I love United Carpets. They are a smashing company. I've been using them since I moved to Chesterfield 30 years ago & I won't buy from anywhere else.
I went in & selected a carpet. The sales person chatted with me. I was asked which room it was for,l I said spare bedroom. She said you don't need that type of carpet or to be paying that much for a bedroom carpet. She showed me the range of goods & showed me a different range. I bought a fabulous carpet & underlay. Fitting was arranged & it was fitted a few days later It's like so much nicer than its realised,
it's like walking on air when I go into that roo. It also looks so beautiful. Everyone comments positively when they see it. What makes me cross? Those people who see & say it's beautiful. They sit on the floor feeling the carpet & assumed I'd paid a lot for it "You must tell us where you bought it from. We need one exactly like this...." When I told them I bought it from United Carpets & Beds. they pulled a face because the exterior of their building isn't 'posh' I don't understand someone who judges the company based on the outside of the building. Every member of staff there who I've ever dealt with has been really good.
The carpet fitter who came was fabulous. He suggested something different when it came to small cupboards that are at floor level The result of taking his advice is so much better than I'd hoped for
Please go & see their range of stock,its far bigger than I expected. The best part ?
It's not the great staff, or the large range of first class products or even the exceptional customer service.. It's all of those plus a great price

Excellent quality carpets
Excellent quality carpets. John the fitter was friendly and had the carpets fitted within a few hours and nothing was too much trouble. Gave good advice on cleaning the carpets if anything got dropping on them that could stain.

Bought two carpets from here two weeks ago the customer service in the store was excellent friendly polite and knowledgeable. The carpet fitter was on time professional and did a great job. I’ve bought all mr carpets from this store for at least 15 years . Always been happy Thankyou

Excellent service in store, the 2 fitters arrived on time were friendly and professional, any problems were discussed with me before continuing. They fitted carpets and vinyl to the whole house in 1 day. Very happy with the work and would recommend them.

Excellent service from the team at the Chesterfield store. From our order being placed, confirming the measurements of our bedroom and the carpet fitter, excellent!!! We ordered on the Sat and by Thursday the carpet was fitted. Very happy customer indeed!

United carpets Chesterfield
United carpets were brilliant at helping us out when my elderly father was due to be released from hospital and we were given very little notice. We had already taken carpets up and needed to get new ones down very quickly. They told us that they could fit them 4 days later. We went in 2 days later to choose new floor coverings and Sarah was really helpful giving advice on what would probably be most suitable for an elderly person. The carpets were fitted on Friday as promised and look great. Can’t thank them or praise them enough. Reasonably priced too. Many thanks.

Everything was straightforward from going into the shop to choose a carpet, booked a fitting date and then having the carpet fitted. The fitters were professional and extremely quick so all being said would highly recommend

Always good service have used this company for the past 3 years having carpets throughout my home with fitting lovely helpful sales people the lady in charge is so helpful I have just purchased Astro turf this time bought off the roll and delivered really good quality at a veery reasonable price highly recommend this store
