Walden University Avis 

Their financial aid dept. is their weakest link at this University. They initially appear to care, but then weeks or months go by with no answer. They will assure you someone will reach out in 5 business days, and I have had 2-3 weeks, sometimes months, go by, and no one reached out until I called them again. This is extremely frustrating. The good things about this school: they have a robust online program, things are organized, they provide ample resources to get the work done, and it's less expensive and faster than other similar online University programs.

The program is easy to access online. The staff are supportive and knowledgeable. My student success advisor listens and supports me.

My experience at Walden University has been great so far. The instructors are helpful and supportive, and the online classes are easy to follow. I appreciate the flexibility of the program, which allows me to manage my work, family, and education while continuing to grow in my nursing career.

My Experience as a Doctoral Student at Walden University

My journey at Walden University has been marked by growth, perseverance, challenges, and personal transformation. As a Ph.D. candidate in Public Policy and Administration, I can certainly say that pursuing a doctoral degree is not for the faint of heart!
What I appreciate most about Walden is the opportunity to pursue higher education while balancing the many responsibilities that come with life, family, and a professional career. The flexibility of online learning has allowed me to keep working toward a goal that means so much to me.

My doctoral journey has had its challenges. The dissertation process, in particular, requires incredible discipline, patience, independent research, and determination. There have been moments of frustration, uncertainty, and even discouragement. However, I have also experienced tremendous personal and academic growth.

I especially appreciate faculty members who genuinely care about their students' success. My current dissertation chair, Dr. Singh, has provided valuable feedback, guidance, and encouragement that have helped me stay focused on completing this journey. Sometimes, hearing someone say, "I have no doubt you will complete your dissertation," is exactly what a doctoral student needs!

My journey at Walden is not yet complete, but neither is my determination. I have come too far to give up now, and I look forward to proudly adding Ph.D. behind my name!

Walden University has amazing professors who bring field experience into the classroom. The additional administrative staff is always willing to help in the best way possible. Applying was simple, and getting started with enrollment was easy. Even though Walden operates virtually, you have many opportunities to stand out based on your academic standing. I've had the greatest experiences being a student at Walden.

The instructors and support staff guided me through the process. You guys are great. Field experience is working very hard. If I had one wish, I wish I could get a faster response time from FE.

Walden University is the way to go! It is flexible, provides passionate learning, and builds community! The professors are dedicated and passionate about making a difference in our world. Walden has been my tool thru my BSN, MSN, and now my DrPH degree!

I am an online student. The ability to work at my pace is crucial to my success. Plus, even though I am online, I still feel supported by my instructors and especially my advisor Amy.

I am having a great experience with my professors, their feedback on my assignment and discussion post has been really helpful to keep me in check. My skill lab experience was great as well .
