Wing Mirror Man Avis 

Ordered a wing mirror from this company via buyitonline.co.uk - cancelled the order about an hour later on the telephone with wing mirror man. Then got an invoice. Raised this in the chat through buy it online. They chatted back and said they were the person I had spoken with and a colleague would process the cancellation. Continued to get emails saying the item was on its way to paint store. Mailed buy it online. No response .. contacted wing mirror man. No answer. Got the item delivered. Tried to return. Finally got through to a very rude man at wing mirror man saying I won't be getting a refund as it was painted. Filed a claim. Wing mirror man rejected as it was painted despite evidence of cancellation confirmation. Went through to PayPal - had to claim from buy it online as that's who the payment went to - No option for ' cancelled the item an hour after ordering.so had to file under ' it wasn't the order/ item I was expecting.'. I thankfully had screenshots of the chat where the worker confirmed my cancellation. Eventually buy it online said for me to return the item.. only then for it to come back to me as ' it was a painted item' - the refund still came -

What a joke of a company. Ordered online, then had to wait for a call to take payment?? So, waited, and waited, and waited. Five phone calls, emails etc. Email ignored. Chase up on phone (getting an answer was a lesson in patience) and told (arrogantly) someone would ' reach out' to call for payment. So, three days, and am waiting, waiting, waiting. It's not going to happen. With the same reviews mostly red one star reviews I am intrigued as to how long they can keep trading, with a shambles of a business operation. Definetly arrogant sharks. Avoid at all costs!!

Paid for Royal Mail 24 and the item has still not arrived 3 days later - would not recommend

One of the worst customer service experiences that I have ever had. Customer services agents seem to be trained to undermine customers with legitimate concerns. I was misled about an item I ordered being in stock when it wasn’t. After the date for the subsequently notified restock had passed, I could then get no information from the company when I tried to get a further update despite emails and a phone call to them. I ordered the item on the basis that it was in stock on 19 May. I recently requested a refund by email and via the website and I have also complained about their customer service - I have had no reply. Very very disappointing. A simple and genuine apology from a customer services agent would have gone a long way. Apparently customers have no right to feel aggrieved if an item they have paid for does not arrive as expected, nor should they expect to be given precise information about the extent of any delay.

I ordered a wing mirror cover in metallic blue for my Citroen C1. On receipt of the item it was the wrong colour (glossy blue, not metallic). Every time I call them about it they keep fobbing me off saying they will refer it to the paint team. After months of not getting anywhere I have given up and will sell the cover privately just to get my money back. AVOID this company at all costs!

I really wish i had checked these reviews before I ordered a mirror for next day delivery OVER 2 WEEKS AGO.
Day after order i had email saying there's a 10 day delay and I would be kept updated.
No update, so I emailed again.
No reply so I asked for refund.
NO REPLY! ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF

Order got delayed after over two months I’ve requested a refund and have not received payment as of yet. No one answers the phone and when they do they are rude. The lines open at 9am during the week but the auto recorded message kept saying we are closed and open between 9-5. Finally after half an hour of trying to call I got through to the rudest man I’ve ever spoken to I tried to tell him about my issues of getting through and he was nothing but rude. This is a terrible company and I would never use them again.

ordered 2 items on the same day , first item came in 10 days then had to wait 3 weeks for 2nd item, both item were wrong parts now they will only refund one item as other item is over the 28 day return policy.

Avoid at all costs. Bought a mirror repeater for my Hyundai I10. When the box arrived it was clearly a returned part from a previous customer as the old delivery address had been left on the box.

Upon fitting the part didn’t work and it’s proving impossible to get a refund.

Selecting option 2 for refund enquiries puts you on an endless cycle of hold, after two attempts at waiting over an hour each time I gave up and selected option 1.

The disinterested gentleman on option 1 apparently can’t help with returns.

Despite leaving my name and number several times nobody ever calls back.

The chat facility on the website never works just taking you in an endless loop with the chat bot.

The messaging service through the my account section of the website also goes unanswered.

Am going to need to resort to starting a chargeback from my card provider.

Awful, awful company.

