Design and installation went well, just let down slightly by a faulty cistern that took 2wks to resolve.

Timber warps
I am fed up with buying timber from Wickes that warps and twists after a few days in dry storage. I had to set aside 5 8 foot lengths of 2x4 today because of a 20 degree twist from end to end.

It was a good experience for my partner Val Kilmartin,to purchase our kitchen from Wickes.Puspa my designer helped us to choose what was right for us,and make the most of the space we have.
Kenan Kitchens from Coventry were the fitters who did a great job.My kitchen is just what I wanted.

No help offered to carry 8 bags of topsoil to car.
My husband visited the Rugby store today 24th March to purchase 8 bags of topsoil. He was told “help yourself”. My husband is 80 next month and was offered no help carrying the bags to his car. This left him extremely breathless as he has a bad heart. Disgusting

New kitchen
We bought our house and the kitchen was dated and not in a good working order so we decided to make a change, we went to see Calum at Wickes in Rugby who immediately settled our nerves with such a big project and helped us right from the off with all of the information. He then came out and totally designed our kitchen including relocating the cooker area from one side to the total opposite side. Calum arranged everything all we had to do is choose our new kitchen and what we wanted in it, Calum and the team (Marc the project manager/fitter, Gaz the plumber, Aaron the electrician and Gaz the plasterer) completed it with outstanding professionalism. We are extremely happy with the results I’m definitely going back to wickes when I need my bathroom doing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Go to small local shops instead
As it turned out upon delivery 3 massive worktops were delivered uncut and the delivery team was not able help with it at all despite the store assuring us they would. They also said that they won't carry those upstairs as they're too heavy. On top of everything there are missing screws and connectors for all the cupboards we ordered.

Ryan at Rugby branch was excellent
Ryan at Rugby branch was excellent. He quickly grasped what we needed and didn't try to 'upsell'.
Very knowlegeable about things that the average customer might not think about. eg power requirements of double ovens etc. he communicated every step of the way and was very willing to come out and measure up for us. well done and thank you, Ryan
