Wickes - Chadwell Heath Avis 

Perfect shop makes a nice impression from the entrance, colleagues & store manager very helpful. My local Wickes & go whenever I need something.

This shop is my local, everytime I go in the standards are great and I find everything I need I love this shop

I had a great experience with Wickes. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help me find exactly what I needed for my project. The store was well organized, with a good range of products at competitive prices. My order was processed smoothly, and the delivery service was reliable and on time. Overall, the customer service was excellent, and I would definitely recommend Wickes to anyone looking for quality home improvement and building supplies.

I had a very terrible experience with Wickes.
At first the home measurement survey went well, I was booked an appointment 10/05/26, on arrival at Wickes Chadwell heath I was informed that the computer was faulty and they were trying to resolve it. I waited for over an hour but it couldn’t be fixed. I was offered to reschedule and given some discount.
That didn’t sit well with me , so I chose to choose a kitchen design I want, so it can be designed and sent to me via mail in other to reduce my waiting time on my next appointment. I was promised my design would be sent across on the 13/5/26.
There was no follow up email nor any formal apology for what happened on appointment day. I kept chasing my supposed designer for the kitchen design he promised sending on the 13/5/26.
He eventually sent it on the 28/5/26. What he sent was totally different from what I had chosen. I was so disappointed.
I haven’t received this kind of poor service from any company before.
Please you guys should do better.

We are the thankful recipients of the Wickes Community Programme donation to Elm Park Primary School. We gratefully received much needed storage to hold our outdoor toys and resources so that pupils can enjoy imaginative and large scale play, accessing resources independently at lunchtime. Our play scheme relies on donations in order to facilitate play amongst over 420 children on a large scale so the WCP is a fantastic scheme.

From start to finish the process was simple and guided by the lovely Laura Gregory. She was accommodating of suitable dates and times to collect the donations and even helped me to my car and with loading.

We have had a great experience and are thankful to Laura and her team for selecting us!

Excellent service from Mr Jamil Khan at Wickes Chadwell Heath branch. We ordered both our kitchen and bathroom through him and received fantastic advice throughout the process. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and made everything straightforward. There is also a very good discount available at the moment, which made the experience even better.

From the time I entered the Chadwell Heath store, I was treated courteously with respectful and professionally. I was served by Mr Sultan Akabar. He was a very calm, respectful and very passionate about his job. He advised us all the way to completion of the project. He never pressured us or got angry or upset with how many times we would keep changing and editing the project he would be calm under pressure. I have only decided to buy this bathroom because of Mr Sultan Akabar personality the way he works. I am very very impressed with Mr Sultan Akabar. He should get some sort of reward from his employers for his professional attitude to work. Good luck and God bless you in Health, Wealth and happiness. Very helpful and friendly staff

We popped in to look so didn’t have an appointment, we met an extremely helpful sales manager who was very knowledgeable and helped us design our new kitchen more simple and hassle free than we thought the experience would be. Overall the service from start to finish was amazing, we would like to say a massive thank you to Sultan who couldn’t be more helpful, knowledgeable and made our experience enjoyable.

The kitchen department was excellent gave me lots of support and smashed it with the design. I would 100% recommend getting your kitchen done by wickes

WASTE OF TIME & ULEZ CHARGE.
WARNING TO ANYONE PURCHASING THAT ITEM THEY WON'T DELIVER BECUASE IT'S THE LAST OF THE STOCK IN STORE...

As little as 15mins, but probably not... Not worth the effort of your finances and paying for something only to have it tied up for days in refunds instead...

Click & Cancel, not collected because they'd already sold out, wasn't processed quickly and cancelled 35mins later after I'd left to collect it, the store smells like you'll collect norovirus walking in, worrying for a DIY store that they can't even take basic care of the drains...

Yet again disappointed, buy elsewhere unless your there and it's in your hands / on the shelf... They called and checked with other stores, all same story, fictional stock, didn't stop them trying to send me straight there another 30miles round trip and more tolls across the Dart, they'd happily waste your time rather than consider the problem at hand.

King George & Queen's Hospitals Charity reached out to Wickes Chadwell Heath through their 'Wickes Community Programme' WCP Chadwell Heath to ask for their support with a wellbeing garden we maintain at Queen's Hospital for patients, staff and visitors.
Laura Gregory and her team were fantastic and generously donated £95 worth of gardening tools to support our 2 volunteers who maintain the garden. Thank you so much! We really appreciate your support!

We’re incredibly grateful to Wickes for supporting our community garden project through the Wickes Community Programme. As a local charity working with young people with disabilities, this support has made a real difference to the opportunities we can provide.

The programme has helped young people explore their horticulture skills, build confidence outdoors, and enjoy spending time in a welcoming community space. Having access to the right materials and support has allowed the garden project to grow into something truly meaningful for everyone involved.

A special thank you to the team at Wickes Chadwell Heath — especially Laura and Lee, the manager — who were incredibly helpful throughout the process. They went above and beyond to make sure products were ready and helped load everything into our cars, making the whole experience smooth and supportive.
