Wickes - Milton Keynes Avis 

From our first visit to the Milton Keynes showroom to the completed installation the service from Wickes and the installation team has been absolutely fantastic.

Sarah was brilliant in helping us with the design, always suggesting options and answering our questions. Even with our indecision over the final plan nothing was ever too much trouble.

The delivery of the kitchen came when expected and all items were present and in perfect order.

Our Fitters (Richard & Lewis) were the best we could have hoped for. They were polite, clean and always arrived on time. They were absolute stars, always consulting us when required but also sharing their experience to help us make the right decisions. The final kitchen is perfect, fitted to the highest standard.

We used Nathan for our kitchen design. He was absolutely brilliant, guiding us through the whole process and helping us to realise our vision. The installation was a smooth process and the customer service has been excellent. Couldn't fault it.

I always have a positive experience at this store; the staff are very knowledgeable and have always been helpful when I have asked questions, giving great advice and pointing me in the right direction.

We are a local charity and are currently doing up our premises with the aid of the local college . We had brought a lot of paint from your Bletchley branch a young lady at the till and two lads on your customer service they were so helpful a pleasure to shop with them we are senior citizens even took everything to the car Sat 15th . Sunday we had to get the remaining from MK liz served us and again went that extra mile all a credit to your company

Wickes have come such a long way in the last 20 years. Their products are good quality and their pricing is highly competitive. I have been a customer of the Milton Keynes branch of Wickes for almost 12 years, and have always been given a lot of help when sourcing a product, or returning one, or just making a purchase. The staff at Wickes are always very friendly and helpful. In particular, I have always received a totally friendly and professional service from RACHEL, whom always goes that one step further to help. There are times - fortunately not that often - when I have had to return an item, and I'm only too aware that dealing with returns takes up a little more time at the checkout than a normal purchase transaction would , and this might slow the checkout flow for customers waiting. However, all the staff quickly attend to the situation by assigning staff to extra checkouts to alleviate the problem.
The staff are most certainly a huge asset to the Milton Keynes store. Thank you to all.

Cam was excellent from start to finish. I think it really helps that the designer is the person who physically comes and looks/measures the space. It enabled him to make the absolute best of what there was and truly hear what I was looking for. Any hiccups were quickly resolved when part of the delivery was missing. Anthony made constructing a visual of our new bathroom fun, informative and super-fast. Very impressed with the efficiency and friendly manner. We had a kitchen installed a few years ago by Wickes, so choosing them again for our bathroom was a bit of a 'no brainer'! Thank you.

We had our kitchen fitted in 2023 and the worktop (Pati Oak) had started showing water marks/stains. We complained to Wickes in November 24 who sent the complaint to the manufacturers of the worktop. The manufacturers subsequently came back and said it was a customer fault, saying the melamine resin of the laminate surface has been damaged. This occurs when water and dried residue, possibly from cleaning fluid come into contact with each other. This then causes a chemical reaction resulting in damage to the melamine surface! We have never cleaned our worktop with anything other than wiping it over with a damp cloth after washing up! We weren't given any advice/guidance when the kitchen was fitted with regards to the worktop. The supplier has decided all of this from photos rather than actually coming to inspect it. We then took our complaint to the furniture ombudsman who has now said that the burden of proof is on the customer and they have ruled in favour of Wickes/the manufacturer. This is unbelievable service, how can the worktop be fit for purpose if it can't even withstand being wiped over!! The furniture ombudsman have now said we need to get a third party report to be able to take this further. I would not order from Wickes ever again and indeed whatever you do, do not order Pati Oak worktop!!!! It's not fit for purpose and this is just a cop out from the supplier of the worktop. It also seems it's not worth going to the furniture ombudsman either as this was a pointless exercise!!

We got our new kitchen in Winterhill- Milton Keynes last year. We booked our appointment online. Sarah Powell was our adviser and I am very happy that she was! Her customer service was excellent.
She was very helpful and knowledgeable and she went above and beyond. You felt that she cared and that she enjoyed her work. She was very responsive when we needed to contact her via email.
We are planning to add more units this year and it was pleasure to be taken care of by her again today.

So many issues. Poor design, faulty parts, poor labourers and took over a year to resolve during which the smell of sewage was leaking into our upstairs. I would really take caution before going through them. The whole affair has left us emotionally shattered.

I didn't know what I wanted or where to start and Cam came to my house and spent time with me in store helping me to design my bathroom. I got delivered the following week and now it is fitted I am so pleased with it. Better than I imagined.

Ordered a full kitchen installation from Wickes, back in October, they started in November and we are still waiting for them to complete, and presently we haven’t got a date when they will come back to finish.

Have to admit the quality of the kitchen and the installation what they have completed is great, but would warn their customer experience team are next to useless, they just don’t care or know anything.

Really need to point out if you have specialist work done, ie the oven, washing machine. Do go through the initial quote and then the quote from their installer.

I did and there was nearly a 20% difference in work done and what we payed for. I over paid £400 pound to the installer for work not required or not done.

If you report it to the experience team, they then state is down to you to sort or take their installer to the small claims court.

I now say I wouldn’t use wickes and use some else..

P.s we ordered a 24k kitchen from them…

Thankfully we decided on getting our new kitchen & utility from Wickes at Winterhill, where we were guided and supported in our choices by Nathan.
Nathan from the outset when compiling our quote was not only professional and knowledgeable but listened to our requirements, was very patient, kept a sense of humour was easy to communicate with and nothing was to much trouble, even with the various changes and queries. Nathan also kept communications going from start to finish of our project and even helped when we had some minor issues with a couple of items missing, he helped us chase customer service and was not phased when contacted for support. Not only was Nathan great to deal with he went above and beyond his title of Kitchen designer. Thanks Nathan, I would definitely recommend using Nathan to accomplish your dream kitchen.

Nathan had been a great help to us when designing our kitchen and bathroom. We get updates from time to time and whenever we had problems he will help us to fix it. We had a good experience at Wickes with his help and we recommend Nathan if you need a new kitchen or bathroom.

Wanted new utility called in Mk store saw Nathan designer.He called on us within a few days showed us a plan after taking measurements.Went ahead ordered good discounts. Order delivered about 3 weeks .We self fitted no problems very happy with result .Thanks to Wickes and especially Nathan nothing too much trouble for him great customer care.
Would say tried ringing Customer support team over 3 days with a small query they didn't answer phone despite hanging on for hours.Nathan returned from a few days off and sorted in minutes.