Don’t waste you time ordering wings mirrors from this place literally 90% things they show in stock they are not in stock and they will never contact you after your first pending order they will never give you updates about your order if they miss their timeline and when you call them they look lost themselves and getting refund is nightmare they will never refund you on time u need to go through you bank or other way to just get your money back please look other place for you mirror not this one avoid it they should be banned from uk I don’t get it how they are still running their business

AVOID THIS COMPANY !! I ordered a part for my dad's car on 7th April but then got email to say that they were awaiting incoming stock which could take 10 /14 days. I rang them and the staff are rude and lie ,not a pleasant experience. I rang to cancel order on 6 th may and was again met with rudeness and was told that the refund would be "a couple of days ". It is now the 28th may and no refund! I don't want to ring again because they are so rude, I so will be ringing the bank. Scammers and awful people!

I ordered a wing mirror January the 18th, I got fobbed off for weeks. They told me it's on its way from Manchester to ring again for them to then tell me my part is on a crate coming from Spain. I then asked for a refund which they said they processed which was a lie. I eventually called my bank to investigate this fraudulent company. Within 2 hours of my bank investigating I got my refund. This whole process to 4 months.

have now got judgment for this company will be sending bailiffs in to recover monies

I ordered a car part from this company on March 3rd. The item arrived faulty, so I returned it within 10 days. It’s now May, and I still haven’t received a refund or replacement.
Today, I called customer service to get an update. I was connected with someone named Josh, and I can honestly say it was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I politely asked why the case shows as completed when I haven’t received my refund. Instead of helping, Josh was rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. He told me I "don’t read their messages properly" and acted like I was incapable of understanding basic information. He wouldn't let me speak, and I had to raise my voice just to interrupt him. Shockingly, he shouted at me in return.
This is completely unacceptable. The issue is no longer just about the product—it's about how badly they treat customers. Over two months have passed, and I’m still waiting for my money back. Avoid this company at all costs.

Awful company ordered a wing mirror for it to not be in stock but they didn’t tell me I had to phone up continually to get an update, I then decided to cancel my order and they were to issue a refund 3-5 days! That was 3 months ago I still haven’t received my refund for an item I didn’t get!!! When I call they just fob me off and say it’s been refunded and will email the transaction proof ( which of course I never receive) do not use and awful customer service

Ordered a wing mirror cover for a Fiat Panda. I couldn't source this particular one anywhere else due to the special edition colour - not even from the manufacturer. It needed to be painted so the order took a few extra days but communication was nothing short of excellent - multiple emails advising me on progress over 4 days as well as tracking details once posted. The cover arrived well packaged and was an exact colour match. Very happy and certainly not a scam!

Possible scam.

Ordered wing mirrors from this lot back in December. Didnt hear anything for months, had to chase up order a few times. Company cancelled my order in April. Had to then chase up a my refund multiple times with them having an excuse everytime. In the end I had to dispute the transaction with my credit card company in order to get my money back. I definitely won’t be using this company again and I’d advise others not to.

The main issue was one of timing. The promised delivery was 3-5 working days. The item was no cheaper than the Renault part but the timing of the delivery clinched the deal. In the event the product arrived 10 working days later. That having been said there are no complaints about the product quality or fit.

I ordered a replacement rear light unit. I had used the website Breakerlink (not at fault) and the part was almost immediately offered.
Upon paying for the item (£83.99) I received a confirmation email from BUYITONLINE.LTD, on headed paper for a company called HEADLAMPSDIRECT.
After a few days I called to chase up delivery, and was told that the part was actually not available, and that I would receive a refund.
Then after a couple more weeks with no refund, I again called, but was fobbed off with tosh about the Distant Selling legislation that gives them 28 days to refund. Not true. That only applied if a return is required, but as there was no return involved, then 14 days would be the maximum under the legislation.
So here I am now 41 days since, and have put it into the hands of my credit card provider.

Ordered the mirror and requested it be painted to match the car colour. Took a few extra days for painting but communcation was first class as they kept us informed every step.Mirror arrived in a box well protected by bubble wrap. Perfect condition. Just fitted to the car. Colour matched the car exactly. Top quality service throughout. Very happy with service and product.
