Double headboard …
I ordered a silver grey double headboard it was delivered on the time stated. I was always well informed calls texts and email on the progress upto delivery date . Would definitely use the company again

Flooring
Never ever again very poor customer service and to be told after my bathroom floor had been put down I had to put a sealant round it not by united carpet fitters which I thought I would get I got a subcontractor and who marked all my wood skating boards and had to be repainted

We do not silicone the edge of vinyl flooring when fitting as standard. This is not a requirement and we would always advise anyone wishing to add this to their flooring to do so after the flooring has settled for a period of time.
Our team are always happy to answer any queries you may have. Sealant was not discussed at the time of purchase, however we would always encourage you to ask any questions you may have so that you can be fully informed prior to your purchase.

Great service from start to finish
Great service from start to finish, the staff walked us through the ranges we liked, then booked us a measuring appointment within a week. We then choose and paid, within two weeks we were offered a fitting date, on the day we had a call with a time slot, the fitters did a great job, excellent service all round

I was overcharged.
I was overcharged.
I'm not happy with the way I was treated from start to finish with thus company. Although the invoice I received in the shop told me what I'd bought there was no breakdown of the total amount. When I got homei checked on the website and it appeared I had been overcharged by £60.
When the carpet fitters fitted ky carpet the scuffed my walls and chipped the paint on my skirting boards. Someone came out to look at the damage and told me "that's what happens when you have a carpet fitted". When I mentioned the overcharge I was told someone would call me. They did and I was told I was due £49 back. Again, no breakdown of how that amount had been calculated.
I WON'T be buying any more carpets from here. I don't like being ripped off.

Store experience great, carpet fitting not so much! Was rude and then had to have back to sort and still doesn’t look correctly fitted!

Waste of time leaving a rating because…
Waste of time leaving a rating because if it isn't positive they ask you to email but never respond.
This is my third time using United carpets and beds. The carpets are decent, prices are decent, fitting teams are decent but the in store experience has been poor on each visit. They will put a different price on the carpet and then tell you someone must have messed with the sticker. Staff are incompetent.

Not satisfactory.........
We emptied the bedroom for the benefit of carpet fitter and new bed. Despite providing full measurement, to Steve, the wrong size carpet was ordered, which threw out delivery of the new bed.
Eventually got correct size carpet fitted.
Not one word of apology from Steve.
Would never buy from them again

Not good service …
I had know problem going to the shop and ordering the carpet, it was the fitters who laid the carpet it wasn’t the new underlay I paid for, I have photos of the underlay it was all ripped and missing.
My advice to new customers is make sure you look at the underlay, before the carpet goes down.

Fantastic from start to finish.
When in the showroom choosing my floor covering the assistant was very knowledgeable in the products sold and helpful in helping me make a decision. I had to change my original fitting date and this was no problem just changed it for me. The fitter was excellent he even took all the off cuts to the skip outside for me and my floor looks fantastic.

The staff in the shop were very helpful and pleasant. Our questions were answered straightforwardly and a way was found to fit the carpet as economically as possible. The fitters were friendly and competent and we are delighted with the finished job. Special thanks to Dave in the shop and the fitting team too.

Love the carpet
Love the carpet but was slightly disappointed that the fitter left 2 of the 4 doors on the landing unable to close so my husband ended up re-fixing the metal fastenings on those doors, also he left a big rubbish bag at the side of the bin without asking us if we minded which would have been acceptable but as we didn’t know it was there it got wet and blew all down the side of the house also we never got a receipt that we were promised that the fitter would give us.
