I ordered from Amazon UK 2 books on October 6, 2025 and delivery due on April 21, 2026, obviously paid when ordered. On April 20, 2026 I receive a note that the order has been cancelled and the same day they returned the payment (one of the books is still offered by Amazon UK, with delivery expected between July and October). They should have asked if I was still intersted in receiving the book still offered at a later date, but they did not.
In the end, as it is not the first time it happens, it appears that either Amazon UK like getting payments and returning it after some months or they are not professional.

I am absolutely livid. What exactly am I paying a monthly Prime subscription for? Is it the "privilege" of being lied to?
​I ordered my items specifically because they were labeled "Prime: Get it Tomorrow." Well, "tomorrow" came and went seven days ago. It has now been a full week, and my porch is still empty.
​I’ve spent hours on the phone with customer service, and it’s like talking to a brick wall. They literally have no idea where my package is. One person told me it was "out for delivery" three days ago, the next person said it hasn't even left the warehouse, and the last guy basically shrugged through the phone.
​Bottom line: They took my money instantly, but they can't seem to find a box in a warehouse to save their lives.
​If you're thinking about paying for Prime for the "fast shipping," do yourself a favor and just drive to the store. You’ll actually get what you paid for, and you won't have to deal with a company that loses track of its own inventory for a week straight.

On 16th March 2026 I purchased this watch
(Casio S650D Watch)
I surprised when amazon refused to publish my review of this watch because I said ( it is not green as shown on website images) I even attached several own pictures of the watch as a proof. I contacted CS but still rejected to publish my review. SHAME ON YOU AMAON if you know what shame means

Dreadful Customer Service

Until now always excellent.
I ordered Skechers trainers size 5.5.
I was sent size 4, I returned them & reordered and again was sent size 4. . 3rd time lucky I Ithought but no ….was sent size 4 again!
It’s impossible to speak to a person.

Customer service is appalling.

I have sent letter to MD & emailed but heard nothing. Very unhappy.

I have pucrhased an item from amazon and it is very dmaged and stained and no way to tell why you wan refund your item over amazon . Amazon will leave you alone if you buy anything from them
I have added pictures andvideoa and selelr is accepting me discounst for a cracked item and they expect me to use it
please work with seller who carss customers . after i ll sort this issue , i ll close my amazon account as well , you have lost a customer but you can work this seller who deserves you

Amazon has allowed one of their sellers to make 10 fraudulent orders totaling £750 on my account overnight . Trying to talk to someone is nearly impossible and when I did actually speak to someone I was told it would take 24 hours to look into . When I questioned the time frame on fraudulent activity ( 10 orders one after another ) they hung up on me . I have had to cancel my credit card and the bank is horrified that Amazon has not contacted me back or sorted the situation.

To all British Companies take a leaf out of Amazon Customer Service Book.



To all British Companies that have a Customer Service phone operation. Take a good look at Amazon Customer Service it’s 100% better than anything you are doing.
Sainsbury’s, B& Q, Wickes, J Lewis , M & S some who I have contacted but many others, you are useless compared with Amazon. The English is generally perfect no problems understanding them or them us and the problem has always been sorted out quickly.

the customer service is absoulty terrible they are all indian based they do not help in anyway they send everything to an investigations team to sort the issue with no time frame i asked for his manager and got told i would be put in a long cue as he didnt have a time frame when the manager would come to the call i did give a screen shot as proof and he wasnt interested in what i had to say the indian woman on live chat discconected me i have been on the call for 59 minuets so far holding for his manager he has put me on a silent hold

Amazon Customer Service? There isn't any!

I tried to complain about their despatch teams continually putting the yellow QR code label right over the address lable and obscuring the addressee. There are three of us living in my house - my wife, my son and me and knowing WHO a package is intended for is IMPORTANT - particularly around birthdays and at Christmas! I would love to bring this issue to the attention of Amazon but their 'Chatbot' can only handle a small set of pre-programmed questions. Anything just slightly out of the ordinary and one can spend hours going round and round in circles trying to get it to understand. Very "Artificial" and with not much "Intelligence" I'm afraid. I miss being able to speak to humans....

AVOID

Amazon advertise a set of Sirui lenses for sale at £2,639.00 on their site. I purchased a set. They never arrived having been stopped at UK Customs for non payment of duty.

I tried to get a refund but without the goods held at Customs I could not do so.

