Liar

Driver made no attempt to deliver my package the area is covered by CCTV no Amazon drive can be found on any of the cameras The driver is a liar and should return to deliver my package. Your complaint procedure is non compliant and does allow you make a complaint and probably the will be no response.

Do NOT waste your time trying to…

Do NOT waste your time trying to register....no info upfront regarding collection depots, areas pay etc, jump through hoops to register, two weeks later get passed registration then only option to collect deposit being 3 hours away... absolutely useless company, exploiting people who need work, I am unable to cancel my registration as the app won't go past collection depots screen... Amazon you should be ashamed!!

the worst support team is the flex support
i have a problem that i can't connect to my account and somehow when i connect it tells me like i am a new driver and need to register my car etc it doesn't connect to my account, support team tells me to wait because they don't accept new drivers, told them 20 times i am not a new driver, they send random email afterwards with random stuff that we didnt discuss, i tell them i cant connect to my account they send me back an random email like these : can you tell us with what block are you experiencing issues and random emails like this, STAY AWAY

No Loyalty and Slave Labour

Had a crash on one block and was called by one of thier agents pretending to care - but it soon became clear they were only interested in getting their packages back. My car was still in the garage! After being told the accident wouldn't affect my rating, I was booted off the App 3 days later! Won't miss it, when you calculate petrol, car repairs, insurance and your time, its less than minimum wage

Customer services remove wrong parcels

Customer services remove wrong parcels, you try to explain which ones are missing in the depot but always make out they don't understand you rude and don't understand English 😡 then send drivers email warning to remove them from the app you keep forgetting there are other apps out there what are alot better then amazon flex.

They only want to use you for peak time Christmas

Guys they use us for Christmas because they need us the most at that time. After that they limit the blocks and start to decrease the offers, also they reduce your blocks to 0 because they don't appeal nor they make changes to the delivery history, because its not drivers fault if the area is harmful or the parcels are too many, they will block your account after a while, and most of the time they don't respond to any of the issues. Plus they don't want to talk about any issues on phone call other that on boarding delivery issues. I used to make 300£ a week now its less than 100£. Currently my account is blocked, because they don't care about tooo many parcels they are giving and damaging. Nor they care about the areas we get fined from. Also they are always unable to accept their mistake, so its our mistake if there's a technical error, its our mistake if the parcels are missing from store, as amazon can't change nor help

Shocking company

Shocking company, they send you to deliveries in restricted car zones. If you don’t make the delivery the penalise your account, if you do make the delivery then you have to pay a PCN which is more than the actual shift. Stay away from these guys, customer service is appalling aswell

I actually didn’t mind working for Amazon flex untill today I’ve been doing it as a second job for about a year now and to start with every day they asked to see my driving licence, I took a 4 month break and when I returned 2 months ago I have not been asked once so I just assumed they was not asking anymore so took my licence out of my car I turn up today and they ask for it I explain what I assumed they said it was the rules so I said ok you need to make sure your staff are being consistent with implementing these rules as you are sending mixed messages I was told that 100 percent of the time drivers are asked for their licence and that I am a lier the manager at the barking depot actually said he thinks that I am lying I mean why would i lie I am now going to get video evidence and prove that I am not a lier like he witnesses every driver being asked for their driving licence there was even another driver there picking up there parcels and o asked her do you get asked for your Drivers license she confirmed no but I did today the manager just walked away no apology no nothing for calling me a lier very unprofessional and un helpful in my opinion

Support unsupportive

Lately the customer support have stopped actually supporting you.
They tell you that you fail to return “undelivered” packages to the depo even though you did not have any undelivered packages. When you contact support to notify them of their mistake they email you back basically calling you a thief and putting a bad mark against your status

Account being suspended

Account being suspended, no support whatsoever.

I have been working as amazon flex driver for months and that's my only income.

My account have been suspended since 20JAN2024 asking me to submit the proof of right to work.
I have uploaded it and I have been told to wait 3 working days for a result. I have receive no update after that.
I called the support 3 to 4 times, they asked me to wait 2-3 days everytime we spoke. There is no update as expected.
I have also sent emails to them, but there is no update either.

Now I have no source of income due to this matter and this stressed me a lot..

I hope there can be someone to contact me and fix the account for me please..

I wouldn't bother to work for this company, very low pay rates, less than 7£/hr after expenses, these should disappear from the market, they take local jobs and businesses out, nobody should work for them! If you do a block of 2 hours you end doing 4 hours around, thats a part-time, paid 31£ to do delivery in center of London, from there 4 hr of running engine, calculate petrol, insurance, time, the authorities don't bother to do any checks, so people are enslaved without options, if you would all stop working for them we could create a better world, avoid also shopping from their marketplace. This is against any human rights, app working bad with location problems, you must wait or make hundreds of meters to other location so you can close the job, heavy packages, I broke my back and also my car wheel bearings with their water!

It’s ok but read my good & bad points

Been doing Amazon flex for about 18 months. I’ve now decided to stop. Here are in my opinion the good and bad points:

Good points:
Weekly pay.
Pick your own shifts.
Cancel them with 45 mins notice.
Goody bags during winter.
You do get rounds which can take you half an hour.
Depot staff are nice.

Bad points:
Completely destroys your car.
On occasions you do over 100 miles in one round.
Fuel costs are crazy so hard to earn a decent amount.
Having to have their mandatory insurance ontop of your own which is about £15pm.
Lots of thieving customers which you get the blame for.
Rough areas.
Dogs attacks.
Fighting for rounds with lots of immigrants.
Maximum hours of 24 per week so you can’t really earn much over £300pw.
Obviously paying tax which really doesn’t make it worth it if you already have a job and do this on the side. Tax and petrol will leave you with a few quid an hour.

All in all it’s ok hense the 3 star review but I do think the cons weigh out the pros so sadly it’s not for me anymore.

Slave labour

Slave labour after fuel costs and maintaining your car.
Hardly any local drops because their stupid elastic vans that break down, do those easy routs.
Issue blocks passed pickup time and then then penalised you when you realise you can't get to the pickup point in time.
They won't listen to you.
They don't care.
Most of the staff are rude and like robots.
They send you to the back of beyond down roads that you need a 4x4 and can damage your car.
I could go on but this is should be a enough of a warning ⚠

The system they use is absolutely…

The system they use is absolutely useless! You will never be able to make a living from this app because you have no idea when you are going work! So today I wake up at 4am and they have no offers all day till the afternoon.

So I have to wait for 7-8 hours how can you make a living like this the answer is you cannot !

Zero stars if it was possible. Shambles of a company with the same stupid response to emails. They don’t even read the emails just reply with the same thing all the time. Thats me waiting over 3months to join but if its hassle getting a human proper response from them then who knows what it’ll be like working for them! Nightmare. I’ll avoid.

I had multiple issues with flex and the most recent one was this

I was verbally abused and assaulted by a station staff manager. Which was recorded and been handed to the police.

This was over the fact I refused to take a parcel due to it having invalidated my insurance, but the staff member was very rude then assaulted me.

Customers should know the reason why parcels are showing as attempted because they expect us to deliver so many parcels within the time slot they given us and most of us won’t work pass that time slot as the rate of pay is crap £47.50 for 4 hours of work, if you take into count insurance, fuel, vehicle up keep cost the driver is working for about £4.00 per hour if that.

I have now deleted the app and refused to do any more deliveries for flex.

Probably the worst customer support…

Probably the worst customer support team you will even see. They are incompetent, they don't speak english, you have to repeat the same thing 10 times and they still don't understand you. The customer service team is HORRIBLE!!! Stay away, its a waste of time
