Following a thorough inspection of my house and identifying where water ingress was contaminating the mineral wool type of cavity wall insulation, the lads from Westheads (no relation to me) set up their equipment and made good the existing faults to brickwork and roof tiling. The insulation material was sucked out via appropriate entry points cut into the wall and the whole process was completed in under two days, including re-setting brickwork high up by the apex and top gutters. All debris was tidied up and the old insulation packed & taken away safely. Highly recommended in every respect!

Agreed a very fair price to do the work that was needed and didn't try to push me into extras. Turned up on time and got the job done quickly, and did a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves - many don't! Would absolutely recommend.

Had Gary and Chris to install some central heating for us, and they have both done a fantastic job! Would definitely recommend if you need anything doing

Damp problems, very old cavity wall insulation (one of the earliest installations) and other issues in the house prompted me to get in touch with Gary at Westhead Extractions. I'm so glad I did because Gary and Lee came around and were fully equipped to remove the old insulation. Gary talked me through everything and kept me informed along the way. We had an issue with gaps in the inner wall where the powder came out (not their fault) and it's worth knowing to plug gaps with rags if you have this type of work done. Other issues with the property came to light along the way but Gary and Lee were able to give their advice and in some instances rectify those issues as we went along. I would highly recommend Gary and Lee, they were a pleasure to work with and very cheerful and friendly throughout. 5 stars.

Gary came round to quote for cavity wall insulation removal. He was very friendly and professional, he determined the cause of the damp problems and recommended solutions. The quote was a reasonable price, I accepted and he and Lee came to do the work. They were considerate when working and cleaned and removed all the debris. I would highly recommend this company for any similar work required. The knowledge and standard of work made this the easiest of reviews to write. Excellent 5 Star.

We had cavity wall insulation installed approx. 20 years ago and recently we had noticed a damp area in one of our rooms. We decided to employ a specialist to seek advice and hopefully provide a solution. Gary from Westheads came at the time we had agreed (a very good start) and carried out a very thorough inspection internally and externally. He provided advice on possible water ingress that could be the source of the problem and said he would consider a number of options to fix the problem. When he returned he went under the floor to inspect the area and removed a brick to boroscope the cavity. Sure enough, very damp "old" cavity insulation was very wet in the affected wall. He then removed as much of the material by hand then after further scope investigation used a compressor to remove the rest of the insulation in that area. His overriding motive in the job was to preserve as much of the unaffected insulation as possible and to preserve the outside of the house by drilling only one hole to access the compressed air wand. Three days after completion the wall is already drying out. A good job, a fair price and a sensible, constructive approach to the work. I would recommend Gary to anyone with similar problems.

There was excellent communication from start to finish. Gary and Jordan extracted the failing cavity wall insulation. Polite and professional and removal of all debris . Left property totally clean and tidy…

I contacted Gary from Westhead’s Extractions for advice, to which he carried out an independent inspection and gave me solutions. I acted upon the advice and the work was then duly undertaken by Gary.
Great service, good communication and they did an excellent job, leaving the place spotless.
Therefore I would highly recommend this company for their work ethics and quality of service, would definitely use them again.

Gary came as promised, sent an estimate which we considered a good price then came within the time forecast and did a good job. He and his team are pleasant and helpful and I would be happy to recommend them.

I live in Sheltered accommodation and my local housing association contracted my home insulation out to Westhead's Cavity Wall Extractions to carry out the works required - From the initial contact from Gary to the final day could not have gone smoother - They did my cavity wall-filling, the pointing of my outer wall and loft insulation - They gave me a time and date for the works and were there as stated - Their work was to a high standard and left a clean and tidy workplace after they finished each day - I do recommend this company for any work you might need doing they are honest and reliable.

Great job done the lads had a mare with my house but stuck with it and managed to clean it all out thank god left everything clean and tidy great job would recommend

Spoke to Gary a couple of times and he was professional and great to deal with. I had my insulation extracted years ago but was still having damp issues. Steve, Lee and Gary extracted all the insulation that was still in the walls and cleaned all the builders rubble in the cavities. They also put new DPC where all the air bricks were that hadn’t been replaced the first time around. Great job couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Westheads did very professional and diligent work on my house. They extracted expanded foam insulation and also removed spilt mortar and debris from inside the cavity which was causing a moisture bridge inside the house. I would recommend them as they did precise work in a house that could have easily been damaged.

Westheads did an excellent job, they removed my installation and installed loft installation. There was long period of trying to fully remove all the installation but it was removed and then they put my new loft installation in quickly. They communicated well with me when they needed to come out and do the job and they were friendly.