I contacted Amazon customer services who initially stated a full refund would be received and not to contact the seller.

I still received no refund.

I called customer services a third time to be told that I would have to go to Royal Mail depot and pay the customs duty and that it was not Amazon’s issue as the sale was via a 3rd party seller. They refused to refund.

Amazon are selling items in breach of The Consumer Protection Act and do not refund as stated in their policies.

Their customer services department tell blatant lies.

On 16th March evening (Last day of the spring deal), I was searching the Amazon app and realize there is a lucky wheel and I have awarded a £150 coupon when spending for more than £300. But I checked there is not any coupon in my account. So, I called Amazon CS for help with screen capture about the lucky wheel and explain the case.

On 18th March, I have got the reply from the Amazon CS mentioned £150 will be debit to my credit card account for compensation. But up to now, nothing happened so I called the Amazon CS again and someone told me the compensation is not going to happen and can only offer £20 coupon to me. This is completely not acceptable and I have black and white from the Amazon CS with a reasonable compensation but the company seems totally ignore the committment.

Useless illiterate delivery drivers!

Gave one star because I couldn't give no stars!! Yet again Amazon delivery drivers have delivered my item to the wrong address despite CLEAR address instructions and added location help!! This is the fourth time on the trot and yet again I'm having to search my neighborhood to try locate it. Bloody useless, do yourself a favour and bypass Amazon and deal directly with the sellers who use trusted couriers.

I dont know why i keep using this bag of S**T company.
The 1 star is way to much for them.
I guess its the idea of same day or next day delivery.
But if they cannot honour what they say then what is the point of using them.
There are so many companies out there.
i think i am going to cancel my membership to them.
Its there loss as i spend a couple of grand a year with them. not any more.

Also i have a feeling they must have a afiliation with certian companies . I wrote a review of a company Telling the truth but amazon have not posted it. No explanation when asking them in chat.
So advice dont believe all there reviews they will leave the happy clients no problem but not the upset clients.
They also refunded my money, but that was not the point the point was i wanted others to be aware, Not the case so dont believe the ratings on there.

Delivering your items to any place they wish.

If a person keeps delivering your items to the Wong address. You are expected to wait for three days. If you are lucky and your neighbour makes your delivery.
You are not allowed to state this in your review.
Complaints process is blocked and uses Artificial Intelligence. "Robot says NO" To all those delivery divers this says do as you please because there is no possible way any person can complain about wrong deliveries or other. Amazon has made sure you cannot complain. You are silenced. Cannot put into your review delivered to your door by kind neighbors.
This lack of driver monitoring means they can steal anything or loose it and state "Handed to resident on the delivery report. The delivery driver will never be punished. I gave two stars because refund has always been allowed but would rather have my deliveries made to my home address.

Alexa spot, worked fine to start with but there's only so many times you can reset this piece of junk,clock mode issue amazon know about it they have had it for months but nothing has been done, maybe there getting to big for there boots and needs people to stop purchasing from them they might get a customer services team that actually works.

today a very good example of parcel tampering...this parcel just delivered i pointed out to the guy as to why it's torn..he couldn't speak English he just mumbled what sounded like MHUHUHU..iv taken a photograph but i can't post it..im not blaming the delivery guy as parcel spends time passing through warehouse system but im assuming certain people who work in these delivery warehouses search parcels for desirable contents

Amazon quickly solved my issue

I posted a problem about an Amazon return they claimed I returned an empty box and then took the money from my card.
I complained directly via email only yesterday.
Today they have refunded the whole amount with an apology and a gift card. They listened and responded quickly.
Thank you Amazon and the team. Particularly Bryan.

Very disappointing experience with Amazon UK.
I ordered a Ryanair carry-on bag but the parcel never arrived. The delivery photo shows a different house number and I went to check with the neighbour mentioned by the driver, but they confirmed they never received any parcel.
I spent more than two hours speaking with customer support and was transferred between 14 different agents. Today I also spoke with three more agents and the case is still not resolved.
One agent promised me a £15 Amazon gift card as compensation. However, when I placed a new order, the £15 was not deducted and £25 was taken from my card instead, which caused even more confusion.
This situation is extremely frustrating. Customers should not have to spend hours in chat with so many different agents just to resolve a delivery problem and a payment issue.
I expect Amazon UK to properly investigate the missing parcel and correct the payment issue that was caused after the promised £15 gift card.
