We have bought several fittings from Affordable Lighting and have always been impressed by the speed of delivery and the value for money. However, on this occassion, we were dissappointed to find that when we fixed the fitting onto the back plate, the pull cord switch would no longer work. We eventually got it to work by changing some of the internal components (safely - we are qualified in that regard). There is simply not enough room in the back box for the wiring, terminal boxes and for the switch to move freely. A slightly larger box would be completely acceptable and a small price to pay for making the fitting install-able!

Products fine. 2 lights ordered were out of stock - should have been updated on website as paid and then had to wait for them to be back in stock so money sitting in their account rather than my own, not very fair. Was phoned to let me know which was good - nicer personal touch than just an email. Products did arrive in time for my electrician when I called to enquire again as they hadn't arrived when expected so no worries in the end.

We ordered this light fitting which is stunning in our dining room. We had excellent service from ordering to delivery.

The wall lights arrived promptly in time for the electrician & we're beautiful! I love them & they match my lounge lights, so a real bonus as it is always difficult to gauge how they look and size up. I definitely recommend Affordable Lighting.

IN CONSTRUCTING THE MIRROR LIGHT, THERE ARE SIX FITTING SCREWS TO HOLD THE GLASS PIECES IN PLACE. ONE OF THE PREDRILLED HOLES WAS TOO BIG FOR THE SCREWS TO THREAD. I USED A NON-MATCHING SUBSTITUTE WHICH WAS OUT OF SIGHT FROM BELOW TO SAVE TIME AND EFFORT. I REALLY SHOULD HAVE RETURNED THE ITEM, BUT DID NOT HAVE THE TIME.

I haven't opened the parcel yet so cannot tell you a lot. I have arranged for someone to come and take down the old light in my kitchen and install the searchlight bar that I ordered from Affordable Lighting. However I can say that I was impressed with the way they processed my order and arranged prompt delivery.

Recently purchased brass effect spotlights for my kitchen. Arrived promptly and without problems.Very pleased with my choice but once installed WOW have really put finishing touch to kitchen. Could not be more pleased. If only it was so easy to obtain services of an electrician. A very happy customer.

The exact products we wanted, only £50 cheaper than in the shops! Ordering easy, delivery really quick, and we were kept up to date about where our items were every step of the way. Arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Look superb now they're installed. Wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future. Highly recommend.
