The only reason I gave 1 star is because you can’t choose 0 which is what this company is. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! They do not respond to emails and they do not answer phone calls. They try and tell you 16-20 weeks for a hot tub cover? That’s just absurd. Then they told me they would give me a refund and never did…. Stay away

They stole $454 from me when I placed my order on 5/9/22. Now, no response to calls or emails. NO one answers phone or emails anymore. I'm reporting them... UGGGGHHHHHHH. What a horrible experience. Discover is investigating the dispute, wish me luck!

Ordered our hot tub cover back in September 2022. Unable to get through to company. Always on hold. No response to emails or voicemails. Was supposed to get cover by end of November. Disputed charge with Capital One. They’re taking care of it. I told them good luck getting hold of them as I’ve been trying for over a week

Wow! I so wish that I had looked for reviews before ordering a spa cover from these people. Same story here; ordered in mid July 2022, credit card charged, waited sixteen weeks, no answer to my emails or voice messages. I sent a threatening message that I'd be reporting them and got an email from Nancy L. about phone issues and supply problems. Long story short, this is a scam! They keep replying to my emails that the refund is coming.

Same thing here, nought a cover for the Low price of $335 Sept 2021, then proceeded on a nightmare run 13 1/2 months long, so I complained to my bank(Chase Morgan), because we bought it on their debit card. We just asked if there is any recourse after 90 days. The reply, typically not, but we will investigate. They called back a day later(Chase Bank) and gave us a full refund the same day after what appeared to be a quick and easy investigation.
Affordable Spa Covers is a Scam, and its been going on for a long time. DO NOT BUY THEM!!! Try your bank for reimbursement folks, I thought I had no chance, glad I called(thanks Chase), how this place has avoided prosecution is beyond me. If it ever existed to begin with, their company needs schooling on shipping procedures. First lesson of todays study, “SEND THE MERCHANDISE THAT PEOPLE ORDER and PAY FOR”! See, so simple. SMH

SAME STORY AS EVERYONE ELSE, WE ORDERED MAY 6, 2022 AND WE STILL HAVE NO SPA COVER, NO BODY ANSWERS THEIR PHONE OR EMAILS.

Like others on here, I also ordered my spa cover in July, 2022. It is now the end of November and have still not been able to reach them. I've tried calling, only to be placed on hold for over an hour each time. I've sent emails. The one time I got hold of somebody, I was told 16 weeks. I'm now at 21 weeks and see they are offering expedited orders on their website.
They have also taken my money and I haven't received any respond to my request for a refund.

I purchased a spa cover from affordablespacovers.com on February 2, 2021. I never received it. I inquired about it about 12-15 times by phone and I was told there were issues with the foam supplier they had dew to covid-19. I believed them and just waited. every time I called/emailed it was 1-2 months out from the date I called... Finally after a year and a half of waiting I requested my money back on . June 20, 2022. They responded with the following. "We were unable to process an automatic refund. We will send you a check for $435 within 3-4 weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience. Joanna V ​" I received the response on the same day 6/20/2022. I have never gotten a check and now when I call it just says the voicemail is full. I have also sent follow up emails requesting the money back and have heard nothing. Sales I have not received a refund check. Please call me and let me know the status of the refund... 218-838-6327. Can you tell me when it was sent or if it even was sent? please reply ASAP. I have tried to call and it just goes to voicemail. Rod I would like to get my money back as now it is way to late to get a refund from the credit card company. They lied over and over to buy time so I could not go after them with the credit card company and i believed them..

It is a scam. They have no customer support or communication and they charge but never send anything, it is just a scam. I am going to report them and try and have the website taken down.

They are criminals. Ordered cover in 2020. Pretended to ship in 2021. Nothing ever arrived and shipping company said they don't even know how they got a tracking number. Spoke with company and they'd be sending out a refund. Even got an email stating the same. 2 years later. Out $400. Employees should be ashamed to be stealing money from people each week to fund their paychecks.

Total scam! They are the worst, what ever you do buy your cover from ANYOPNE other than these losers. 100% scam operation in my opinion.

There should be lower rating then one star. This company takes orders, charges your charge card immediately and gives you a far off production date.... then nothing.

+1 got scammed by this company. Identical story. Business stopped answering calls. Filed complaints with BBB and Attorney General. Hopefully others don’t get scammed. I’m out $500 bucks.

FRAUDULENT. CRIMINAL. I BOUGHT A COVER FOR MY HOT TUB BACK IN JULY 2022. THEY CHARGED ME RIGHT AWAY SAYING THAT IT WOULD BE DELIVERED WITHIN 17 WEEKS. IT HAS BEEN WELL OVER THAT AND I AM BEING IGNORED. I HAVE CALLED, EMAILED, LEFT MESSAGES AND MORE! I CAN'T EVEN GET ANYONE TO GET ON THE PHONE. I CAN'T GET A SIMPLE UPDATE. THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND WENT SILENT!!

Ordered in November 2021, tried disputing the charge with CC in September 2022 after delay after delay after delay. No luck with Discover card. They say after 120 days they have no leverage with the company. I call BS.
I think the company knows this and delays long enough to where they don't have to answer to Discover's disputes. I guess I have to eat the $400.
I WILL be cancelling Discover card as they are absolutely worthless in this situation.

Same story others are giving. Ordered a spa cover from AffordableSpaCovers in 4/22/2022. The spa cover NEVER arrived. All communication from them - multiple e-mails, Phone calls etc were NEVER answered. I requested my credit card company to back the charge and have since filled a complaint with Florida AG. The there a SCAM. Do not order from them.

Do not order from this company. We ordered a spa cover 9-25-20, they immediately took our money and heard nothing. After several phone call they said they were backed up because of covid. Finally we received notice on Feb 23, 2021 our order was completed/shipped, about 5 days later we received it. On June 8, 2022 we filed for warranty but were informed that natural deterioration was not covered under warranty, SORRY. They are the cheapest $, but also the worst. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!!!!

Obviously, a scam company! I noticed they keep changing their phone number. Their business model seems to be "delay shipment until the customer becomes frustrated and cancels the order". Then they keep $150.00 for the cancellation! Probably more than they make on a cover anyway. Great plan until the BBB shuts them down. I was able to get a refund through my CC company since these people have numerous complaints. Their website and phone service seems professional, so I never suspected they were a scam. Guess it pays to read reviews before placing an order. Amazing they have not already been shut down!

Over a year of waiting for a cover, they told me over and over that their styrofoam had been delayed and it would ship the following month, finally I canceled the order and they're doing the same thing in regards to my refund now. Apparently their bank has been 'compromised' and they can't write any checks for a month. I am convinced they are a scam at this point
