Acqua Garden Avis 390

Still have yet to receive my order.
They dispatched the rose I ordered on Tuesday and it is now Friday and still nothing + silence from them after I have reached out about it.
Issues:
• Not responding to my communication.
• They have sent a live plant via Royal Mail which is...unreliable to say the least, and Awuagarden -a live plant company- have chosen to send it not by the ‘24 tracked’ service you’d expect for a company sending plants, but have sent it via the ‘48’ service.
• Not only has it not arrived since they said it had been despatched, the tracking indicates Royal Mail haven’t even received it yet though it’s now Friday.
So if this rose does ever show up I dread to think what state it will be in.

For the complete nonexistent communication and me having to chase them up first about this, I would definitely avoid ordering from here again. It’s a stark contrast to an extremely positive experience I have had with another plant company this same week that makes this all the more disappointing.

Plant damaged and message sent received no correspondence back.

Good prices, some delays with delivery outwith their control. Still quite satisfactory, plants are good.

The plants came reasonably quickly and were healthy looking. Since potting them up they are doing well. This is the second time I have bought the Carolina reapers from Aqua Garden and have been happy with the service on both occasions.

I purchased several ‘Red Burgundine’ asparagus crowns from Acqua Garden. The crowns themselves looked reasonably healthy and likely around two years old, so initial impressions were positive.

However, once growth started, it became clear they were not Burgundine. Instead of the expected red spears, they produced standard green asparagus - more in line with a common variety such as Connover’s Colossal. This is not a minor mix-up; varietal accuracy is the whole point when buying named asparagus.

I contacted the company and corresponded with Ayesha, who confirmed their supplier had made a mistake. Despite acknowledging this, no replacement or meaningful resolution was offered.

That alone is disappointing. What raises further concern is that shortly afterwards, the company began listing a wide range of asparagus varieties - many of them relatively hard to source in the UK. When I asked for basic details (age of crowns, origin, growing condition), they were unable to provide clear answers. The product images also appear to be stock photos rather than of their actual plants.

Based on this experience, I would think carefully before purchasing from them - particularly if varietal accuracy matters.

I ordered Polka raspberry plants in 2L pots. However, the plants I received were extremely small. They looked more like recently propagated plugs placed into larger pots rather than established 2-year-old plants.
While they arrived alive, the size and maturity were disappointing and did not match expectations for the description. I accepted them at the time, but the size should be clearer for customers.

Celery was really good plugs, just waiting for rest, but communication is not that great

Disappointed that my order was cancelled and although refunded there was no explanation or apology.

I have submitted reviews before about Acqua Garden. I have been receiving vegetable plugs and plants from them for a number of years. These are speedily delivered and are always in pristine condition. Any communication I have with the company is always friendly, attentive and professional. I am glad that I found Acqua Garden and would go to no one else for all my garden vegetable and plant requirements. 5 stars every time. Colin

This is the second year purchasing Acqua Garden's pansies. Very good quality plants, a little expensive for a single tray but very economical if you buy 2. Plus fast delivery. What's not to like!

I’ve not received anything! Order submitted then zero communication. Phone number doesn’t connect and no reply to emails. Scam??? Gutted as website fab with great products.

I have not yet received any of my orders apart from some free chard as an apology for not getting some tomatoes that still haven't been delivered.

Very healthy plants. There was a slight delivery issue, but the customer service and willingness to rectify was faultless. Would defo order again.
