Horrible Experience
Incorrect installation. They refuse to fix their mistakes. Pawn everything off on their supplier. I have sent pictures and videos of issues with the installation and they do nothing. Meanwhile I’m having to use a forklift to hold my carport down because the wind is lifting it several inches off of the ground. 2 weeks of waiting with zero results/schedule to fix the carport

I am a bit puzzled by your feedback, as the last time we spoke, there was a game plan in place for the manufacturer to come out and inspect your structure. Additionally, they were planning to bring additional anchors with them to potentially install if needed.
Once a date was set for this return appointment, the builder was to contact you directly to schedule this.
Did something change after we last spoke? Unfortunately it will take time to coordinate the crew's return, but they are very much working on this for you as quickly as possible.

Things you should know before selecting Alan's
Here is some things you should know before contracting with Alan's.
Pros: Competitively priced, and they are quick to reply to questions and concerns (so far anyway).
Cons: First you should know that Alan's is an intermediary. They do NOT build the building. Carolina Carports builds the building. Their website says "Fast free delivery and installation"....my foundation has been finished and ready for 4 months, and I still do not have my building, nor has it been scheduled yet. When I talked to the scheduling department yesterday (3/25/26) They estimated early May.....nearly 6 MONTHS....if it actually gets completed by then....Other issues include when I paid for their engineer to modify the foundation to a stem wall foundation, after the foundation was completed they told me that we built it wrong and it needed to be larger, or I would have to have a smaller building. The foundation was built exactly to the engineers drawings, and we argued about it for weeks until the engineering company cleared it up, but it was quite a hassle.
Bottom line, do not be in a hurry if you order a building from them. Maybe go direct to Carolina Carports and skip the "middle man"...I will update this after the building is finally completed......

The experience has been outstanding!

It's far too early for a survey at this point, Staff has been very responsive to request made. I wasn't aware, or didn't see that it would be 6-8 weeks out from receiving pictures, thus could be 12-14+ weeks out rather then 6-8 when I entered my zip and from submitting the deposit. That is disappointing to know
