4Patriots Power Cell CX
I ordered four (4) of the 4Patriots Power Cell CX. Not one (NOT 1!) of them will fully recharge using solar energy. Plug them into a wall charger, they work great, but trying to recharge solar only does NOT work.

The website claims you can run your refrigerator, typically most fridges draw somewhere between 100-300 watts that equates to approximately 1.8 to 2.5 amps. That will severely overload the generator. Although i like the idea of the compact system you would not be able to run your fridge and other electrical components. Too bad

Can I say, I have never had a company these days go beyond the mark for customer service. 4Patriots is not only a company with amazing products but recently I had a significant issue with an order. I wrote a prior review regarding the lack of response from this company. Have you tired calling them to be put on hold for an extended time? Then they allow you to leave a message so they can call you back. We'll call you back. So you call them back and get put on hold again. The circle never ends. During my last review, they responded to the review by informing me to leave a phone number so they could call me back. So, after a few days,, I received an email reply to give them a call. I would strongly suggest you stay away from doing business with this company. The lack of customer service is astounding. I will not do any business with this company. They had a chance and showed how they treat customers.

Our power products are designed and developed in our corporate office in Tennessee, with the help of a highly skilled manufacturer in China. While we strive to source products domestically when possible, certain product categories, particularly electronics, present significant challenges when it comes to manufacturing in the U.S. These challenges extend beyond cost and are related to the availability of adequate manufacturing capacity, specialized engineering, and the complexity of supply chains.
It's important to note that many high-tech products, including computers, cell phones, and televisions, are also manufactured overseas due to these same factors.

As advertised an emergency meals
As advertised an emergency meals. None of them do you any good if you don't have a ton of extra water and a way to cook them. I thought the meals in the kits would be able to eat without extended cooking.

Don't buy from these people crooks,had a flashlight malfunction, 3 solar power packs,swelled up and split in half,now my solar powered fridge throws a F2 code and won't work anymore,had to Google on line because owners manual doesn't give a solution to problem,wouldn't replace flashlight,wouldn't replace power cells and not even gonna ask about fridge,wasted my money on these crooks,trust me iam a survivlist and a prepped for over 35 yrs, there products suck

Trustworthy company
4Patriots has been one of the most reliable services I have dealt with. I am a loyal customer going back to 5 years ago when I first bought food from them. Recently I purchased my third solar generator. The 2200X which is now being discontinued. As soon as I got it delivered I checked it out, works great. 4Patriot delivers promptly and you get what you order. You can trust 4 Patriot.

I just finished talking with 4Patriots customer rep. I was ripped by them. Purchased their food containers in 2020. Now, the roaches enjoy living in the containers.
We kept the containers in the air-conditioned room (Cool & Dark). Yet, the food perished and roaches are living.
The following is all false:

Used the generator 3times the second and third, screen went blank, will not charge, the biggest waste of money I spent, so highly disappointed, I don't have money to throw away, thought I was investing in something good, never again will I buy anything and I mean anything from this company again. Great Customer Service & Outstanding Products!
Slowly but surely we are getting more self-reliant and confident in our ability to withstand the unseen problems the future may bring. I have carefully investigated "prepper" products and advice, and 4Patriots is one of the few companies I can trust to tell me the truth about their products' qualities. They also send special notices about deals and discounts, which I always appreciate. To date, I have bought several of their solar-powered water-heater bottles, solar-powered outdoor lantern/bug zapper, 72-hr emergency food kits, and the automatic power backup for my refrigerator. They have always answered my questions fully and satisfactorily. I will continue to remain a loyal customer!

Basic review
I have a 1200 generator, multiple pieces of gear and food, everything has worked though I cannot get the 100 watts out of any of the 4 panels, best is 240 combined. Custmoer service has been great with one issue.

In real-world outdoor conditions, it’s very common to see lower output — often 60–80% of the rated capacity depending on sun intensity, time of day, cloud cover, temperature, and panel positioning. The products have been as described. The food taste good. The canned beef taste just like pot roast delicious. The other items I’ve ordered worked properly and I really like the combination packages that they have in the specials that they run. I like the response I get when I contact Customer Service. I appreciate this company and I believe they are accurate and honest.

