Website is terrible. The payment system didn’t work. I ordered and paid via bank transfer and emailed to confirm I had made the payment. Got no information. Called up day before my holiday to find they hadn’t even marked it as paid or dispatched the order.
Now going on holiday and can’t do water sports!
Stated on website it would be dispatched next working day after payment received. Obviously terrible service

Prescription cycling glasses, exactly as ordered, great service and advice over the phone, would highly recommend

Based on my personal experience.
Comedy of errors, speedy quote then had to chase for order to be made and then again when they misplaced my quote acceptance. Order eventually placed, and was looking forward to receiving Wiley X Spears.
After 3 weeks I thought I'd ask for an eta as my request when placing the order was unanswered. Nice reply back, another week.
Week went passed, nothing heard so I again followed up, another week. So I phoned up, needed another week as one of the lenses had fallen out of the polishing machine and needed to be remade. Fair enough it happens.
Another week elapsed, got an email asking for my address as they couldn't find it, so emailed back with details and pointing to the earlier email I had sent with my invoicing details. Eventually, after another two days they dispatched next via Royal Mail and was delivered as promise.
At last, excited I opened the package! Instead of the Wiley X Spears I had ordered, they had made up a pair of Wiley X Sabers!
Now I didn't order via their Web, so all via email, and that may be the reason why so much went wrong. And to be fair when I asked for a refund they didn't quibble and sent me a return label immediately via email and said they will refund when received back.
So disappointed, waste of time and upfront money paid taking nearly 5 weeks.
Will not use them again or recommend.

3 weeks later, no lenses or any communication at all. I bought elsewhere in the end but this shambles of company won’t return my money which is £199.95

well, spoiler alert - i ordered glasses a month ago and I still don't have them.

first they were just "delayed because of some supply problems". no one was replying to my emails, so i had to call to find this out. then i asked for my prescription to be updated due to the initially incorrect pd measurement. at that moment the glasses still were not in works.

then i got the glasses with the wrong prescription.

then it took some ridiculous number of back and forths to get a return label.

then, a month in, once they've got the glasses back, they just stopped replying. had to request my money back through the bank.

Absolute top company with top customer service.
I ordered two pairs of wrap around sports glasses with an FL-41 tint to prevent vestibular migraines.
The customer service from Mike Dixon at UK Sports Eye Wear has been out flipping standing.
Mike knows his products and his profession, this clearly comes across while chatting on the phone to him.
His customer service skills are exemplary, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending UK Sports Eye Wear.
For anyone suffering with migraines from indoor lighting like myself, I have only had these prescription glasses with the FL-41 tint for a week now, so a little early to say for definite, but up to now, they do seem to be working touch wood.

Goods didnt arrive after 6 weeks. Have chased a couple of times by email to the main contact email, with no reply. Original order was chased by UK Eyewear for clarification of the prescription which I provided. No reply. Have gone back to my credit card provider and asked for refund

I just got my sports glasses from UKsportseyewear. They were brilliant, I email Mike to see if they had my size and they replied very nicely. We exchanged a couple of emails to know more information about the product. I even end up getting a discount. I definitely would recommend them

Gave them all the info they asked for, sent me goggles that were too blurry to wear, then tried to charge me over £100 extra! Ignored my last 3 emails. Please give me my money back!

It may sound strange to write a review when I have no product but I ordered some goggles for my son and wanted to check when they'd arrive. I phoned up and Mike was so helpful, explaining that actually the prescription lenses I had ordered wouldn't work for my son. He could've tried to hard sell me the expensive ones my son would need, but instead was honest in saying it probably wasn't worth it at this time due to the limited amount my son wears the goggles and the fact his prescription is likely to change due to his condition and age. He processed the refund immediately. Mike clearly knows his prescriptions and eyes and, if I ever need any specialist prescription eyewear in the future for my son, I will definitely be using this company.

Recently bought some shooting glasses was fairly long process and had to call alot but they were always polite and i got what i wanted in the end so really happy. Glasses are great and Mile was really helpful and knowledgable

Very unprofessional. Accepted my order and waited 8 days to inform me that I haven't submitted a prescription, despite the fact that I did. When I re-submitted the prescription, to justify the delay the caused (instead of saying sorry) they responded that it was not the prescription they needed and made an unilateral decision to cancel my order "in order to avoid further unpleasantness", even thought all other eye wear shops previously accepted the same prescription.

