Exceptional seafood!
We ordered bluefin akami, bluefin chu toro, Loch Duart salmon, and Ora King salmon from Yama Seafood. Everything arrived frozen solid in insulated packaging and was clearly handled with care. The thawing instructions were accurate and easy to follow.
This was our first time making sushi rolls, hand rolls, nigiri, and poke at home. The results were exceptional. The Ora King salmon was rich, buttery, and incredibly clean tasting. The chu toro had a smooth, luxurious texture. The akami was firm and bright and worked perfectly for rolls and poke.
The quality honestly exceeded our expectations. It was some of the best sushi we have ever had, even better than our favorite local sushi spot. We will absolutely order again.

FRESH!! Worth the cost.
I bought the uni for a close friend. It's one of his absolute favorite foods, especially the California variety. It arrived on the day it was promised, and he said it was extremely fresh and high quality. It made an excellent gift.

Delivered on every front!

Continues to be excellent!
Ordered otoro, salmon belly, eel, rice, tamago, and a couple of other items. All was excellent.
It would be helpful to include directions for making sushi rice. I found a recipe on the website, but it took some hunting to find it.
We had a great dinner and the next day left-overs were excellent. We have ordered from Yama before, and we will continue to order from Yama!!

Everything arrived frozen, I messaged customer service immediately but no response. This is the second time this has happened. I don't think I'll order from this company again.
