Karolina was very knowledgeable about beds and firstly showed us beds that might be suitable. We always return to Doorway to Value and have bought so many items of furniture over the years. Karolina took her time with us and eventually showed us a bed that was most suitable including softness and comfort after we tried out many ourselves. She then discussed bases, drawer types and headboard types and colours. We were happy to then buy something that we felt was just what we needed.

We visited the store to look for specific pieces of furniture. There was no high pressure selling and you were given the time and space to browse.
When we were ready to ask questions David came over and answered all the queries. We ordered our lovely new furniture there and then.

We went in looking for a mattress and ottoman bed frame and didn't really have a clue. We were helped by Karolina. She is an asset to the company, so polite and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Since making the order she has regularly emailed me keeping me upto date with the arrival.
Id also like to mention the lady who was working on the main reception today 4/10/26 when we came to pay the balance. She was very polite, professional and helpful too. (Sorry I didn't get her name).
Good customer care/service and communication is a rarity nowadays but this company shows exactly how it should be done.

The service I received when I purchased my original sofa from Ian Parr was excellent - so I came back to him for my next purchase! He makes things simple, offers good suggestions and has patience so I didn’t fe rushed to decide. Quick snd efficient at the admin too and a thoroughly nice chap to deal with. Today we visited Doorway to Value in Whittle-le-Woods to choose our new Chesterfield suite, and we were lucky enough to have Peter help us.

From the moment we arrived the staff downstairs were very helpful in showing us upstairs to the department where Peter was incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. His product knowledge was fantastic, and he took the time to explain all the different options without ever making us feel pressured or rushed. He really listened to what we wanted and offered great advice, and was patient as we had our little dog with us which I might add was welcomed in just as much as us! This made choosing our suite so much easier.

Peter’s helpfulness, patience and genuine enthusiasm for what he does really stood out. He made the whole experience enjoyable and gave us complete confidence in our choice.

We’re absolutely delighted with our choice of Chesterfield suite and would highly recommend Peter and Doorway to Value to anyone looking for great quality, excellent service and someone who genuinely cares about helping you find the right furniture.

We visited the store a couple of weeks ago and purchased a suite. We were looked after by a lovely man called Dave Thomson, he was very attentive without being over bearing, after giving us advise he left us alone for a while to discuss what we wanted ourselves. He was very knowledgeable about the products we were looking at. We bought the after sales package, which in 46 years of owning a house we have never bought on anything before, but his knowledge of the products and his general demeanour made us trust him. We will definitely be back in the future.

David Thomson gave us calm considered advice. At no stage were we subjected to salesmanship. I would certainly recommend David and Doorway to Value.

Would highly recommend. Bought a new bed from here last week and had great help from Ian. We visited with our baby so were tight on time and Ian made it very easy for us as he quickly identified what we needed and make the perfect recommendation. Also generally can't stress enough how much I love that whenever I've been here the staff generally don't constantly pester you. So many furniture shops are off putting these days as you get the hard sell as soon as you walk in the door but there is a much more chill atmosphere in this store.

Dawn and John attended to us on our visit to store and both were super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We placed an order with each of them and received great service, fab prices and we are made up with our coffee table and dining table/chairs set. Thank you!
