Wakefields is my retailer of choice
I’ve been using Wakefields for almost thirty years for purchases, having jewellery made and for repairs. The security doorman and all the assistants are professional, courteous and friendly. The store is well designed and always spotlessly clean. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Wakefields is my jewellery store of choice..

Excellent, courteous service
The shop and staff are always very welcoming, lovely to be offered a drink on arrival (although at 9:00am on a very wet Saturday we chose hot chocolate over alcohol!!) communication by email and telephone was good. The repair job we requested has been done beautifully..

Exemplary experience in a beautiful jewellers
It is a real treat to visit this beautiful jewellers. From the minute you step in the shop you feel welcomed and looked after. My husband and I were offered a variety of drinks, including bubbly! Lucy helped me choose a bracelet and again was professional but lovely and friendly. The shop itself has been updated and is just stunning.

Me and my partner had the best time at wakefields, Emma Gant was the lady who helped us find our dream rings. She made it such a beautiful & fun experience. You also get complimentary drinks which is always lovely.

First visit to Wakefields
This was my first visit to Wakefields and I was impressed with the friendly and professional welcome and service. Emma was very generous with her time, as we were seeking advice on several matters, Rolex servicing, watch battery replacements and insurance valuations. We also took some time to discuss current Rolex models. All together a worthwhile visit.

Quality Jeweller Wakefields
Wakefields Jewellers is the only Jeweller I trust. The service is professional. The quality of the staff and their knowledge, combined with their training is first class. They have an extremely smart jewellery shop in Horsham.
Trusting jewellers is so important. Any visit to a jeweller matters. Having the best advice and service is vital. Wakefields provides this.

Not a positive experience
I took a gold necklace to Wakefield’s for a small repair (replacement clasp). At first I thought their service was excellent as they welcomed me in and offered me a cup of coffee whilst they examined my necklace. I was advised that the repair would cost in the region of £40 which I accepted and asked them to proceed. I left the necklace with them and a week later received a call from a different salesperson saying that the cost was £130 and that the other assistant shouldn’t have quoted me £40.
I went to collect the necklace the following day and enquired whether I could sell the old clasp back to them to offset the cost and if so what was it worth. I was quoted (by yet another assistant) that he estimated it to be worth about £40, which seemed reasonable. He then disappeared behind the scenes to weigh the gold and came back with £15 in cash. That in itself felt grubby.
I don’t know much about the value of gold but both initial valuations were significantly under, and whilst I reluctantly accepted both, I came away wondering whether their staff were either massively incompetent or I’d been well and truly ripped off by this smarmy salesperson. It was not a good experience and I won’t be going there again.

Choosing our wedding bands
Choosing our wedding bands turned out to be the most amazing experience, far beyond anything we expected. We walked in not really thinking we would find “the one,” but we were completely blown away by the selection and the quality of the pieces. Everything felt special, unique, and beautifully crafted.
Becky made the whole experience unforgettable. She was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us find something perfect. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and relaxed, offering us champagne and taking the time to ask about our wedding, which made everything feel so personal and meaningful.
Her warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail were exceptional. She went above and beyond in every way, and it truly felt like she cared about our story and our choices. Thanks to Becky, what could have been a simple shopping trip became a really memorable part of our wedding journey.
We couldn’t be happier with our rings or the experience. I’ve already recommended Wakefields, and especially Becky to all my friends. I’ll definitely be making Wakefields my jeweller for future purchases, and I truly hope to work with Becky again. Highly recommend!

As a family
As a family, we have bought all our jewellery from Wakefilds for many years. Your jewellery is first class, but your real talent is your staff. They are all so welcoming and friendly. We have bought our last two items with Becky (including my dream Rolex). Becky was so nice and made us feel so welcome. Thank you, Wakefields. I can't wait to come back for my next purchase.
