If i could leave no stars I would. I ordered 2 skirts and they were the wrong size. I sent them back for exchange. The Woman Within only gave me credit for 1 skirt in the form of a credit to my account. After calling the customer service line. I was told the refund for the 2nd skirt would refunded to my PayPal account. It never was. This is a fraudulent company that steals your money if you need to return anything. The customer service reps over seas and just read from a script, they can't help resolve anything or they just outright lying.
the order arrived five days after purchasing
have to admit that purchased a pair of shoes, and then looked up the reviews which i normally do prior to spending any money. immediately i reached out to customer service and asked to cancel the order, the rep immediately reassured that the order was in process, well today the order arrived. the quality of the shoe is okay, glad that the experience wasn't fraudulent. maybe they've made some improvements due to the number of negative reviews that are out here on the net.
I Would Not Recommend Them…
I placed an order with Woman Within in August 2025. I received my order, minus two items, in August 2025. The quality of the items was not good, one item arrived damaged. Later, late in September I think, I got a letter from Woman Within saying that they were unable to get payment for an item I had ordered, and that if I did not respond to the letter by calling, they would cancel the order. By this time, I had completely forgotten that two items of my original order had not been sent. Since I had forgotten, I concluded that I did not need them, and therefore, I did not respond to the letter. They would simply cancel the item, and I considered the case to be closed. Yesterday, October 26, 2025, I was checking my bank account information to see whether my property tax payment had cleared my account yet, and discovered that Woman Within had placed a charge against the account used for my property tax payment, for an item that had been backordered (but which I had forgotten I had ordered, and which I had thought they would cancel (since I did not respond to the letter which said that the item would be cancelled if I did not respond). I called them and told them that the account they had charged was SPECIFICALLY for paying my property taxes, and they MUST CANCEL THE ITEM, and they said they can't, but that if I call the next day, someone would cancel it for me. So I called this morning, and was told that, "Sorry, the order is already being processed, so it can't be cancelled, but you can return it once it arrives." I told them that yesterday, I would told that they could cancel it, but they said no, they can't. So I called my bank, but since I had used a debit card, I could not place a stop payment on it. I am a retiree, the money that Woman Within is taking from me was meant to pay my property taxes. I asked them to cancel my account with Woman Within, and they said they're unable to do that. I asked them to delete my bank account information from their system, and they just asked, "Is there anything else I can help you with today?"

tried to PJ's for my wife I HAD a gift card email for $82.89 that got deleted so called customer service they delete from there system so i couldn't use it SO BASICALLY THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND IM JUST OUT THEY CAN'T REPLACE THE EMAIL GIFT CARD

I am having a terrible experience with Woman Within's customer service. I placed three orders recently. Only one order arrived. When I contacted Woman Within's customer service's hot line, they didn't recognize my phone number. When I finally got through to a sales person, she told me my orders will be delivered in December, two months from now. I had to reach out to Woman Within because their communication with me is terrible. They didn't tell me my orders would take two months to be delivered. All they care about is money, and if I was going to spend more money buying their products. I said no. I just want all of my items to be delivered. What bothers me the most about the company is their lack of communication skills. They should have sent me an email or a text message stating that my order will be delivered late. This is not the only issue I had with the company. They didn't tell me one of my orders was canceled until I looked at my account. I just wish their communication with me was better.
Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible. I have been waiting for a call back for 3 days. I placed an order on October 14, 2025. The agent suggested I cancel the order and reorder to add another item to my order. She canceled my order; the prices increased hen I tried to reorder. I have been calling for 3 days. I have been on hold for 3 hours total. They stated they called me and I did not answer. I have not received any calls from them. I requested a supervisor; he was worse than the previous agent. I still do not have a resolve. No one still hasn't contacted me 3 days later. The customer service is horrible. They don't listen, and they keep asking the same questions. This has been an awful experience.
Woman Within Doesn't Need to Stay In Business!
New customer. Placed order on 10/07/2025. Today I received a letter stating, "Your bank declined." I checked, and there is no record of a WW transaction on, before, or after 10/07/2025.
Earlier in the week, I received a postcard apologizing for a delay/backordered item. The "new" ETA is 10/29/2025. I didn't cancel, and I was willing to wait.
I called Customer Service and reached a robot. No option to speak with a live agent. Therefore, I am giving this company one star.
I will not order from them again. I don't recommend anyone doing business with them — and now I understand why they have so many negative reviews!
Summary: Poor service. Dishonesty. I'll shop with a competitor.
Slow and expensive shipping
I placed my order 10/5 and as of today 10/13 I still do not have my items. I paid $24.95 for shipping!
I just did an extended chat with them and they did not apologize or offer me anything to help me. Just made excuses and said try them again. Absolutely will not. I can't even say if the clothes are acceptable as I don't have them.
Money loss
I thought I will save on sale- but I lost LOTs of money. I would spend less in retail stores at the end. I lost soo much time and have bad anxiety dealing with their custumer service...
Sizing is totally wrong on MANY items. It IMPOSSIBLE wear them. They charge LARGE shipping fee to get staff. Fee to return $10.99 PER ORDER! I had couple orders, so return process fee was about $54!!!!!Custumer service is horrible. It feels like you are speacking with the wall. They are not willing resolve issues.
I got $25 membership to lower high shipping cost, and even with membership it cost about $5. But discount wasn't appliyed to my order! I had to contact them so many times to get my discount.
I retuned some items, paid $10.99 fee, they sent staff back to me with the note that I missed the deadline. Refused give store credit. Why I was able to print the return label then for these items?? I e-mailed to clarify how it was calculated that I missed 60 days - they ignored my questions and their answer was just copy of their return policies. They do it it a lot- ignoring questions. Well, they was able to cause me big loss one time, but I learned my lesson and will not be shopping with them again.
Their credit card is also pretty bad expirience- I have credit score above 700. The first credit line was $300. I got it just get their promised discounts- I have money and I have another credit cards. This credit line felt like slap in the face compairing with another credit cards I have. Also, worst APR EVER! About 35%
Also, I forgot that this new card is not on autopay. $30 late fee. I paid soon, set autopay and asked return late fee (first), they returned only $15.

