£50 walking sticks and I have to put up with mismatching cases
Just purchased a pair of walking sticks for £50 and they arrived with mismatching cases. I pointed this out to walkingstick.co.uk and their answer was that this was how the manufacturer supplied them, so I have to put up with them. What an attitude. How hard would it have been to swap a case from another stick and send it out to me?

The walking stick with seat was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I haven’t had an opportunity yet to use it but am going on a city break next week where there will be a lot of walking and standing so I will definitely be trying it out then. It seems very well made and sturdy. The light weight and portability of it attracted me. The company website was very clear and user friendly.

Beware Walking Stick refund policy.
Walking Sticks supplied me with a seat walking stick. I needed to use it to ascertain its usefulness or otherwise. After about 2 weeks I returned it for a refund as it was deficient in 2 main areas. The company would not accept it for a refund as it had been "used". Of course it had been used, only in that way could I discover its shortcomings.
First up, the stick is too short and not adjustable for height. I am 5ft 10inches tall but my physio noted immediately that I was stooping when walking; stick too short and not adjustable.
The second problem was the uncomfortable seat, well it was for me at any rate.
Initially, as well as refusing a refund, the company demanded £4 postage to return the stick to me. This I was not going to pay but eventually Walking Stick sent it back.
I have never before experienced a refusal for a refund for unsuitable goods.

Thank you for your feedback.
We take all customer concerns seriously and aim to be as transparent as possible regarding our returns process.
While we always encourage customers to inspect their items upon delivery, our returns policy requires that items be returned in a new, resalable condition. In this instance, your return was declined because the walking stick showed significant signs of use, including visible scratches and wear to the paintwork at the junctions, which occurred during the two-week period it was in your possession.
We provided photographic evidence of this wear to illustrate that the item had been used beyond what is considered a reasonable trial of the product. Once a medical or mobility aid has been used outdoors or shows such wear, we are unable to accept it back, for hygiene and quality reasons.
Regarding the specifications, the height and non-adjustable nature of the seat stick are clearly stated in the product description, which even includes a reference video, to help customers make an informed choice before purchase.
As a gesture of goodwill and to resolve the matter, we waived the standard redelivery fee and returned the item to you free of charge.
We are sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations on this occasion, but we must uphold our policy to ensure the quality of the products we provide to all our customers.

A truly innovative device that…
A truly innovative device that diminishes the difficulties of having to mobilise with crutches. It took a day or two to adapt to wearing the iWalk 3.0, but afterwards it was fantastic to be able to move around the house and regain use of my hands whilst at the same time protecting my injured ankle. Walkingsticks delivered the item without delay and it was easy to put together with the help of all the associated online instruction videos.
