Relentless spammers, sending emails warning of threatened fines and penalties (all the bad stuff in bold type).

So far they have sent an email a day for the last fortnight or more, with escalating levels of threat.

Their business model (which they have used in the United States with real estate verifications) is to find services you can do yourself relatively easily for free, then use high pressure emails to tell you they will do it for you, implying strongly without saying so that they are the only approved provider or are part of the regulatory body.

Although there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of their emails, since they don't put their company details in their emails, I have no trust that it's not just a link to download malware.

This company sent a spam email from nik@veriyfymyclient to suggest I was overdue. At first I thought it was Companies House, then realised it wasn't. Their checking system was very slick and obviously checks against CH. However, I thought " i'll just see what happens" and clicked on my name. It said I had been verified, but not as a PSC ( which I didn't know I had to), so I used the CH system to verify myself as a PSC using my new code. The CH said I was confirmed as a PSC. I then went back to VMC and did it all again. Their system is not dynamically connected. I think the company is simply trying to cash in on the new system. Somehow they had my email ( from CH?) You don't need them, just use CH system.

SPAMMERS. I WOULD NOT TRUST OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. YOU DO NOT NEED A COMPANY TO DO THIS VERIFICATION, YOU CAN EASILY DO IT YOURSELF.

I am so sick of the spamming emails. Because they are linked to companies house they are creating confusion at a time when companies house have introduced a new process with verifying your identity. I have completed everything i need to directly with companies house but getting inundated with these emails suggesting there are steps i need to take. Just annoying. Don't be fooled!

Companies House is the Problem not Verify My client!

I have 3 companies and was confused by Companies House new verification regulations. It seems you get your identity verified but your companies are not verified until you file a statement for each! CRAZY!

But Verifymyclient helped me out, they explained the process and now they file all my confirmation statements and PSC documentation.

This not a scam, this is an antidote to terrible Government overreach badly implemented process.

Spamming me for a service I can do for free for my company on the Companies House website.

I didn't sign upto the mailing list so a breach of GDPR right there.

I received multiple emails from this company saying I had to verify my identity for a company I run. This part was true, companies house do now require this verification. The most recent email from verify client said the deadline was only days away. Stupidly on my part I didn’t check out the company first and assumed that the emails were from a companies house affiliated service and this was the way to verify my identity. I went through the process and paid £84. Surprised by the amount I’d had to pay I did some digging and found out that the deadline they had stated was incorrect, and the deadline for verifying was months away, and that this could be done at companies house just as easily and for no cost. The emails from the company were misleading and very pushy, using false deadlines and warnings of fines to push their service. I did then contact the company and they refunded my payment which was good. So not entirely a bad experience but if they approach you double check if they have really been instructed to verify your identity on behalf of another company or not.

I have been inundated with emails from this company, wanting me to pay for a service that is free to do on the government website. I am now being sent emails saying that I haven't verified, when I have verified. It all seems extremely dodgy.

Send out marketing emails to unrelated emails addresses even though they are supposed to be verification service !

Spamming to offer verification service which is freely provided by the government. What a scam.
