ACIS Educational Tours Avis 

Tour guide, Daniel, was excellent. Hotels generally okay, except for Cardiff (put in a basement room, no air conditioning, had to pull luggage up and down stairs). CHESTER CATHEDRAL (re-)scheduled concert: VERY POORLY HANDLED. Chester Cathedral people told us we could NOT have chairs for our audience, we were a 'pop-up' choir that was not scheduled (we understood we WERE scheduled through ACIS!!) and did not 'deserve' consideration. We were told not to touch chairs, piano, etc. VERY POOR reception by Cathedral work staff, and NO ONE ON SIGHT FROM ACIS TO HANDLE THIS ISSUE. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT BY ACIS.

David was great, everything was incredibly easy. The only thing is that we would've wished for a bit more time in Vilnius and more performances if possible. Also, would've preferred more time to explore the city rather than the trampoline park. The food workshops were fantastic! As an admin, I would've appreciated more communication prior to the trip. More meetings, dates, timelines. I felt a little unsure of what my responsibilities were and what I needed to do.

To be totally honest, the actual trip for my daughter was a nightmare due to medical issues that landed her in a hospital in Venice. However, ACIS people were fabulous to work with! Carlotta in Rome helped me day and night whenever I was lost or didn’t know how to navigate the system. Brita was very supportive of me and helped me from the stateside. Laura helped me coordinate flights and getting to the hospital in Venice. I couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you so much!

This was a wonderful experience. The cities we stayed in were beautiful. Our guide Helena Guerra was so kind, helpful and informative. She gave us so much history everywhere we went. Our driver, we called him Mido, was so helpful with all of our luggage and transportation.

We were kept well informed for months about the itinerary and plans. We got reminders of what we needed to do before travel and what to bring. We were also well informed during travel of what to expect every day.

Fabulous trip!

Wonderful, well planned

The hotels were wonderful, especially the breakfasts! Unfortunately the heat was almost unbearable, but I know you can’t control that. Do you have trips in the spring and fall?

The tour was great. Highlights were timed entries, tour manager and bus service.

Hotels (except for Sorrento) were not great. Food was okay but didn’t have slot of greens.

Our guide John Perry was the best. He was respectful and always positive. His knowledge of history was astonishing and made the sights even more relatable. Amazing over all trip!

It was really amazing! I got to see so many diffrent historical sights and scenery around the Europe. My only negative thoughts was how I was unprepared with how busy we would be, but nonetheless it was very fulfilling and I had a great time.

The tour was informative and extremely well managed. There was flexibility because of the heat wave and there was attentiveness to the needs of our group. So I very much appreciated the fast pivots when needed.
Room for improvement. I wish we could have attended a concert or an opera with the kids. And our food was not always the best. Long dinners in the heat with similar meat and potato menus over and over again were tiresome.
Our tourguide was excellent.

Well thought out itinerary. Great activities/sites. Food was good and a focus was placed on food common to the area we were in. Appropriate amount of down time.
Highly recommend.