I am just adding to the chorus of terrible reviews. They lowered the price of my item after I bought it, then I returned it and they refunded me only the lowered price. I talked to them and they tried to say it was a $10.99 return fee. Shady!!!!!
Just unbelievable
Just unbelievable. I never received an item from a March order. The company claims it was delivered in May and must be paid for. It was 16dollars! I have not paid while I wrote and called to dispute. The Community Bank Woman Within charges 40dollars A month late fee, so now it has turned into 90 dollars! And they did a default report to Transition which lowered my credit score 102 points!!! For one lost pair of sweatpants. I started buying from them in the 1980s, and THIS is too much. I buy hundreds of dollars each year and every cent fully paid. I am so mad I could spit. I really do like their petite plus casual clothes, and would like better treatment over this stupid mistake. Not my doing!!!
Total Ripoff Company -DO NOT BUY
Do not buy anything from this company. Every single pair of pants in a regular women's size the inseam is 31 and 1/2 inches. All other clothing manufacturers the inseam is 30 inches. So every pair of pants will always be too long and too big in the legs. And if you want a refund you can get a full refund for the full amount that you paid in a gift card to buy more of their trashy clothing is all missized. But if you don't take the gift card, they will charge you $10.95 to ship their crappy clothing back to them. So on a $18 item I got a credit for $6.40.

NO REFUND!
I returned two shirts that did not fit. Woman Within would refund my money only if bought more of their merchandize. I did not need anything, so they are still keeping my money. I request a refund by the method I used to pay for the shirts, but they don't refund money that way, so I get NO REFUND. They were paid $62.60 for the merchandize and only refund $46.72 of that money, which means they automatically keep 25% of my money. I won't ever buy anything from Woman Within again.

I placed an order and never received it. When I called they told me they could see that it was never shipped but I still had to wait 21 days before they could issue a refund. I called back after never receiving the refund and was told it was issued but they did not have a confirmation number. Total scam
Company is a scam
I ordered a bra in my normal size but the one that arrived was way to big. I started the return process and was shocked! In order to get a refund they want to charge me a restocking fee $10.99 on a $25.43 purchase! The only way I can get a full refund is to accept a gift card. This company is a total scam. I will find something less likely to be wrong with this gift card and then I will NEVER buy from this company again.
Absolute joke of a retailer
I ordered two pairs of pants for an upcoming trip to Europe. As I am 6' tall and nearly no one carries pants long enough to fit me in brick and mortar stores, I have no choice but to shop online (completely unfair but that's a topic for another day).
I placed my order on 9/15 and needed my order before 9/28. That was just under two weeks and it is reasonable to expect that my order would arrive on time.
Four days after my order, two days longer than customer service said it would take the order to be shipped, I get an email saying that one pair of pants in my order has shipped. Five days later, the second pair still has not. I check with customer service again only to find out that the second pair of pants won't ship until the end of November!! I asked to have the order canceled and the customer service rep offered me 10% off if I will wait TWO MONTHS for the shipment!
That is absolutely ridiculous. When I said so, the rep explained that that pair of pants were a "promotional" item that was only on pre-sale. Well, at no point in in my purchase process did anything ever indicate to me that those pants wouldn't be immediately available.
This has been a garbage customer service experience all around. I had the second item canceled. The first item will be returned if it isn't a good fit and in good condition and I will NEVER waste my time and money on this joke of a company again.

Junk Company
Only because this company & its brands offer women's plus size clothing at reasonable prices can it exist. The fabrics are cheap. Construction is often sloppy. The sizes are not true and run large. Shipping and handling is high. Shipping is very slow. Returns have gotten better. For a free return, bring it to a Happy Returns drop off. The return is only free if you choose to get a gift card. Out bound shipping costs are not refunded. And be very aware of almost automatic joining the Loyality Club. Pay $24.99/year and get flat shipping rate of $4.99 and small discount on qualifying purcjases. I wish plus size women had a good alternative.
Unauthorized deceptive charges
Oct or so of 2023 I ordered a Christmas gift for someone. Imagine my surprise when I started receiving charges for $16.95 for their membership which I never requested. Many phone calls, emails and chats later I get no where. Never recieved refund or cancelation. Never recieve confirmation email of cancelation. Today I finally do. Claim I will get refund for 11 months. We shall see. Should get for 19 months. Beware of website. The box to join membership is automatically checked for you. Such deception. (the email address for cancelation is also not legit)I am reporting this company to everyone. Consumer affairs, BBB, Attorney General ect.
