Upon doing research for a comprehensive scan tool, I settled on a well received model from a competitor. To my dismay and undocumented in the advertisement I found myself looking at a login screen that could not be dismissed just to scan a vehicle. Emailed tech support and indeed you must me logged in via an internet connection just to do a basic scan. Ridiculous! Back on the search, I came across folks recommending the Youcanic UCAN-II-C Pro, I contacted their support which responded quickly with no endless phone menu. The rep answered my questions confirming no Wi-Fi needed for normal code or data viewing, some secure functions and AI support as well as updates require login which is to be expected. I can say hands down, their support staff is excellent and I am a happy owner of a second well made and functional scanner only this one does not bleed you to death $$$ like the tool truck brand does and has become my go to for quick checkups and ease of use. Kudos for doing a great job at a reasonable price. I’m waiting on the Videoscope to be back in stock next week to add that gem to the scanner! Buy this tool, you’ll be glad to have it in your stable. USA based support that answers the phone AND any questions you have. Lifetime updates too! Hard to beat.

Excellent service and very good products. I also have the XTOOL d8w and Thinkscan 689. The Youcanic scanner is the one I normally use because of its coverage and scanning functions. It also has free updates. The support is excellent, fast respons and very helpful.

My tesla model X 12V battery issue triggered a safety lockout that disabled the main battery entirely. Tesla wanted a month wait and $450 plus a tow. Options were a $150/month subscription or a $2,300 scanner. I found the Youcanic Pro for $370 with a return policy.. One script matched error W026, the relays snapped, and the car came back to life. As a professional mechanic, Youcanic is of the best scanners for the money. Supports Volvo, Porsche, BMW, Benz, and Bentley, covers wide range of modules with live data and bidirectional control. No yearly subscription, which is rare at this level. ECU and key coding still requires a dealer, but that is true of most scanners even 1k+

The scanner paid for itself immediately by diagnosing a bad ABS sensor, saving $2,700. It also diagnosed a bad clock spring, another ABS sensor, and a cold weather no start.

I own Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, and Lexus vehicles and used to pay exorbitant dealer diagnostic fees. Those days are over. This tool paid for itself after just a couple of scans and service resets. Diagnostic tool UCAN-II quickly solved ABS and coolant sensor issues, saving time and money.

I had ABS, Traction control, and Hill assist lights on and took it to the dealer for diagnostics. Got my youcanic, ran the scan myself, and it was spot on. Did the repair myself and saved $1,200 in labor plus $296 in diagnostic fees. It also pulled more codes than the dealership showed me. Do not wait. Buy one now and start saving money.

OBD2 scanner is a game changer, easy to use and worth every penny. It provides comprehensive diagnostics, including live data reports and system activation, for various car models.

Mercedes owners beware.
I wasted $508 INC TAX, in July 2025 on a Youcanic scanner, model YOUCANIC UCAN-II-C PRO.
One strong reason for this was to plan a brake flush on my 2011 Mercedes'.
Now in December 2025 I tried everything to bleed the ABS system of air as per the scanner option.
After multiple emails with Youcanic Customer support who were less than helpful, they told me the scanner can’t bleed my car ABS system.
Their 31 days return window was closed and they told me to sell it on eBay as they would not refund my money.
My recommendation is that if you own a Mercedes do not buy this Youcanic Scanner. And also be wary of their marketing which states things that it cannot do.
I regret buying this.”

So, you can see I’m now upset with the scanner, annoyed at your customer service.

So far it does exactly what I need. The real time data is very useful. I was needing to see what wheel speed sensor was not working and viewing live wheel speed showed which sensor was not working.

Saves trips to the dealer for diagnostics and maintenance that you can do yourself. After careful consideration and research, I chose YOUCANIC and you should to! I called 4 of the big scan tool manufacturers and found the majority were all manufactured in basically the same location. However, YOUCANIC had a significantly different approach to solving malfunctions focused on the end user with how to assistance and minimizing out of pocket cost after purchase. No annual subscriptions, instant access to diagnostic reports, videos, one on one troubleshooting assistance and more. I fixed all the issues with my son’s car in a week after purchase and the cost savings covered the cost of the unit, now each additional is money in the bank. You can spend more for the same functionality so long as you pay associated fees year after year and settle for lackluster performance or you can skip that, get customer support directly from people who just want to help you get back on the road. Buy the YOUCANIC, save money, and be pleasantly surprised.

The best bi direction full system scanner in the market. Better option than Autel, Launch or iCarsoft. Best support in the scan tool industry. I had an issue with the WIFI connectivity with the device upon first use. I called support and went trough a couple rounds to trouble shooting before they sent me a new one without cost to me. Support was quick.

Bought the Youcanic Ucan-II-C to use on various car's, so far I have tested it on a 02 GMC Envoy and an 06 BMW E66.I was able to quickly diagnose and find all issues and do the appropriate repairs and successfully clear the code for each repair. Very pleased with this purchase! The build quality is very durable and should easily last a long while. Good performance for low wait times, I was surprised how quick it completes each task. Also like the support options while connected to wifi for each code that appear, if you need this is handy. Video scope works great and does capture. Wireless OBD is also nice for working under the hood+ live data options. I definitely recommend Youcanic full diagnostic scan tool, Amazing Features and Amazing Support for an Amazing price. The best scanner on the market in terms of price and functionality, the tool is most capable of handling any level job from novice to professional and is supported over a wide range of vehicles. One of the most useful tools I have ever purchased. Youcanic is great company.
