Weather Underground Avis 98

As many here seem to have said already, this once was a good resource but has evolved to a total waste of time. (with a side order of disgust if one is stupid enough to stubbornly try and use the site) Now, I don't understand why it wouldn't provide temperatures in a system that is recognized in the country one is looking for temperatures in. It's been metric in canada long enough now that youngsters might very well not even know what fahrenheit is, let alone what the gibberish implies. I quit using their pathetic site years ago as it took ages to load, then reload, (fingers crossed) then often start over if you were foolish enough to click anything as it would reset to the moronic fahrenheit system again. Sometimes it wouldn't even be possible to utilize most of it's ability as you'd spend ages in that idiotic loop and get nowhere. Now it seems like it not only is still using fahrenheit, but ignoring attempts to switch to metric. It just slowly reloads the same stupid garbage. I think they should hire somebody with at least an IQ higher than in the teens and try to make their site of at least a little value

Intellicast WAS my "go to" weather choice for approximately the last 20 years.
Since Wunderground 'absorbed' Intellicast - the web site is so completely ABYSMAL it's not even worth trying to bring up a map!

Pages load slower than DIAL UP from the mid 1990s!

If Yall are not completely EMBARRASSED and ashamed of this sad excuse for a modern day weather site - You SHOULD be!!!

What happened to Intellicast??? I've been an Intellicast fan for years and years, and just deleted the site from my bookmarks and removed the app from my phone. The successor app to Intellicast, Weather Underground is terrible! Nothing loads quickly, it drops inquiries, my local conditions are less accurate, as I used to get very accurate forecasts as they were using data from 4 or more local reporting stations. I guess they dropped those in favor of a single station in a valley on the other side of my local mountains. (Weather in my valley is different than the site of this other one.) The 10 Day Forecast has not worked since Wunderground took over several weeks ago. This change reflects greed, poor management, bad strategy, and sub-standard programming talent; nothing less than a bad sell out. This new site sucks!! Looks like I have to find a new source. Hopefully Accuweather is the one. Very disappointed in the new WU. VERY!

I've been a paid member of WU and have had a problem with a setting on the site for months. I've emailed "support" a number of times, describing the issue and asking them to fix it. All I've ever received is an automated reply "Thank you for taking the time to write to us. Our team has received your email and will be reviewing it shortly." And that's the end of it. No reply about my issue, nothing. And the problem still exists. I'm all done with WU and the Weather Channel. There's too many other options out there when it comes to getting online weather forecasts. Don't waste your time or money with Weather Underground or The Weather Channel.

VERY POOR CREDIBILITY OF WX. Way too often, when I'm on the "site" for Jones Beach, NY.... whenever I click on the map....it takes me over 400 miles north to Buffalo, NY. In my home town in Long Island, it gives the temp in numbers that are nuts. (135 F to 32 degrees F in summer. My other concern is contacting them to let them know. Their "reporting" menu is useless (giving obvious ways to achieve what's needed) and keep going in circles to write something, when clicking on "Contact us", "Feedback", 'report a problem. THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T CARE ABOUT CORRECTING INPUT FROM CONSUMERS.

This used to be my go-to weather website but over the last year it has become almost unusable. Between the pop-ups, adds, and the radar always being down when there's rain around, the site and app are completely pointless and a waste of time. Two thumbs down

Weather underground was the best weather reporting site for years. Now it is not. Slow to load. The “Amazon winner” corrupted site is essentially useless. There are now many better sites

Weather Underground provides a valuable service, but it has become almost unusable. This morning it took the site a minute and a half to fully load due, I suppose, to the the many, many advertisements. I sympathize with the need to sell ads, but WU is shooting itself in the foot. It is very true that we, the clients, are the product not the customer!

I have found Weather Underground to be useful, especially since it provides weather predictions from home station close to my location. However, they recently changed my homestation to a more distant station. Three attempts to get help from them through their customer service site have gone unanswered. Customer service seems non-existent.

Update, January, 2020: Things have improved at WU in that I am now able to customize my local station report to fit my needs. I have not tried to reach customer service, so can't speak to that. I continue to find the weather reports and outlooks to be quite accurate. Upgraded from 2-star to 4-star.

Without any warning, a wonderful interactive website, WUNDERGROUND, changed most of the functionality of the main feature. I have been a member for years, and a paid member as long as it's been offered. The new map is unresponsive, rigid, useless. I am completely disgusted by the new owners of this site, weather.com
I asked for a refund, and was told I would have it in two days. It's now been two weeks, and when I contacted 'help', I got a snotty answer from 'WunderWilliam' who informed me that in fact, I was not going to get a refund, and if I didn't like it, I could use the link he provided to the old, completely disconnected, page. I am so angry at this ripoff I will review this at every opportunity.

UPDATE: I combed the site and finally found an email address for the founder of Wunderground. The program is truly degraded from the previous service, and when I sent an email to Jeff Masters, he refunded my money immediately. The Wundermap is still not working correctly, or at all, as far as I can tell. If they fix it, and Jeff is still involved, I will sign back up. It used to be the best map anywhere, and I am a total weather nut, and I MISS IT!!!!!!

This is possibly the best weather website ive come across. It has loads of information and the weather station list shows all weather stations on your area with "rapid fire" updates so you can see the exact temp/humidity/wind speed at the current time. Also the data is viewable on graphs to compare the increases/decreases throughout the day and you can fiew history on the graphs too. I would recommend bookmarking this and using is as your main weather site.
