I used this for Hajj in May on a 20GB Saudi Arabia plan. I bought it in the app before flying and installed it after landing. It worked first time and connected to STC.
Standing in Mina, my wife's data ran out and I bought her a 10GB top-up on my phone right there. It went through on the spot.
On the day we landed, a woman stranded at the airport with no connection bought a plan over my hotspot and was online within minutes as well.
Signal held everywhere we went: Madinah, Makkah, Mina and Arafat.
Buy more data than you think you need. Hotel wifi was patchy and we were on mobile data most of the time even in the room.

I used Yatelo for my recent trip abroad and was really impressed. The eSIM activation was super fast and straightforward, had cellular data up and running within minutes of landing without messing around with physical SIM cards. Data speeds were consistently reliable throughout my holiday, and the rates were much cheaper than standard international roaming. Highly recommend it for anyone traveling!

I was in Glasgow sometime in July and it came in very handy. Initially I had a bit of an issue with setting up but I realized it's due to the hotel WiFi I was connected to but I needed it for seeing the city. Aside that, I would recommend any day any where.

Reliability an issue, support team a headache
Bought the global eSIM for my trip in Anguilla. Worked for the first day and then stopped working. Very annoying as we needed data for directions etc.
Equally as annoying was the support team. I was given the run around and no refund offered. After several days the best I was offered was half my money back.
You won’t get what you paid for and you’ll end up having to do a chargeback with your bank. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother with them.
Edit: As you can see from the response the most they’ll do is offer you some money back, no offer for a full refund even though the promised service wasn’t rendered. This has only been offered after several days of back and forth. Absolute headache, really not worth wasting your money or time.

While Yatelo provides the eSIM platform, data delivery relies on local telecommunications networks. Because these local carrier factors are outside our direct control, unexpected disruptions can occasionally happen.
We are fully familiar with your case, and in line with our policy for this specific issue, the unused portion of the data package has since been processed as a partial refund directly back to your credit card.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a good first time experience so I won’t be using this e-sim again.
I got the e-sim for Albania cos an IG influencer recommended it. I set it up as instructed, but when I needed to use it, I would always have to switch it off and on and then it would work for a couple minutes and then stop working!
I did this for up to 50 times or more. Since I was on holiday, it meant that I had to do this constantly whenever I was out of my hotel and away from WiFi.
It was truly frustrating. I don’t like to write bad reviews but your customer support didn’t help either.

I used the Yatelo app to buy an eSIM for Peru. During the purchase, I had €2 of credit available in my account, but it was not applied to the order. After contacting support, they simply added the €2 back to my account instead of refunding it to the original payment method, which was disappointing.
Another issue is the network quality. The advertised network was Claro, but in reality my eSIM connects almost all the time to Entel, which has been very poor in my experience. Coverage and signal quality were bad in many places during my trip in Peru.
Overall, the service did not match what was advertised, both regarding the network and the handling of the billing issue.

Regarding the €2 Credit: Our system is designed to apply account credit at the checkout stage. When it was missed, our team immediately restored the credit to your Yatelo account for future use. While we understand you preferred a card refund for this amount, restoring the credit to the account is our standard process for small balance adjustments.
Regarding Network Coverage: In Peru, we provide access to multiple major networks, including Claro, Movistar, and Entel. Your device will automatically switch to the strongest available signal in your specific location to ensure you stay connected. While Entel is a major provider in Peru, signal strength in specific rural areas can fluctuate based on local topography and tower proximity.
We aim to provide the best possible roaming experience and appreciate your feedback on the coverage in the regions you visited. If there is anything else we can assist with, please let us know.
Wrong carrier in peru
I am currently traveling in Peru with a group of 4 people. We all bought Yatelo eSIMs. While my friends and wife (all on Android) are perfectly connected to the Claro network (as advertised), my eSIM is stuck on Movistar with zero coverage in rural areas.
Despite proving that the issue is specific to my ICCID (rejections by the local carrier) and having performed every possible reset on my Pixel 8, support refuses to simply issue a replacement eSIM. They admitted a routing issue ('Emtel' instead of 'Claro') but won't take the 30 seconds required to generate a new QR code. Instead, they offered 'store credit' which is useless when you are stuck in the mountains without the promised network.
If you are traveling in Peru and need reliable coverage on Claro, be careful: if your eSIM is defective, Yatelo support will leave you stranded rather than helping you. Order e364a9c8-046e-47d3-a520-4f040e44df83.

Our support team worked with you to perform all available troubleshooting, but as we explained, network selection is ultimately managed by local providers and cannot be 'forced' by a new eSIM profile once a device is active on a partner network.
We offered a refund for your unused data to resolve the matter fairly, as we cannot guarantee specific tower priority in rural regions. We appreciate the technical feedback regarding the routing and will share it with our Peruvian partners.
eSIM stop working, they didn't fix it

I wasted about 40 minutes with their online support, they suggested endless things to try, none of them got the eSIM working again. They then refused to refund the money, saying they were escalating to the engineers.
