Wickes - Bridgend Avis 

I have recently had a kitchen from Wickes. I have no problem with the kitchen itself, the quality and aesthetic is lovely. Customer aftercare however has been a nightmare. I have doors, end pieces and a splashback which is unopened. I have tried in several exchanges via email to address this, only to be told it has been forwarded to another department and have not had any response now for a full month. It would not trouble me but i didn't do any ordering as my bespoke kitchen was designed and ordered via a design consultant - who also has not responded to my email asking for assistance.

I was served by Kirsten who was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She was very welcoming and very pleasant. She helped choose specific products for a diy project I am doing. Very helpful and very polite. Thank you Kirsten for all your help.

I recently visited Wicks at Brigend, and was very pleased with Laura's attention.
She took the time to advise on stock availability. Laura was very helpful, had a very pleasant manner to all my questions. I would recommend Wicks for your home improvement plans.

I visited the Bridgend branch. Dylan L was really helpful when I was choosing paint, taking the time to help me mix and match colours and find the right combination. I visited twice. The first time, the machine wasn't working and he was very apologetic but the second time it was, and Dylan remembered me and explained what happened, why and what he did to fix it in the hope we'd be back. He was really friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole process much easier. I'll be back to visit Dylan soon! Thank you!

What amazing service I had today with the fab Betty at the Bridgend store.She was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she was so pleasant ,she even made buying paint fun!!!This is the best customer service I have had anywhere for a long time ..thank you Betty ..

This review relates to Wickes Bridgend and Jayde our kitchen design consultant. She came to our property and listened to our specific requirements and budget limit. The design brief fitted what we required exactly, as did the cost. Very happy with the kitchen units supplied and her ongoing support throughout the project, which was appreciated. Customer service received by all parties was excellent.

The staff at the Bridgend branch were fabulously helpful to me today.
I wasn’t sure which products I needed and the staff went out of their way to sort me out, made sure I had the right products AND saved me a little money too.
I have to say, Laura was particularly helpful, guiding me through things, searching for products and saving me money. Special thanks to her.
On today’s shopping experience, I can’t fault anything and can’t speak highly enough of the Bridgend team.

Went into the Bridgend Store, the staff were helpful, even a member who had just finished work, was happy to assist. It is rare to even find a store assistant when shopping these days, so 10/10 for all your knowledge and guidance. The cost and quality of my products were cheaper than competitors and customer service was outstanding. I also had to return to the store for a refund on an item, and again, staff were on hand to help and dealt with me quickly. Thank you

Dylan was very helpful when I visited Bridgend wickes earlier this week, very friendly and knew exactly where everything was I was looking for. Amazing customer service and a credit to your company

Dylan N gave me the best advice when i came into the bridgend branch, i was unsure of how to set up my fence panels for my garden and he took me to all the products i needed to do my garden project. An excellent colleague.

Jude was such a delight at the tills, so polite and friendly and always a smile on his face.

Made a booking for a bathroom design appointment but no one turned up. When i phoned the store i was told no one was working from the department that day and the person who was named as attending was the store manager (who doesn't even do them!)
Emailed customer services to complain and mentioned their online system needs to be reviewed, as it lets you book a visit when there is no one available - not very efficient at all and rather annoying for the customer who is waiting for someone to turn up.
Then I received a feedback request for the visit (that did not take place) - talk about being insulted twice

The staff at wicks Bridgend are all extremely helpful and gave excellent customer service !

Cornelly Utd Football club applied for Wickes Community support, after speaking to Ian the store manager he kindly directed us to the application, within 48 hours we were successful and Wickes donated 10 bags of Postcrete to help us install new posts and nets behind the goals. Pehaps we won't lose so many balls now ⚽️. Small donations like this help our club thrive and make a real difference, thank you to Wickes and to Ian for the support, help and kind donation.

Chico went above and beyond helping me find the right plumbing bend and correct size pipe for an outside drain pipe. Honestly, he was more knowledgeable than the waster plumbers I paid a fortune to who used all the wrong pipe work. I now have a fully operational drainpipe that doesn’t fall off thanks to Chico - and it only cost £6.25!

Corner beading I bought was top quality, Meghan was brilliant this morning, sorted me out with my trade account and also on previous trips to Wickes she has gone out of her way to help even when the store was extremely busy.

Wicks Bridgend donated 50lts of paint rollers trays and paint brushes to our charity Friends of St Johns. We can't thank them enough for there generosity. Ian the manager received my email and got back to me very quickly to say how happy Wicks would be to do this. When I picked it up the staff were extremely helpful and polite I couldn't fault Wicks in anyway.
