Victory Cruise Lines Avis 

The service was spectacular. This was our first cruise and we had a great time. The food was fresh and there was a great variety to chose from. The portions were just the right size. At the end of each meal we felt full, not stuffed. The tours at each port were interesting and the tour guides were very helpful. Each day was like a new adventure.
This is a great way to see the great lakes. We could have spent several days at each port exploring different places.
The ship is in excellent condition and the time spent on deck while cruising was really enjoyable. Having talked to fellow passengers that had cruised on much larger ships, the size and number of passengers created a very relaxed atmosphere. We would do a similar cruise without hesitation.

The staff and the service was great, accommodating and always with a great attitude.

The excursion travel guides were very exceptional for the most part. I would hope that in the future whisperers could be used more often on city walking tours as many times we couldn’t hear the speaker. The bus drivers were also exceptional. Thanks.

Having only one bus transfer to the airport was also inconvenient. We all arrived to the airport at 9 and no planes left until after 2.

Ramat was our dining room waiter and he was exceptional. S as was Max, Uno and Edward.

Your staff made the trip friendly and well organized.

We enjoyed the personal association with the staff. I enjoyed the intimacy of the smaller ship (boat).
The ports of call were ho hum! The maple syrup tour was okay but all the info on the way to the facility was over our heads. We enjoyed the Henry Ford Museum and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A tour of the Boldt Castle would have been an excellent stop. Having John Waggoner come on board and give a talk was a great treat.

Trip, ship, staff, meals, entertainment, speaker excellent.
Only complaint was shore excursion guides. The guests in the first 2-3 seats on bus did not pay more than those in back. 3 guides consistently had "private" conversations - did not repeat what was being shared with all guests. If a guide doesn't want to use mic to speak to all, then don't guide.

Good from beginning to end. Staff was fantastic, entertainment great! Weather was great (don't know how you did that). Sarah the wine steward, Tyronne the server and Sid the room attendant were superb. These things, along with the folks we traveled with make it likely we'll do something like this again! Thought food was very good & lots of choices. Only thing we were not crazy about was cooking our own dinner in the Grill. Excursions were good in general--learned something at every stop. For only 3 people (Nicole, Sean & Jeremy) they did a heck of a job.

Our experience with Victory Cruise Lines was truly wonderful. The service was exceptionel from beginning to end . Every single member of the staff worked diligently, always with a warm smile, genuine kindness, and the utmost professionalism.The rooms, though small were immaculate comfortable and beautifully maintained .Their hard work, attention to detail, and sincere hospitality did not go unnoticed. They are fully the heart and soul of Victory Cruise Lines. A heartfelt thank you to the entire crew for making our journey such a delightful and unforgettable experience!

All help on boat so great,friendly,and helpful. Our room person Sid so wonderful with a greeting everyday. Table staff wonderful. Bar personnel on top remembering names and drinks. Such hard working personnel as they do a number of amazing jobs.
Some locations for tours could be longer like the highlight of the falls. So rushed.

Cabin #417 - The cruise was great. The ship was well maintained, extremely clean. The included excursions for this cruise was top notch. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and never repeated meals. Top praise to the chef.
What was extremely helpful was no matter who I asked that employee had the answer; didn't redirect me to another person, plus everyone was so accommodating.
I'd like to recognize a few people:
Manuel our steward, Mendido-4th deck The Grill, Marvin-mgr 4th deck The Grill, the female bartender and the lady with the ponytail who served us our drinks.
These employees made our trip just a little extra special.

Great service, friendly staff. In Toronto the Kensington market stop could be dropped so more time could have been spent in the Distillery Distrrict.

Employees who worked on the boat and food was outstanding. A special shout out to our waiter Ramat. He would always go above and beyond.

Would have been nice if we could have waited on the boat (not in our staterooms) on the morning of debarcation rather than having everyone leave for the airport at 8:00. We had to wait for 5.5 hours at the airport for our flight.

We loved the cruise, the staff, the ship and your nightly entertainment, our room steward, Cruise Director and Sabrina, in excursions! Your food was good, but needed a little more variety! We would have appreciated a round trip in the funicular in QUEBEC! Sea days, a few more activities would have been good! We loved the cruise, just some observations ! Thanks so much, we will book again! 👍❤️

Our stewardess Jho took wonderful care of us. She was considerate, conscientious, and efficient.
All our meals were delicious and all of our servers went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied. You have a wonderful staff!
Our only suggestion would be to supply guides and guests with listening devices while on Tours at the various stops .

Their itinerary was Excellent. We were not familiar with this part of the country and Victory did a great job introducing it to us. The ship was the perfect size (only 166 passengers for our trip). It was super easy to get around. The crew were great, responding immediately to our needs and the food was excellent. The included excursions were fun & informative. The entertainment, which was provided every night, was a high point, with the cruise director doubling as a super talented band member with her husband and a young drummer. They provided different music every night, reading the room with thoughtful precision.
We would highly recommend Victory 1 for a wonderful cruise on the Great Lakes !!

Crew worked together seamlessly. Food was great, loved the appropriate portions that were served. When ordering items needing condiments, the servers had to go back to the kitchen to get them; having them at their stations would have been better as food was cooling while they retrieved them. Excursions were great and in one case had to be adjusted; that happened without a hitch. Only downside was the size of our stateroom and the excursion in Montreal was too much bus time; would have loved to spend more time in the Distillery District.

After almost 50 cruises both ocean & river (Europe & U.S.) this cruise was one of the best. The ship was clean & well kept the crew was on top of everything, the food prep & presentation was great & the food was always hot.. THANK YOU. Our server Murni was excellent. Our cabin was cleaned up well & always restocked. Enrique did a great job. I appreciated everything about this cruise. The ports of call were well picked especially of course Niagra Falls. If you have a chance & time & the funds I highly recommend this ship & itinerary, you won't be sorry.

The food was what I thought you did best. The variety was great, the flavors great. I thoroughly enjoyed every meal.

The staff is the second thing done best. Friendly, happy, professional! Top notch.
