1st off I was a sucker for the newest…
1st off I was a sucker for the newest 2500x! 2nd the solar panels are the worst I've ever used! My little 300 power has a better solar panel than 4Patriots, and no, it's not a 4Patriots.
Both panels together have never given me 200w's NEVER, the most I've seen 75w's, that's BS. As for no sun, then no wattage, Um, it said even without sun it would still give something.
I have searched high and low for reviews not connected to 4Patriots and really this is the only place I found and it's still attached to 4Patriots.
The solar panels suck, but I do love the generator.

No electricity
A stellar product. You don't have to plug it in. It works by gravity. You fill it, the water goes through the filters, and you have clean water. You replace the filters once a year. It was about $300.00 dollars without the filters. The filters are about $79.00 a piece. Yes they are pricey, but worth it. I plan on buying a stainless steel jug to put water in. In case shit hits the fan, I'm ready. I stock food as well. I am very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the gold survival kit with the 1200W power generator 5 months ago. When it was time to test and possibly use the generator this weekend during the ice storm my generator didn’t work. I was told it was defective and needed to be replaced. How disappointing, so I asked for a refund to return the generator, because last minute I needed to purchase another power source and was told it was outside of the 90 day warranty. It worked when I received it 5 months ago, but when I need it to work for the first time, it’s outside of the return policy window. And I’m still making payments. Just not right. I have 2 stars because the other items in my kit are handy.

Decent MREs, skip the expensive of their generators. It's a very expensive boat anchor or door weight.
Back in 2022 I purchased one of the early solar generators thinking I was spending $2,000+ with a company who cared in providing quality products to families looking to take care of themselves when things get rough. Their MREs are decent, so thought maybe the solar generator would be as well. The solar attachments never worked from the beginning but I was told by customer service I was probably installing it wrong. I plugged the unit it and charged it. Used it once for 20 minutes, and then in preparation for the most recent storm, pulled it out, charged it (took 7 hours), drained it (took 20 minutes running a 1400kwH heater) and while recharging it, the battery only got 1/2 way, and the unit stopped charging. The customer service once again said "not our problem, you're outside your 1yr warranty." For a piece of junk. Wish I had read more reviews. Praying others read reviews before having their own $2,000 learning experience.

I have had their power block for barely over a year and it's already failing to work. Of course their warranty is 365 days, they know their products do not work well.

Generators do not work
First portable generator lasted 30 minutes and died. The replacement, in which they couldn't get the shipping address correct after several calls, won't even turn on. We're sending it back permanently. This company has such bad products that I am surprised that they are still in business. Do not buy anything from them.

Model 1800 generator died, 4pats will not provide schematics of internals to allw repair!
I have a model 1800 generator that i used with an appliance that was advertised to consume only 1600 watts, well within the 1800 watt max adverstised for this generator. AC Output failed with red alarm lights over output. Tech support from 4patriots says the even though the appliance rating power consumption says it should only be 1080 watts, the unofficial power consuption could be as high as 2500 watts, which means I probably fried the output circuitry of the generator. As an electrical engineer, I could debug this and fix it but 4patriots refuses to release internal schematics on the unit. Their recommendation is to take it to a repair shop and have them try to fix it, even though they refuse to documet the internal circuitry. Not sure how a repair shop will repair this without schematics. Beware! Appliance ratings are not always accurate and 4Patriots are not really interested in solving customer issues (yeah, its out of warranty but I expeted more from their technical support team other than "it broke, live with it". Time to look at alternative power solutions other tha 4Patriats for my survival needs. Buyer beware!

I ordered the buy 3 month get 2 month free meal kits.
i opened the container to find punctured bags and food all over the container. I started checking bags and came across over 30 bags hard as a rock and a handful of bags from 2022. I started doing the water test on the mylar pouches only to find a good portion of bags were not sealed. Almost 80% of bags have hard as a rock lumps in them. Been trying for two weeks to return and get replacements only to be redirected to different email addresses and nothing but promises by phone. All the bags were dated 2024. Check all your bags there throwing in old food with spoiled food in hopes you wont check them.Im done trying to get reimbursements but i will report this to the BBB.

