Great help from recruiters

My stepfather is a difficult person to live with. On a couple of occasions he dismissed the carer without any reason. Luckily Veritas quickly found us someone new. They were so patient with us, especially with my stepfather. Every time they provided us with yet another great carer. Great company.

Best live-in care company
Veritas assisted my 89 years Dad following a stroke. Thanks to the carers from Veritas he could remain in his own home. That was a relief for him, considering what kind of a homebird he was. Veritas stayed in touch and we had a brilliant communication with their customer relations managers. The carer they provided us with was a young energetic lady, who was perfect for my Dad. The price they offered were fairly reasonable.

Caritas supplied my 95 year old father…
Caritas supplied my 95 year old father with a sweet and conscientious young woman whose company he much enjoyed. She was a good companion-fitted into our family very well and cooked some nice meals, a boon for my father who was quite a gourmet

I wish we had found them before
I wish we had found them before. Reasonable priced 24hr care for my alzheimer's suffering mother, where we get to choose the carer we want. Previous experiences where we used the normal agency's which charge a highly inflated price, twice the amount the carer gets paid and then dump carers on my mother who have been very unsuitable in the past and then aren't willing to move them. It's been working out really well for us and have found 2 lovely carers.

First class communications backed up by a good care package.
I contacted Veritas Care when elderly relatives living in Sussex needed what they could provide. I always found them easy to contact and communications between myself and Peter their customer relations manager were excellent. He was always ready to listen to our requirements
and respond accordingly, sometimes as is usually the case in such circumstances there were
difficult issues to be dealt with but I always found he dealt with them very professionally and
with a high degree of understanding. Their carers always arrived on time, changeovers were
seamless and the care that was provided was of good standard. Their rates were competitive
with like companies and overall I was very happy with the relationship we had with Veritas Care.

We were very pleased with the service from Veritas. Their Mariola Paradowska provided excellent care for my elderly Father, cooking him healthy and delicious meals and keeping his spirits up.
We felt we could rely on her, and Veritas, in a difficult time.

Finding the right carer with the…
Finding the right live in carer with the correct skills, attitudes and behaviours that fit in with the family is really challenging. On the whole Veritas did a reasonable job and some of their carers were outstanding. Asha and Sonia were particularly amazing.

Really value Veritas Care
Really value Veritas Care, they look after my mum really well and enable her to stay in her own home.i think my only reservation is the 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off whch is a little unsettling for her but i totally see why the carers need a long break.

Thank you very much for your review. We understand that the 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off can be a little unsettling. We find it however way better for the person in care than the common shorter pattern. Many care providers use 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, but it can be more disturbing - carers are changing more often. We try to consider everything , case by case.
