of cancelling at that time, but you did not do so and therefore the renewal was processed. Your renewal date was also on your order confirmation email and in your account to view at any time.

I have emailed the company 3 times with regards to returning my item for a refund and have had no reply. Would avoid this company

We will always refund any genuine order where it falls within our advertised policy. Our returns policy is clearly advertised on our website and is available for everyone to see both before, and after, any purchase and this includes details on how and where to return and item if necessary.

This tracker worked effectively for…

This tracker worked effectively for about three months and then started to go wrong. It quickly became a device that could effectively locate my cat but the tracking wasn’t showing at all. There were lots of glitches and I initially got some useful help from customer services. But in the run up to the end of year one, I requested cancellation of my subscription as I wasn’t happy with the device and I was told that there would be no refund of year two payments. This made it feel like a total scam. The device stopped working properly a couple of months after the one year anniversary - it won’t charge properly at all and is basically a waste of space in my home. I’ve cancelled and switched to PetTracer which is already proving much more effective. If you decide to give Ubeequee a go, well, I wish you luck! But mostly, I strongly advise you not to fall for the two year subscription. You’ll no doubt regret it. I wish I’d taken more notice of reviews before signing up.

Got 2 trackers for my kittens, the battery is so poor it lasts barely a day. The app is extremely poor quality. Avoid!

Hi Charlie, our trackers have different update schedules and if yours are set to the one minute option, they will need charging every day. We do recommend the 10 minute update as this will last 24-36 hours in normal operating mode. More information is available on this on our website.

Doesn’t stay charged

I bought the watch for my Dad who has dementia and signed up to the monthly subscription. He hadn’t got lost before but we wanted to be prepared just in case. Then the worst happened and he went out during the heatwave. We checked his watch and hoped to track where he was but the battery was dead. The watch is charged everyday but just doesn’t hold its charge at all. I was advised to check the Location Update Setting which I changed but it didn’t make any difference. My Dad was missing for almost 3 hours and then found by the Police and taken to hospital with dehydration. After 16hrs sitting in a chair in A&E, he was fortunately released. My Dad went out again last week, and again the watch was dead even though his carer had charged it the previous evening. I don’t think the watch is fit for purpose and I have no confidence in it so wouldn’t recommend anyone buying it. I kept the watch on with the App running on my phone at all times but the phone doesn’t hold its charge and is therefore useless.

Hello, Thank you for your review and we are glad that your Dad is OK. When the watch has been charged, it needs to be turned back on as it cannot connect otherwise. We recommend keeping the watch turned on at all times and to leave the APP running in the background of your phone so that the connection remains active.

Unethical practices - refused to provide a refund

Very disappointed in the response from Ubeequee upon reasonably asking for refund. We purchased a tracking system for my mother in law who had late stage dementia and was prone to wandering. She has subsequently sadly passed away. Unsurprisingly, the thought to cancel this annual subscription slipped our minds whilst dealing with her estate and was only reminded when the renewal fee was taken from the credit card of my vulnerable father in law. He asked the company for his money back, explaining the reason. They have hidden behind their Ts&Cs saying they require 2 clear working days before renewal to cancel. The renewal reminder was sent on the Friday (which unfortunately went straight to his spam and was missed) and the money taken on the Monday - he would not have had 2 clear days to cancel even if it had been at the forefront of his mind. This behaviour strikes me as rather underhand and reliant on the fact people will forget about a rolling contract with very little signposting to its renewal. Beware if you are purchasing from Ubeequee for vulnerable loved ones.

The tracker did not work

The tracker did not work. I went on the app to track my cat and it told me he was 40 miles away, but my cat was sat next to me. When trying to get a refund for the tracker it took multiple emails and persuasion to actually get my money back. Avoid these fraudsters at all cost!!!

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!! This product wasn't great. I travelled away from my property (2 hour drive) and both of my pets logged on the app as being still at my property, despite being with us the whole time. I made very little use of the devices and they remained forgotten on shelf gathering dust until I noticed the company had billed me recently.

Be extremely wary when signing up for a subscription with this crowd. I was automatically billed at the end of the agreed period, no notification, no invoice, just a charge on an expired bank card!!! The company will not refund despite this questionable and unethical business practice, and I am left disputing this charge with my bank.

The tracker simply does not work

The tracker simply does not work. I have had a replacement and it is just as useless. Most of the time the tracking does not work. I have had many email conversations on how to remedy this, I follow the instructions given by customer support, but still it does not work anything like well enough for us to be able to rely on it.

It is also very difficult to charge. Sometimes it charges. Sometimes it doesn’t. My 80 year old Dad becomes very stressed by this and then myself or my sister are constantly going round and trying to resolve it.

I have replaced the watch with an AirTag and have sourced a watch strap specifically designed to insert the AirTag into it. You do have to have an iphone to use it, but it is far more reliable and I am not constantly spending my time trying to remedy issues which are not solveable.

I would advise anyone considering buying one of these to steer clear.

Waste of time and money

Have now bought 2 trackers with them.
Unfortunately both have had the same issues.
They disconnect from the internet leaving the device unusable, the support suggestions do not work.
They will then suggest sending you another sim which takes days, so your loved one is left vulnerable.
The online support is terrible and at this moment non existent. I’m still waiting for help 24 hours later, having no response to my emails. Nowhere to go other than to cancel my subscription and go with another company,
Pretty disgusted with the treatment I’ve received considering your dealing with vulnerable people and wasted a lot of time and money with them.

At no pint did I say I was “Happy” I did answer the question UBEEQUEE asked if it were a new tracker and I got no response to that or to the second query saying I still required their help, until I put up the Trustpilot review.

FRAUDSTERS!!!!
After 2 years ago having to go through my credit card company to get the transaction refunded they have again taken a subscription despite saying it had been cancelled. Again I'm having to go through the credit card to get a refund - DO NOT USE!!!
(the product was useless as well hence cancelling the subscription in 2021!!)
