I ordered my tub cover August 21 of 2021 and still havent received anything. The only communication is on sided and that is from me to the store. They have never reached out once but have replied to my emails stating manu reasons why no product then why on no refund. Lets all work together to get our cases resolved! Thank you. Sue

Scam company - do not order. We paid for a spa cover ($410) in September of 2021. They immediately charged our credit card but never delivered. We cancelled the order in June 2022 after them pushing our order out and now they refuse to issue our refund. They keep saying they will refund next month but then they don't. We have complained the BBB and the Florida Attorney generals office.

It is a con company that should be shut down. Still waiting for my refund one year later. No cover and impossible to contact them. Google should not be showing them on top three searches. Refund was due in May, 2022 and we are now approaching September, 2022.

Affordable spas is a joke of a company, they shipped a ripped cover to me and tried to blame the carrier. The box was fully intact when recieved and when i opened it there were 2 rips up near the hinge of the cover. I tried to talk to someone at the company and just kept getting the run around i would never do buisness with this company again. I highly advise anyone thinking about ordering from them not to unless you like recieving damaged goods a company will not do anything about, spend your money somewhere else. Do the research i should have affordable spas has a horrible rating and have 19 claims right now!!! Withstanding

I ordered a cover Monday, they didn't give a lead time, so I called Wednesday and they said 16-24 weeks. On Thursday, I told them to cancel the order but they said it will cost $150 after 24hrs even though there is no way any money was spent on the order, given the lead time. Seems many people are in the same boat with them. I filed a BBB complaint and will see what happens.
Seems that even if they end up shipping it, there's a good chance of it being damaged with inadequate shipping protection.

I bought a cover in 2011 and went back. I was satisfied and did not check their reviews as of late. Maybe a new owner ??? If you call them to check on your order, they try to bump you for expedited shipping 74.99. Then if you decide to cancel they want to charge you 150$. I called the credit card company. Too many disputes and they lose their ability to use VISA MC and AMEX. Call now and cancel the charge asap. Don't waste time with them.

Affordable Spa Covers is THE worst company to order from!! My husband ordered a hot tub cover in April of 2021. When he called Affordable Spa Covers in June 2021, he was told it would be delivered in November. In November 2021 when he asked for his money to be returned they said no. When I called on March 22, 2022 I was given a sad story that COVID 19 has caused reduced production of the spa covers and then a shortage of foam. We were informed it would be ready in June of 2022. My next call was June 28, 2022 and was told by Juliana it would be ready the beginning to the middle of Aug 2022!! We are clearly getting the run around!! I told Juliana if we don’t get it by August, I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Very frustrating!!

I ordered a hot tub cover that they had in stock. Color says charcoal. When I received it. It is medium gray. I can tell it's medium gray as it has a green hue to it. I emailed them with photos. I even took a washed out charcoal towel as a reference for color. The sent me back a partial color pallet (they were sure to nit include the medium gray in their photo). I sent them one back including all their colors. They say that their colvers are not refundable or returnable. Basically they give ever excuses not to be accountable.
When you call and get their announcement.
They say they have the highest customer service. This is not true. STAY away from this company.
Also to add to this. The cover came from Coverlex. When you call them. The voice mail is full. Other customers have complained about the same situation.

Ordered spa cover in January ,it's now middle of April and still have heard nothing . Called them and got the same bullsh_t excuse others seem to be getting . From the reviews I have read ,looks like I have been scammed . I think we all should file a class action law suit against them and see to it they get shut down . I too can't stand thieves .

VERY IMPORTANT. After you get the shipping notice and you see the cover is in the local terminal, schedule the delivery with the carrier. When they bring the cover, take it out of the box and inspect it for damage. If it is not damaged, sign for it and keep it. IF it is damaged, reject it, give it back to the driver, sign the receipt Damaged refused and give us a call. There are additional instructions and in your delivery information below. Please read it carefully. If you have any further questions, please give us a call.
If it does ship with Forward Air, they will deliver your cover with no signature required. If the cover is not damaged, keep it. If a forklift has damaged it on the top or bottom of the cover, send us pictures right away, and we will contact Forward Air and send you a new cover.

Affordable spa covers ...wow! This is my 1st time I'm dealing with a company that never delivers a product. I see testimonials on their sales page but but I see none of the true reviews. Great price great Testimonials But they can't be true from my experience. It seems as if they only have a sales department ...no production. 2 things I hate in life... liars and thieves. I've waited 11 months. There is no excuse other than they must be liars and thieves...that's my opinion. I doubt that they will ever change my opinion by delivering . And yes I have contacted them many times. They just give me a different delivery date. While they laugh all the way to the bank.

DON'T EVEN THINK OF ORDERING FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are a scam. I ordered my cover 3/24/21 and it is 12/23/21 and I have not received my cover. I have notified them multiple times and they kept extending the delivery date. They will not return my money. I have contacted the BBB and am going to lodge a complaint to Clearwater chamber of commerce and their attorney general's office. They do not even deserve the level one star but they do not offer any level lower than that

Bait and switch stay clear away I saw a scam coming after I ordered called attorney general in florida they said these people are under investigation and to file a dispute with my credit card company they found in my favor and issued a charge back now these thieves are trying to get their 150 dollar cancel fee from me wait in h*** for that stay away from these jerks

Had to put 1 star, because negative 5 stars is not an option. Love this company! Every month I send an email inquiring as to my order status (ordered 1/11/21). And...in every reply I get another sob story about production delays, promises for shipment NEXT month, and offers to pay more to have it expedited. DO NOT USE this company or fall for their beautiful website and pricing. You probably will never see a cover or your $.

###Update. I just filed an official complaint with the Florida Attorney General's Office. Going to do another formal complaint this evening with the Clearwater Police. And for added exposure to this pathetic scam....going to send copies of all my emails, complaints, and their shady responses to the Clearwater Mayor's office. And why stop shining lights on this snake company....tomorrow I will reach out to local media outlets and let them know about the company in Clearwater giving their city a bad name. Fellow victims....feel free to follow my lead!

This company needs a class action lawsuit and hopefully the Better Business Bureau can initiate it with so many people scammed by this company. I will personally sue them if there is no class action suit filed by anyone else. My experience is identical to everyone else’s written on the site.

Everyone that has been screwed by the deceptive business practices of ASC needs to file complaints with Florida’s AG and the BBB. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against them.

If I could give them a zero, I would. In February 2021, I ordered a spa cover that was supposed to take 6-8 weeks. I checked status about 8 weeks later and was told the lead time was actually about 26 weeks. Yes, 26 weeks, as in HALF A YEAR. Of course, I canceled the order. They then tried to charge me a $150 cancellation charge, which I am still disputing through my credit card company. Based on the other reviews on this site, I think their business model is actually to make $150 for doing absolutely nothing from enough customers. Nice SCAM business model.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering a hot tub cover from this company. I had the exact same experience. The take payment in full up front, I call after 8 weeks to inquire about a shipping date, they tell me it won't be shipping for another 3 months. I cancel the order and they refund my purchase minus $150 service charge. This is either a scam or just an extremely poorly run business.