4 Patriots ripped us off for $7000
We bought a $7000,00 freeze dryer 2 years ago with a 3 year warranty. Has not worked correctly in 3 months. Have spent countless hours on the phone and email with them. They have had us perform all kinds of tests, which we did, and sent them the results. We are currently on our 4th customer service person, who just sent us an email saying that we should find someone to come look at it. No recommendation, and in looking around, we could find no one who works on freeze dryers. Of course we'd have to pay, even if we could find someone to work on it. They no longer sell them, and won't tell us who manufactured it for them. Even if we could find someone to work on it, they probably couldn't get the parts from 4 Patriots since they don't sell them anymore. Even though it's still under warranty.
DON'T TRUST 4 PATRIOTS FOR ANY EQUIPMENT THEY SELL
Update: 1 week after posting this review, we were contacted by ANOTHER customer service rep. After talking with them, they agrred to a partial refund of $3105.50. We just feceived the check on 1/29/26. It was very helpful because it entirely covered the cost of our new Bkue Alpine freeze dryer that works incredibly well. Should have bought that in the first place.

They showed pictures, but not what they pictured!
They showed pictures, and advertised food for two months in my order. I received 8 pkgs each of rice, pancake mix, oatmeal and creamy rice and vegetable dinner, plus 3 vanilla pudding, 4 mac and cheese and 8 assorted dinners, adding up to about $100. The total cost was $295.34. I was assured I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. When I tried to return it, they said I had to pay return shipping. At about 50 lbs. per box x 2 I can barely imagine what that will be! More than disappointed, I believe it's a fraud!

This company is a very deceptive…
This company is a very deceptive company I should have read the reviews on this website before getting involved. I place an order for over $500 in products only to find out that it was going to take a minimum of two weeks to receive them. I needed it fairly quickly. I have been trying to get a refund for a week and they are dragging their feet so I have $500 tied up somewhere that I can't get back. Forget customer service there is none. Don't try the phone number expecting to speak to someone you will be on hold forever. Just punch the number seven and wait for them to text you. You will have to go through an AI first. I also fell for the word Patriot thinking it was a us-based company selling products made in the USA. They got my money who knows when I'll get it back. Do not do business with them you will be very sorry.

Ordered 3 lithium battery generators
Ordered 3 lithium battery generators; two arrived defective (one won't charge at all, the other one shuts off power completely around 50% state of charge). Terribly unreliable products for back up power during an outage. Stay away from this company...these have been sitting in my garage for nearly 2 months waiting for a return label from the company.
UPDATE; Company has since escalated the difficulties to a supervisor and they have been extremely helpful in remediating the situation. Appreciate the transparent communication and support!

How is it a company like this is allowed to sell under 4 patriots name ? That is the ONLY reason i persued a purchase. Unbelievable scam. This unit is not what was advertised when I tried to buy it. It's a much smaller in size. Initially there was someone trying to help me, but he wanted me to fill out oodles of paperwork, and aening it back was totally my responsibility. The box I no longer had, nor packing. There wasnt any attempt to satisfy the order in any other way. Wanted to talk to a technition who works on them, but brian says hes the only one who does it BUT hes not technical. ? Huh? Well git me a technical person. He says i am the tecnical guy. ?,,?? My order will be adhusted by what i send back. This is avery small $1500 unit. Itemized. $500 for solar panel. $50 for the ac charging cord( the kind your sewing machine uses) $125 restocking fee...what ? Why do i have to pay for your shitty product to get restocked ???
Guess sending it back isnt an option. Would you ,?? By the time (about3 weeks) I thought better of it, because of the hassle,we had a power outage...It quit, and wouldnt recharge. !!!.ya know what. DONT BUY THIS CRAP, IT NOT worth my time to type the complaint.
