It offers a wide range of facilities to engage and support your fitness journey and has a vibrant and active social community – an excellent approach to physical and mental wellbeing. The club offers a welcome and inclusive environment with a professional team of Acorn Ninjas from a warm reception, experienced personal trainers in the fitness areas and sports coaches on the courts. There is an excellent range of equipment in the gym, spin studio, dance studio, three squash courts, a pool and two tennis courts. Members can relax in the steam room or sauna, read a newspaper in the comfortable and spacious lounge area, or chillout on the outside balcony enjoying the weather and glorious garden. We offer lots of facilities for junior members too from swimming lessons, to on site creche and kids clubs for tennis, squash, and junior workouts. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff
I am the owner of the business Just Frankies and I hold a pop up shop at Acorns Gym monthly selling my ladies fashion and accessories.
The staff at Acorns are very friendly and helpful, and seem to know their members personally . The atmosphere at the gym is very relaxed and welcoming and I see a lot of regulars attending classes and then sitting in the lounge area having a coffee and chatting with friends. I have also attended a quiz night at the gym and it was great fun.

Great little gym
I have been a member of Acorns since last year and thoroughly love going to the gym. Such a friendly atmosphere and the staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. All areas of the gym are always spotlessly clean, the classes are fun and well worth going to. The added bonus of the bar and terrace area makes Acorns stand out from the others. And the pool is warm! Huge bonus

Friendly Gym
I’ve been a member of Acorns Gym for nearly a year which is probably longer than I’ve kept any gym membership! I’m a large lady and am usually intimidated by people you’d normally see at the gym! I’ve never felt any embarrassment or felt uncomfortable at Acorns. You always get a warm welcome at reception and there is generally somebody who will smile and talk to you or make you feel welcome. It’s the friendliest gym I’ve ever belonged to and I honestly couldn’t be happier there. I’d thoroughly recommend it.

I was a member when my kids were little…
I was a member when my kids were little over 20 years ago and decided to rejoin again in November . Have to say best decision I made ! The classes are great, people so friendly and facilities just what I need . Highly recommend

A uniquely social health and fitness club.
The thing I love about Acorns is I can go to the gym or do a spin class then enjoy the unique social side of the club over a coffee or beer.

I have been a member for over 30 years that should speak for itself! Great new swimming pool, lovely bar where you can grab a cold pint after your work out. Acorns also provides a great family atmosphere offering a plethora of activities including fitness classes, tennis and squash.
Highly recommend

Lovely health club
Lovely health club, great to be able to go to the gym and have a crèche for the baby, love the social aspect of the club and the selection of classes is superb. Have been a member for several years now

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly
The club is really friendly and the staff are very helpful. I enjoy using the gym and my kids go to junior squash and junior workout, which has improved their fitness and coordination. The club lounge is relaxing and we enjoy having a drink after our workout. Would recommend Acorns, lovely atmosphere.

I'm a new member at Acorns Gym.
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I am really enjoying all the classes and the swimming pool.
It's great to be able to have a cappuccino with the girls after yoga and as the weather improves we get to sit outside it's bliss
Highly recommend!