This company clearly has no idea how to treat people. Communication and basic courtesy must be the fundamental requirements, but these seem beyond them. In the end I was relieved to terminate the relationship and get my money back.

They seemed to offer a range of options and there was an online form, but when I tried to refine my order it failed to adjust to my modifications, whatever I did, so I just tried to make it clear what it was I wanted in the hope of entering into a dialogue and achieving that. I was willing to pay £200+ for the glasses if it could be done.

I did then get an initial response, and tried to clarify my requirements. Then nothing. I followed up twice. Still nothing. Weeks, and then months, passed. After several futile attempts, I threatened legal action. Finally they answered, but it was laced with sarcasm and belligerence, suggesting the fault was all mine in the first place - implying that the real problem was that I’m an idiot who clearly hasn’t learned to read. They cancelled my order and refunded me.

I’m putting this down as a lucky escape and take my business elsewhere, and I’ll check sites like this before I order again. Clearly Sportseyewear are not concerned with reputational damage, which seems an odd position to take, but it’s up to them I suppose.

I can’t fault the service that I have received. I put through an order for rugby goggles on a Friday after closing time. I rang the number on the website and spoke to Mike. I explained that I needed the goggles within a 2 week timeframe and he asked me to call back on the Monday and he would ask the lab to prioritise the lenses, as my daughter has a very high prescription I thought it would take longer. Mike told me that it would probably take the two weeks for the goggles to arrive, which was fine. I actually received the goggles on the Thursday, so the whole process took less than a week. I would also add that I am in Northern Ireland, which can sometimes pose companies a problem when it comes to delivering. Great service, from start to finish.

I wish I had looked on Trustpilot before odering from this company. I purchased a pair of moisture-chamber glasses as I have 'dry-eye'. After trying the glasses on I found them to be useless as they would only suit people with ears half way down their necks! There is a huge gap at the top (which defeats the object of the galsses) and the bottom digs in under the eye. I wrote to the company to explain and asked if I may return the glasses - I heard nothing. I wrote again after a couple of weeks but still no answer, that was over 2 weeks ago. I saved up for a long time for these glasses and now I realise I have lost the £120 - what a company!

DO NOT ORDER, MISGUIDED INFORMATION, OUTSOURCES ABROAD, RUBBISH AND VERY RUDE AND INSULTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. AT FIRST THEY TOLD ME THE FRAME I ORDERED WASN'T AVAIALABLE, I HAD TO FIND THIS OUT 3 WEEKS LATER BY CALLING THEM, COULDNT EVEN EMAIL OR RING ME TO INFORM ME! 7 WEEKS WITH ONLY 2 EMAILS DELAYING BY 2 WEEKS. THEY OUTSOURCE ABROAD FOR CUSTOM LENSES, IN THE END THEY REFUNDED ME TO "END THE TRANSACTION AS I WAS GETTING NERVOUS ABOUT WHEN THE ORDER WOULD BE COMPLETED" SHAME THEY REMOVED THE REVIEW FEATURE ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE, PROBABLY BECAUSE THEIR WAS ALOT OF BAD REVIEWS.

Took a while get my glasses (3 weeks), but having said that the lenses were made in Germany and as such high quality, and then had to have a final finish in the UK Lab, overall the glasses are very good quality bearing in mind the price of £199, for full Motorcycling sun glasses with full transitional lenses, and I mean Full, completely clear in low light and nice and dark in bright sunshine, also have bi-focal option, so could not be happier.

Absolutely shocking customer service. A complete shambles, very disorganised, poor communication. Incorrect size lenses were sent despite several phone calls with Mike checking we had the correct size. No apology. Highly unprofessional and incompetent service.

Absolutely brilliant. Ordered a pair of prescription shooting / running glasses and they arrived 3 weeks after order. Very happy with them. Craftmanship is good, and prescription is spot on. Will be returning for another pair soon

I wanted a set of sunglasses for kayaking and cycling. I found them very helpful. They answered the phone promptly and Mike (the optician) was especially good. I fouled up on the first purchase and they we very considerate even though the exchange would have cost them money. I ended up with what I wanted at a good price (Leader-circuit - these come with a clip on headstrap). Would recomend them.
