Loads of people calling this a scam but I think people want this qualification handing to them! 😂 Just finished TMA 29 and I’ve been to two plumbing sessions with ERR LTD in Featherston for my practical sessions which are city and Gilds approved company! I started this course in Feb 2022 and nearly finished all TMAs for the level 2 plumbing and booked in form my 3rd and 4th weekend for my practical so I should be a level 2 plumber by the end of this year. The only hard part about this course was the pre attendance test this needs to be removed from the course because it definitely put me off but after the 4th time of failing this test they send you a paper version through the post and is 100% easier to pass. But overall I’m really enjoying the course and will be doing level 3 plumbing after my level 2.

SCAM!! Pretty much the same as everyone else on here. They scam you into over paying for a course and give you zero support, and you can’t cancel it! When you call up they don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. At first I was not allowed to cancel because it was ‘over two years’ but I wasn’t over two years and suddenly the answer changed to a 14 day break clause. Customer services must get the same thing every day as they’re very touchy with the subject. It’s clear that they only want your money and know their courses are cheap and terrible. STAY AWAY!

The website of distance learning college 24/7 Training UK carries an impressive endorsement from television DIY expert Tommy Walsh.

He gushes about the huge job opportunities in the home energy renewables industry for anyone with plumbing and electrical qualifications, describing the training course as the "complete package".

"If you have the motivation and will to succeed, our proven programme will deliver the skills and qualifications for either a well-paid career or enable you to start a thriving business in this essential new generation industry," he says.

That endorsement was one reason that army veteran Thomas Rose got a £7,800 loan to pay 24/7 Training UK for its home energy renewables and plumbing course.

But he became quickly disillusioned, describing the course text books as having “no accreditation or author – they looked as if they were just downloaded off any website.”

Then he discovered that the Tommy Walsh video had been made for a different college, Engineering Real Results, or ERR Limited.

Avoid at all costs!! its a scam!!

I want to know how to cancel my course. After not receiving what I was told I would receive. I’m also seeing a lot of other people with the same problem. I don’t feel comfortable paying for this as it is sending my anxiety and panic attacks through the roof.

24/7 is managed by a bunch of cowboys and only have the intention of tying you down on a contract and taking your money. It's one MASSIVE SCAM and it provides the worst blended learning, with no feedback on progression, spelling mistakes and information explained awfully. Course advisors claim City & Guilds accredited but they're not, they run through another company called EER. which makes me think if they're all in on this massive scam.

Report these companies through;
Action Fraud, Citezens Advice, Trading Standards, WatchDog, etc. The more noise, the better. the day will come when people who are involved within these companies are found out and punished.

1 year so far and going well. Anyone talking about not having practical is their own fault, you cannot have it till you read required books.

Avoid this terrible scam course at all costs ,they will relieve you of thousands of pounds for some 15 year old text books and nothing more !!! total scumbags

My son has been on this course at the Wolverhampton training Centre over 18 months and has not had a practical. When he signed up he was told he would have a practical after he finished the first book, now he's on the fourth and yet no practical.
Rang them up and they are not very helpful, think its time to cancel the contract.

My opinion - good service from tutors, office, ERR and C&G. I started plumbing courses level 2 in Jan 2022, first practice I started in November( delays because covid and huge queues) but my last session I booked on 21 April. Its meant in 1 year and 3 months I will finish level 2 plumbing and I'm going start level 3 from May .
So don't read people this opinion below.

I also have been on this course nearly two years , I have completed up to tma 19 and haven’t been to any college yet ??? Has anyone here actually been to one of their colleges yet or better that is there anyone that’s actually got a gold card through these people because now I’m very tempted to freeze the payment

I’m currently doing my level 2 plumbing and heating with this company, I’m towards the end of the course however reading the reviews from everyone I’m not sure if I have taken the best path to get my NVQ in plumbing. Not sure what I should do going forwards could someone please help. After I’ve finished my course will I come out with a C&G or not

Absolute scam,heavy sales pitch,promise the world but deliver nothing.Where are these supportive tutors??? Course materials are delivered,but that’s where the course ends.Just a scam to get money from desperate people trying to build a career.Company just wants to take advantage and collect ‘students’ money.

It is the biggest scam I signup for the course and after that I have told them I want to cancel the course but every time they said no no who the hell are you to say no money is going out of my pocket I am paying £180 a month for no reason and I want to cancel the course at any cost

Started off with the fact that I was told it would be like a regular student loan (ie a small percentage taken each month) to find that 180£ gets taken out of my account each month for nearly a year. I have repeatedly said I want to cancel and have been told no numerous times. They give absolutely no support even during the course

Note: I have called the finance company multiple times and they have been rude and won’t refund me any of my money

This is a complete scam I have been on an electrical course for over a year and a half and only attended 2 weekends. Everytime I ring to book another I am met with another lie and delay tactic. The people in the call center are rude and unhelpful. I am 4.5k out of pocket and have nothing to show for it l. Do not use this company.

Not worth its weight in gold. I signed up just over a year ago and have learnt nothing due to spelling mistakes and outdated learning styles for an absolute fortune. Do not waste your time with this and look elsewhere for more advanced skills learning.

This is the 2nd review im writing, Ok, so i have been doing this course now for a year and half (im a postman working for Royal Mail) I signed up and straight away had my course materials sent in a laptop style bag to my house (book 1, cd, leaflets, info etc) i started working through the book and twice i had a tutor phone me to see how im getting on also messages to say "if i needed help to contact them, and hope that everything is going well" im now more than half way through the course, infact there's 39 modules and im on module 25. I have learned a hell of a lot during this time considering i didnt know anything about electrics and ive been to ERR (the practical Centre twice now, 2 weekends) and about to book the 3rd lot. Let me say it was very enjoyable, i had a great time, learned even more, tutor even sat down at the end 121 who answered any questions i or a few others wanted to know, he was very knowledgeable and a great laugh at the same time. (Loved our Nigel in Wolverhampton) also made a few friends who i am in contact with. I had an online GOLA exam the last time i went, passed (All City and Guilds exams). Anytime ive needed help at home with the books (which has ever been once) or when i want to query something (which as been a few times) they've picked up straight away when I've phoned and been helpful and understanding). All payments been taken when they should be, on the same date each month at the same amount. Probably got a year left now with my course ,so will of been 2 and half years in total which i think is great. You can go a bit quicker than this or longer than this depending on how quick, how often, how quickly you take things in by reading the course material. (also i haven't come across any bad spelling in the books as somebody said in a review) So these bad reviews I'm not getting it, Its been fantastic, i cant wait till my next time in
centre and also cant wait to complete the journey and end up a fully qualified electrician.
