they'll hold you accountable for missing parcels that theirs lying a* customers claimed there haven't received!

New drivers! don't ignore does red flags and warning Amazon will use you for 60/90 days then they'll tricked you email you saying that you are one their favourite delivery driver and they gonna add you to their priority drivers list! for further jobs but you can't use the Amazon flex app anymore, they'll tell you that you gonna be received direct messages calls emails to go to work from now on. I worked for Amazon flex UK

I worked as an Amazon flex UK driver for 6 months working from their Avonmouth and Bristol warehouses plus morrisons stores. The work delivering parcels and meeting customers is great but the set-up is just awful. I really recommend you do not get involved in this work. The support is useless, just robots reading from scripts and no way to escalate a problem. OK they will offer you £82 for a 4hr delivery block. But you will waste hours and hours even days and days fighting with support. Parcels go missing, your fault no exceptions. Customers say they didn't receive parcel, your fault no exceptions. Turn up at warehouse, app freezes, 1 minute late to scan parcels, your fault no exceptions, finish delivering, parcels to return but no parcels left over, your fault no exceptions. Once you spend hours and hours on the phone talking to robots reading through their scripts per problem, you'll spend any profit you made on this. You'll also trash your car as they send you on routes that they don't want their vans to go. Their navigation system will take you to the middle of nowhere up forest tracks, your fault no exceptions. I eventually asked a telephone robot how much time I should waste trying to get answers from flex support and their response was, I suggest you find something else to do and stop wasting your time with amazon flex. So I did.... and that was the best bit about the whole debacle. I spent £650 fixing all the damaged parts on my car and went to work for another courier which is far far better. Amazon flex should be banned in the UK, how they get away with it, I will never know.....

I worked for Amazon Flex for about a…

I worked for Amazon Flex for about a year and as a lot of people have said on here, it is way less than minimum wage. The miles you do and cost of fuel and ware and tear on your car and commercial insurance it can work out way less than minimum wage. The people on the helpline have a bad attitude. One occasion for a Morrisons delivery one of the bags was damaged and the contents inside were ruined. A staff member politely asked for me to leave the rest of bags for that recipient. I called up Amazon to explain about the bag I gave them the number of the bag the lady on the phone said I should deliver the rest. But the staff at Morrisons asked to wait and have another driver to take them so they could repack the contents. As I was on the phone to them she was saying I had to deliver the rest and was saying I can’t but she then said for some reason I was being recorded like as if I was saying something wrong. I kept explaining the problem that they have the bags and she still said I have to deliver them but they were not available as they needed to resort it because of all the damage. She then said NO! you need to deliver them. Then hung up. Honestly what is going on with Amazon Flex is illegal they are taking advantage of self employed workers at their expense as really it cost you the driver and no money is really made.

An Utterly Disgraceful Experience After Years of Dedication

I have worked with Amazon Flex for nearly two years and have delivered close to 10,000 parcels. Throughout that time, I have always conducted myself professionally, arriving on time and meeting Amazon’s high standards. Yet, when I encountered a technical glitch that was entirely Amazon Flex’s fault, I was met with dismissiveness, contradictory responses, and a complete lack of accountability.

For over a week, I’ve been battling an app issue that associates my account with an outdated delivery address. Despite providing ample evidence, following every instruction from Driver Support (including reinstalling the app multiple times), and repeatedly explaining the situation, the issue remains unresolved.

The most appalling part of this experience has been Amazon Flex’s treatment of me as a driver. I’ve received dismissive, copy-paste email responses that completely ignore the seriousness of my issue. Driver Support has outright lied, claiming they can only respond via email, even though I’ve received callbacks from Executive Driver Relations in the past when requested. This shows not only a lack of care but also a willingness to mislead drivers who are trying to resolve critical issues.

Adding insult to injury, I’ve lost earnings during one of the busiest weekends of the year—Black Friday—due to Amazon Flex’s failure. Despite my longstanding dedication and exemplary track record, I’ve been left feeling disrespected, unsupported, and completely undervalued.

This experience sends a clear message: Amazon Flex does not care about its drivers, no matter how much they’ve contributed to the platform. After nearly two years of dedicated work, this experience has shaken my trust in Amazon Flex so deeply that I’m now seriously considering leaving the platform entirely.