In some cases, solar charging can be slower than expected, depending on sunlight intensity, panel angle, temperature, or whether the internal battery was fully depleted. If the unit doesn’t receive direct, strong sunlight, it may appear not to charge at all. That said, it absolutely should be able to take a charge under proper conditions, and if it’s not, we want to look into it.

My generator was delivered with a part…
My generator was delivered with a part loose inside it. I call them and said it needed to be replaced. It took almost 5 days to get the return package. I sent it back the same day. The recieved it back a week ago and they said the replacement was to ship yesterday but I have not received any tracking information.
The bottom line support was always friendly and helpfull but the time it is taking to get the replacement is just unacceptable. In additiion their communication about the process is the worse I have seen in alone time.
In hind sight I would not purchase from them and not be buying anything else from them

I went to charge my 2 sidekicks
I went to charge my 2 sidekicks, mini solar generators, and they would not charge. So when being threatened with power failures due to ice storms, the purpose in having the sidekicks was lost when they did not work.
Customer service went out of their way. To let me know that they were not going to take responsibility to repair or give me a refund. They even had the audacity to ask me for the last name of the person who sold me the products.
How the heck would I know.
I tasted some of their foodbit was horrible so Ibthrew it away.
Now I'm debating if there was any point at all into buying their twenty five year food because i'm not sure it lasts for twenty five years.I'm not sure it lasts for a year. Customer service also gives you a false sense of superiority. When they talk to you and they're telling you that they're going to try and fix the matter.But they've no intentions of it.
They are absolutely are not living up to the standard of trust that we placed in them when we purchased their products instead of somebody else's.
Don't buy their products any of them. They're horrible and they don't work

When you prepare for potential power outages, you should be able to rely on your equipment with confidence. We understand how upsetting it must have been to discover your Sidekick units wouldn’t charge when you needed them.
Charging issues can sometimes stem from the outlet source, charging cable, battery protection mode, or storage conditions — but regardless of the cause, you should never feel brushed off when seeking help. We’re also sorry if any part of the interaction — including being asked for sales details — came across as frustrating or unnecessary. That question is typically asked to help locate the order in our system, but we understand how that could feel unreasonable from your perspective.
Regarding the food products, we stand behind our long-term storage standards when items are stored properly. Taste is, of course, subjective, but quality and shelf-life claims are backed by testing and packaging standards. If you received anything that seemed off, we would absolutely want to look into that.

Do lots of research on solar generators before buying!
My wife read to me the review by the electrical engineer, and our 1800w generator had the same problem. AC inverter was shot. So we wrote customer service, and they basically said nothing they could do, take it to a shop. I was telling my wife, the proper thing those scammers should have done, not necessarily replace our unit—I think it was $2000, if memory serves me—but to give us a discount of what we paid, towards a new generator, and we would have paid the difference. They refused it. What we should have done was read the reviews before we bought anything from them. I am disgusted because they use the word “patriot” in their name, and being a Vietnam veteran, I thought it was a legit company that we could trust. Unfortunately we got scammed.
If you by any chance have any problems with yours, and you live in the same city that company is located, you can go to the small claims court. Our small claims court in Texas will cover up to $5000 that we can make a claim on, and what’s required for us, after we apply to the court, send them a registered letter, giving them 14 days to ratify your claim with the company. And if they don’t, you can seek litigation with them at the small claims court. You can get a lawyer to represent you or you can represent yourself. Now here in Texas, if you don’t hear from them in 14 days, the small claims court can put a lien on their second property until they reimburse or ratify the situation. So if you live in the same town, don’t discredit this situation. Small claims courts can help you. Just have them send a registered letter to the main CEO of 4Patriots. I hope that your courts are the same as ours. I’ve used them in the past, and it worked to my favor. My consolation though they screwed us, is that God knows what they did, lol, and they’re going to answer to him for it.
