I received a letter as a 'regular national lottery player'. I don't play the lottery so immediately spotted not necessarily a scam, but a subtle way of pulling people in to regular, and possibly unaffordable, gambling. Persuading people to sign up by offering rewards and being nice on the phone rather than a hard sell. There is information publicly available about the company's profits on the Companies House website which shows they are doing very well from this strategy.

Upon calling, ten free lines, in a syndicate of fifty players, are granted to the caller, without any prerequisites and at no cost for the customer, as advertised. Any winnings above £2.00 per person are fully distributed to the winners. In order to be able to communicate with the customer and to fulfil the legal obligations of required minimum age of 18, we ask the callers for personal information like name, address and date of birth. No bank details are asked or noted. The customers do receive all details about their Free Lines by post or email within 3 working days after the call, in time for the draw they participate in. There are no further calls or emails to these customers unless they win and no costs involved.
When a customer calls to register, all consultants are then able to invite the customer to participate in different professional syndicates, which will involve costs. These syndicates are based on the UK lotteries, and customers can play over 1,000 lines a month on a subscription basis. Lottery tickets are purchased from a UK Lottery operator. In this case, we also ask the customer for payment details. The initial play period is for 3 months and Customers can give notice to cancel up to 14 days prior to the next play period. All details about the purchase inclusive of the information about the
14-day cooling off period are sent to the customers by post.

Spammers with a grift-like business.
Spam. Grift-like business. Avoid. Check with your grandparents/parents that they are not being targetted too as that's part of their 'grift' to get people to sign up to regular payments for a 'syndicate'. In my opinion this is an extractive business that no one should use.
They've written to me (unsolicited) many times now, with the wrong name(!), misspelled address, claiming I'm a "loyal customer" when I've never used them.
The misspelled name and address also indicates they've used offshore services to get around data protection.

Alarm bells !
Reading T&Cs, for the free lines to be valid you need to register with them. Your name,d.o.b
gender, phone number, and in case you decide to purchase a subscription, your bank details, this is 3.1.in their T&Cs. The letter I received says they will only need your bank details if you win over £2, so for that reason I’m out.
