Wickes - Bridgend Avis 

Met Scott .R today who kindly helped me with my latest project. He was patient and gave great advice which was greatly appreciated.

Dylan was very helpful in all aspects of my purchase, nothing was too much trouble. I had spoken to him on the telephone on Monday evening, and asked for him to serve me when I went into the store on Tuesday. Thanks very much

Clear signage, good prices and friendly staff.

Visited the Bridgend store for tiles for our kitchen and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We were served by Meghan who went above and beyond to help us. The tiles we needed were buried beneath a pile of others and we are an elderly couple unable to lift them. Without us even needing to ask, she moved all the heavy boxes several times to get ours, even getting on her hands and knees. She was marvelous and deserves recognition for how helpful she was.

I have been doing some plumbing at Cowbridge and the nearest wickes is at Bridgend , I have to say that there were a number of staff who I can say were incredibly helpful and knowledgable .
The two male members of staff that aided me I unfortunately forgotten their names but the young lady at the checkout called Laura helped me too. And I’m grateful for that ..
It’s good to see staff being helpful and knowledgable in the trades…

Needed to order some doors for delivery, the assistant Laura was fantastic, very friendly and super helpful to make sure I got exactly what I needed as I couldn’t find the correct sizes online.

We have been back and fore to this store several times over the last few days. Every time we have found what we wanted and been treated courteously and efficiently at the tills. Gwen, at the Bridgend Store, went out of her way to be helpful, advising us that we could have a piece of plasterboard delivered at a very reasonable cost, helping us to select an undamaged piece of board and completing the order for us.

I dealt with Dylan L both last night and this morning. The young man really went out of his way to assist me. I told him what I needed and he identified the right product for me. Thanks Dylan L, you really helped out a DIY novice.

The staff are so helpful, particularly Kirsten. She always welcomes with a smile and is always so helpful.

Only briefly came in today for a big tin of paint, boy named Ieuan directed me to the one I needed and took it to my car for me 😄😄 very quick and easy, seems to be good customer service through the whole store! ☺️🙌

Scott R made my visit quick and successful! I honestly didn’t have a clue of what to get or where to find it. He is so cheerful and amiable. I would definitely recommend Wickes to anyone. Plus, Scott deserves a pat on the back!

Someone from your Bridgend store came to complete a kitchen appointment on Thursday 11th September 2025. The guy, Curtis, was in the house barely 10 to 15 minutes. Promised to send plans through, share kitchen cabinets examples, colours, finishes. He explained should have the proposed designs in the next day or so. Nothing since. I have phoned him and left messages. I responded to the Wickes email asking how it went, no response. two weeks on nothing. Very poor Wickes thought you were better than this

I struggled to find the materials I was looking for as it was my first time shopping at wickes. The female manager I think her name was Kerry was very helpful and showed me around the shop to find everything I needed.

Store was clean and tidy and the goods I wanted were in stock but in particular Dylan L was very helpful in locating the correct glue I needed and Meghan was very cheerful and helpful at the till, it brightened up the end of a very hard day.

Today we visited the store in Bridgend.
The customer service we received was top class. They helped us into the car with all our purchases. Giving us advice all the way. The girl on the till was really helpful plus the manager helped us to the car. Meghan and Dylan L, plus the other staff there gave us excellent service. Keep up the good work guys.

Absolutely five stars for Wickes! Busy morning today, lots to pick up, Crystal was extremely helpful, a credit to the store. Couldn’t find an electrical item, she knew exactly where it was! Don’t go anywhere else! Top store and staff 👍
