Waveshare shipping, customer support constantly lie. Shipping service is not what was asked for, paid for and listed/specified on the invoice.
They don't care, they take your money and that's it.
2 attempts to do this and 2 plethora of lies, it is not misleading or mistaken, it is clearly lying and refusing to take action and have now stopped replying.
Will never deal with them again

Bought some goods on the website; quality is horrible. Asked to initiate returns and was asked to ship item to China. Nowhere on their website do they mention where it is shipped from nor where you'd need to send it back. Additionally, they ask to lie on custom form and declare only 1/12th of the actual value. Customer Service stopped responding after a few email exchanges. DO NOT purchase from this website.

I bought an IPS/QLED screen, honestly up until I received it I didn't believe such a combination was even possible, but it indeed has all the advantages of both technologies as far as I see

They mis declared the package though, so I ended up paying 50% in customs taxes

So if you read this, to Turkey, you need to declare the full value of packages and refuse to send anything above 150 euros before contacting a customer

Bought a RP2040 zero Raspberry zero from them, item is non functioning and shows build defect (missing SMD resistor). Tried to contact them, never received any answer. Consumer support is non existent from my point of view.
Seems that their product is never tested before leaving factory.

Item never arrived. There response was to get me to chase the courier. When i declined there email response was vague and unhelpful. not sure whether theyre even chasing the courier.

I wrote an initial bad review about the 10.1 inch HDMCI LCD for the Raspberry Pi4, which I've now deleted. I was wrong because I didn't have the patience to read the instructions on how to set it up. I've now set it up and it's a sturdy decent display. The only flaw is that it only works with Raspbian and Ubuntu Mate, so to work with any OS on the pi would have been far better. But, so far a good solid screen that's worth the money

We purchased both the AlphaBot (Arduino) and the Alphabot2 (Raspberry Pi). Both kits were difficult to put together for fear of breaking force fit parts.
Arduino bot came with a broken support right out of the box. The batteries (15680) don't fit the battery bracket.
Bot turned on once and we haven't been able to turn it on again.
The Raspberry Pi was sold as a Raspberry Pi Zero W, but the bracket is only for a version 3 Pi. There is a adapter board supposedly, but can't find it on any website.
Stuck with two robots that don't work.

Before you buy anything from Waveshare, you should know that their manuals, instructions, help, files are the crappiest thing you will find. In case you still decide to buy thinking that you will get any after sale service the forget it. It's the worst. It's the most irresponsible and unethical company I have seen. I wish I would have seen the experiences shared by others before I had a business with them.

I recently ordered a few items from Waveshare direct and had a great customer service experience. I accidentally put in the wrong address so the package was lost in transit and USPS could not help. Waveshare kindly resent another package, despite it being my mistake, and I got it quickly after. I really appreciate their understanding and the fact they resent a package so I could enjoy their products, even thought it was my mistake.

The contact service support are not helpful, they're not responding on the after sales support you need - neither skype nor email.

Steer clear - it's the crappiest company you can ever imagine. They will lie you about the goods they don't have, promising get them on a next day (which actually might take weeks). When they're stating they shipped a package it's not necessary means so. In my case the tracking code showed that package was on the sender side for a week before was given to DHL courier. In total it took 'em about a MONTH to ship a package from the date of order.

The brand is okay if you buy from a local store that uses the higher price to cover average losses. International shipment can however take many months and you are always pretty much screwed if you need to return goods to Asia. The price of goods couldn't possibly cover additional shipping for a 10% failure rate. Buy from here if you are ready to take high risks for a marginally higher average profit.

They gave me a broken screen.
Contacted the support.
Support told me what to do.
I did everything they told me screen still broken.
now they ignore me and refuse to refund the product.

I ordered a touch display on 8th of February, unfortunately I don’t get any answer about my shipment. Won’t recommend this company to anyone...

Our museum, Wings of History Air Museum, is planning to install 3 video kiosks in our various locations in our facility so that our visitors can view a selection of short videos pertinent to what is on display.

We are using Raspberry PI computers and saw a configuration with a touch panel for control, showing the video on a separate big HDMI display. That seemed like a good idea, so we went looking for a touch panel. One of our folks picked the WaveShare Touch Panel and bought 3 "7 inch HDMI LCD" units.

The units came completely unassembled, with no assembly instructions. The bezel around the display does not cover the edges of the panel, leaving electronics visible around the edges.
One of the units simply crapped out when it was disconnected from the HDMI cable.

In short, we are disgusted with our unfortunate purchase and are planning to find a reliable vendor and validate any replacement candidate, and it will NOT be from WaveShare.
