The service Yellow Jersey Cycle Insurance rendered to me was outstanding. Their replies on my questions were fast and they always answered my questions to the fullest!
I highly recommend them!

Got injured just injured a couple of weeks before the Kalmar Ironman race. Withdrew and handed in my claim, got a swift reply with some relevant follow-up questions. No fuzz and money in the bank a week later. I could have saved another 25% of the entry fee if I had read the Ironman terms more carefully and withdrawn a couple of days earlier but I wanted my to have my medical certificate at hands (IM had an exception for the 2024 races, 7-days prior to the race instead of 45 would give you a 25% refund), hard to spot but my own fault and can't blame Yellow Jersey for it.

The claims process was very straightforward and painless following a minor crash. I had a named claims manager, Jonathan, who dealt with my claim swiftly and professionally and gave me several fair and clearly explained options for how it could be settled (part cash settlement and part replacement of damaged equipment). The process was completed in under two weeks. This was my first time claiming on any insurance and I had expected far more friction, but I am very satisfied.

Yellow Jersey invited me to leave a review following the conclusion of my claim but did not influence the content or offer any incentive.

Recent claim after an injury meant I couldn’t run a triathlon I had booked. They were fabulous - super easy and efficient service and incredibly patient even when my GP took weeks to provide the medical note needed. Would definitely use again!

Very pleased with service received following a theft from my e-bike. Claim process was simple and found myself dealing with real people who were knowledgeable and helpful. As the e-bike control unit was stolen from the handlebars, they offered to send me a higher spec unit with a removable display. It arrived within a couple of days and I got it fitted at my local bike shop.

I was in an accident on my bike, insurance paid out and were very helpful when resolving my claim.

Having endured a serious accident whilst riding in the Alps, the claims process was straightforward and stress free. A great deal of flexibility was shown by my claims handler, and it was clear that having my cover with a specialist who understood my equipment and circumstances helped to eliminate any of the usual frustration that high can be had when dealing with a generic insurer.
The service was genuinely first class.

I had to return a D-lock I’d bought at the time of taking out my insurance and as soon as it arrived with Yellow Jersey I received a personalised email (a) to thank me for sending it back and (b) to say that my refund would be with me within a few days.
This may sound like a mundane story of no real consequence, but this kind of customer service is sadly lacking in the modern digitised/bot-heavy world where human contact is overlooked in favour of ‘chats’ and interminable ‘FAQs’, both of which are largely useless.
So I commend Yellow Jersey highly for their sensitivity and for putting an efficient and friendly face to the corporate facade.
Also, it gives me great faith that, should I need to make a claim in the future, it will be handled with equal efficiency and empathy.

I had a fantastic experience dealing with Yellow Jersey for my insurance claim. Although it took some time to collect the necessary evidence and get everything in order, the team was incredibly knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. My claim wasn't an easy one, given the nature of multiple bikes at loss, but they handled it with great care and efficiency.

Yellow Jersey is the insurance company anyone who has invested in their bike should go with. They are reliable and genuinely pay out claims when issues arise.

Yellow jersey team were super responsive and understood my circumstances in advance of an event which I had been training for for a long time. Having the right insurance with people that understand their clients needs means in circumstances like this they have your back and get it. Thoroughly recommend yellow jersey for athletes and anyone needing good insurance cover.

Yellow Jersey were excellent. I had to pull out from Outlaw Nottingham due to a knee injury and they sorted everything really quickly. Even when I didn't have one of the required forms they worked with me to find another form of evidence in order for me to get my refund for the event. The response times were really quick and the handlers were really helpful. Thank you.

Quality insurance provider. Very responsive and personal communication outside of website if needed. Have used twice and will do many more times.

Despite being an "award winning site" sadly the company website and its ambigous wording and definitley some issues with the application, should have been a warning for myself

My ebike was stolen and despite my circumstances that would have been covered by other insurance companies the claim was not covered.

I am awaiting for a full refund for the insurance as they mentioned that they would not have insured the bike, if I filled the online procedure properly. This is definitely a sign of bad "User Experience" which means that it would be misleading to future customers, hence why I am writing this review to make sure that this does not happen again to other customers

The need for EPAC compliancy is paramount for this policies and a very restricted left bike alone clause which is only an hour is not relatable for commercial and business use for customers using their ebikes, There is also a speed restrictions for the policy which is not clear or misleading when you apply for the insurance

The emails were polite and professional and as mentioned I am awaiting some kind of refund however this does not cover no where the near the loss of £850 which was not my fault, as the bike was stolen by a thief sawing through a bike complient parking spot, which apparently still does not cover the bike been stolen

My reccomendation is triple check the policy wording which is vague and small enough to be missed. If you feel you will be leaving your bike for more than an hour or your bike is not limited to 15 mph which most bikes are not, then this is definitely not the insurance policy to use

I am in the process of making a more formal complaint so that they will improve there wording, user experience. They were not rude however we only have had email correspondence

I would suggest that people approach this insurance company with caution

the claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently in a fair manner.

However, I do think that insurers could make it more clear as to what a claimant will need to provide in advance of making a claim. It would have been useful to know as at the heat of the moment of the claim you would not always think about all of these things. Whilst it did not affect my claim some flexibility should be provided on this basis.

Unfortunately had to claim for race withdrawl. My claim was dealt with within two hours, extremely rapid response, courteous and prompt result. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Yellow Jersey
