Great service. Initial chat with Lee confirmed my choice of streamer. Had to wait as no stock, but informed when in. A slight problem with price but sorted quickly and without an issue. Have recommended already.

After looking for Electrostatic Headphones I came across Yorkshire AV LTD who are selling some amazing hifi costing ££££s. What I found was a pair of headphones by Mitchell and Johnson for £59 - and yes, they are electrostatic and sound amazing. They arrived "in two days and after trying them out I got back in touch with them and bought a second pair! Exceptional quality and performance,from both the phones and Yorkshire AV. 10/10 for service and quality.

BE PREPARED FOR A LONG REVIEW, on the 12th of feb decided to buy some focal stellia headphones , unfortunately for me, after seeing what I thought was a good buy has turned out to cause me nothing but stress, so I ordered what was an unused set , at a great discount but often when things are too good to be true then that’s the case, bought online and got them a day or so later, what came was clearly a used set, I have pictures to prove it, I called YORKSHIRE AV , said and I quote, I don’t know how this has happened on his daughters life he and someone else had inspected them before being sent to me, clearly lies which is the case throughout, ok then we l get them collected the next day, a brand new pair, probably to shut me up, anyway after chasing them up ended up the day after the promised day, which was to be the day the others were to be sent out, but no they waited to get the others back and Saturday I got a DPD non existent tracking number and an email which basically disagreeing but told me I’d gotten a bargain with the new ones, I could have left it at that but I don’t like been called a liar so I replied and said I stood by my claims but I appreciated everything, so no tracking update from DPD which we all know they contact you when they have a parcel for you, which should have been here now, I have called about 60 times, left messages, I have emailed and obviously they are ignoring me which is fine but very unprofessional, so now I am £2203.05 down, I have no headphones and no one is replying to anything, as I have told them this is basically theft, my money and no product, unless maybe they are at the funeral, I know what’s happening, they sent the headphones out without inspection and thought whoever they went to would not be bothered but I want what’s stated not what they think, I have never dealt with this company before and never will again, nothing but thieves and I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK, and when I do if I still have passion after all this I will buy from PETER TYSON which is what I should have done as they are what you would hope a decent retailer would be,you can judge for yourselves if I can upload the pictures , PAYPAL NOW INVOLVED so I can get my money back, what a disgrace***FURTHER TO YOUR REPLY, if you hadn’t told lies from the start I would not have purchased the said earphones if I had seen the state of them, I purchased the same from Peter Tyson and the difference was night and day, I actually emailed them the pictures to make sure this didn’t happen again, the refund took longer because I had to raise a dispute with PayPal because you failed to contact which you said in a further email to me afterwards that your website was down which I was emailing and calling direct like I had, at the end of the day you told lies, I have all the pictures and emails to back everything up, and if you hadn’t I wouldn’t have had to waste my time, best thing you could have done was admit you were wrong , refund end of, no reviews from trustpilot but you keep on like a dog with a bone and I know the truth and that’s what matters to me, I have said all I need to now so just go do what you do and put the bone down

You can tell a good company by what they do when something goes wrong. Something did, and Lee was really responsive and sorted it out quickly.

I’d have no hesitation in using them again.

When you're spending a fair bit of cash on equipment, it's great to be able to speak to someone who knows their stuff and gives you the right advice. Lee replied promptly to my query and was really helpful in choosing my speakers. Very pleased with them!
This is why I go to small, independent retailers. I can thoroughly recommend these guys.

Very happy & pleasant experience at Yorkshire AV. I have to say that Lee is a top man, was very helpful from the very 1st time we spoke via email. Managed slot me in for a demo at such short notice. If you are wanting to have a demo, there demo-rooms are excellent, let me tell you, I literally was blown away. Really impressive! They have such good knowledge of anything Audio/Video related. They managed to get me a product that had just come out and he was the first to have it in the UK, also was the cheapest & most competitive then anywhere else. Can't really say much more, but that these guys really will go above and beyond your expectations!

I called the store before ordering and found the gentleman I spoke with to be very knowledgeable, not pushy and wanting to help. The item I wanted was not in stock, but they arranged for a direct shipment from the distributor. Speaker arrived next day and I’m really happy with it. I bought a Pro-Ject power box from Yorkshire AV to go with a Pro-Ject tube box phono stage I also bought from Yorkshire AV last year. Both products work together brilliantly and Lee at Yorkshire AV let me listen to several different phono stage devices before I chose one.

This purchase was only for a Audioquest 2m XLR balanced cable but the price was very good compared to the competition and it was delivered by DPD. Now any company that use DPD couriers always go up in my opinion as they are far and away the best couriers (am sure not the cheapest ) I am also dealing with Lee on a big purchase (for me) of a Luxman Amp, Hifi Rose streamer and Dali speakers, which I will be placing with him in 3 or 4 weeks. His store is a long distance from me so I will not going to the actual shop which I would so prefer. I had rang around the local stores asking for advice and the best deal they could do on price and their attitude was terrible, as if your not spending £40000 only £16000 so that's the price take it or leave it :(( Lee has been totally different, a great deal on price, so much help and advice and he's even going to drive down from Yorkshire to Birmingham and deliver and set up the system for me (ok he's changing for that , which is fair enough but still a great service) I can not recommend Yorkshire AV and Lee enough, fully recommend them a A1***** service :)))

I was looking for a home theatre installation service in and around the Yorkshire area for quite some time. I went to a couple of the large, multiple branch companies and each had a vastly different approach to equipment suggestions, demonstrations and installation options. Having driven past and also seen YorkshireAV on internet searches I decided to give them a call. Lee was fantastic from day 1, right down to having a cup of tea on hand when I arrived. YorkshireAV has all the equipment on offer that you can get anywhere else, even if it’s not a stocked item, but what sets them apart is the personal touch. Whether you’re in to buy a cable or spend a 5 figure value on a full home theatre solution, they are free to have a good chat, explain everything thoroughly and demonstrate whatever you need to make a decision you’re happy with. At no point did I feel pressured into any decision and no question or request was too much. With a small business one has to accept that there isn’t a fleet of installers available so when life happens, delays may occur. I was kept fully informed at each step and although multiple visits were required, there were no additional charges (I am very local admittedly). The installation was very professional and met my very high expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend YorkshireAV and they will definitely be my first choice for any hi-fi / home theatre question and purchases.

I purchased a full Dali Oberon c surround sound system from these guys and they were absolutely outstanding in there knowledge approach and customer care Lee Proctor walked me through absolutely everything made things very easy for me and he even did most of this out of hours highly recommended and I will definitely be buying off them again the system arrived when they said it would and it was the best experience I've had well done to Lee Proctor and his team top marks all round
