Fantastic
Everything from order to delivery was faultless. The grey slate chips were exactly what we needed after difficultly finding this colour. The only downside was having to buy a bulk bag which was more costs effective but I have lots left over. Would be good to have other bulk quantities available.

This is my second time ordering slate from Stone Direct so that probably says it all but to elaborate they were great with communication from purchase to delivery. The product is as described, good big chunks and value is so much better than buying from a diy store. Highly recommend.

Great product range and very competitive prices. We saved over £70 for the same product from a local supplier. Delivery was quick and the driver was extremely helpful and polite. Delivery cost was extremely good. Recommended and we definitely would use UK stone direct again.👍👏👏👏👏👏👏

very easy transaction and delivered on the day agreed and left the 2 pallets where we agreed. fantastic service just a shame the driver couldn't stay to help shovel 2 ton of slate...Ha-ha!

Terrific company. Great communication. Cost to deliver to London was more than reasonable and a good stress free delivery. And the slate looks fabulous. I got plum 22 size chipped plumb and very happy. Highly recommend.

A tale of two halves!
The lady I dealt with in the office to make initial enquiries and place the order could not have been more helpful - the 3star rating was given because the haulage firm failed to deliver on the agreed date - as builders had been scheduled on site for that day particularly inconvenient.

I was very impressed with the delivery schedule which arrived promptly as specified. The bulk bag of slate stones placed upon a sturdy pallet was carefully positioned in a safe location at the side of the house. The product perfectly suited my landscaping project.

Bulk Bag delivery notification
Ordered my bulk bag of stone initially from Breedon Aggregates. The stone is exactly what I wanted and matched the free sample we had previously ordered. My only minor complaint is that I didn't receive any notification of a delivery time window on the day of delivery. This wasn't a problem for me as someone was at home at the time.

Yes delivery was quick and on the expected date. The stones are as expected. A bit dirty but nothing that some rain can't fix.
The two big bags of stones were delivered on pallets. The delivery company didn't provide the driver with a functioning electric pallet carrying machine so I had to help the guy pushing the pallets into my driveway. Not the best if you are in your 70s.