For anyone considering signing up for Amazon Flex, think twice. When things go wrong (as they inevitably will with the app), you’ll find yourself in a nightmare of unresponsive support and emotionally draining escalation processes. Amazon Flex is quick to penalise drivers for any perceived mistake but excruciatingly slow to address their own shortcomings.

After everything I’ve given to this platform, this is the thanks I get—a stark reminder that loyalty and hard work mean nothing to Amazon Flex.

Honest review here.

Honest review here.
You can make about £100 a day working about 6 hours a day, depending on what blocks you grab. That's pretty impressive if you ask me.
My vehicle is a 1.2 so £20 petrol will last me about 3 days. That's honestly not that bad. For those of you that work in London know it cost about £12 a day to travel to work on public transport.
If you have the opportunity I would say avoid the supermarket blocks and get your blocks directly from amazon logistics. Supermarket blocks are long because customers order so much groceries as well as huge bottle of 6 pack water bottles which takes time when delivery it to a customer. The cheek for customers to ask you to take all that water to the top floor is a joke. And sometimes the customers are not even at home so you have to carry all that shopping back to the car and to the supermarket at the end of your shift.
My only issue right now is the bots that grab the blocks. Completely out of order it's hard to grab a good block with good pay because a bots already snatched it. Amazon need to investigate this.
Overall I think they pay pretty good but again this all depends on where you work and what blocks you grab.
I'm pretty shocked with the reviews at the bottom. You lot must be working in villages or places extremely hard to drive in. May God bless you lot and make things easier for you.

Amazon makes new level of slavery

Mostly terrible job ever I had. It's unreliable, stressful, risky, low pay job. You have to spend hours and hours on Amazon Flex app to fight for grabbing a delivery block without getting any paying. Even after hours wasting on the app, you probably still fails to grab a block as Amazon deliberately over hires so many drivers to fight the limited delivery blocks so that Amazon can manipulate those poor drivers and let them compete each others. Just terrible. Even occasionally you feel you're lucky and you managed to grab a delivery blocks. But it's terrible low pay because a 4hours block with about £64 but you normally need 5 to 6hours to complete all parcels delivery. and you could be sent 20 miles away and 30 or 40mins for driving to there. Considering the fuel and insurance and other cost, you got about £35 for about 5hours work. It's just beyond any exploits in modern days. Amazon flex should be banned as it's way below the legal minimum salary in the UK.

Amazon flex

My experience in delivering dontuts at Delivering Supreme.I had trening witch two people the first one almost cried when the traffic was cloused in the City center I walked with him for half an hour around the center without any sense, the other one almost ran over a cyclist, which you can learn from such people, The cars leave scratched dented and dirty but they are Amazon's showcase.

Lures you in under false pretences

The app takes at least 2 weeks to sign onto with all the checks you have to (quite rightly) do however once you are on the nearest area is at least half hour away and there are no delivery slots which is ridiculous and extremely frustrating when it lures you in saying drivers are needed in your area I don’t think nearly 20 miles away for pickup is local and with the extra time used for travel it takes you below minimum wage

Very bad Amazon Flex

Honestly, The Amazon team doesn’t support or care about their new drivers. I’m trying for more than a week to explain the problem I’m facing through the app, no one took any kind of action to help me out.

The insurance verification step says that it’s in progress, and it doesn’t have any option to upload a new one. When I send the insurance via email, Amazon said that they don’t accept any documents via email, only through app.

I felt really frustrated and annoyed by the response. Still the problem is not sorted!!!!!

Delivery quality problem

Delivery quality problem
I arrived the station and scan all the parcels, but 9 parcels are damaged, the boxes and bags all wet and some of them even glass broken with something leaking out. The Amazon flex staff has scan the parcel and bring back to the station immediately. Thats why the parcel be not been delivered.

However, the station staff said they will sort this problem, I don't understand why this delivery quality problem is shown into my account and it also affects my standing droped.

I just received a email, it saids After further review, your original decision has not changed. This instance will be noted on my account.

I donot understand why? Firstly, when i collect parcels, they wet and damaged already. I even didnot put in the car in the pick up depot, when i find out the parcel in the boxes has problem,i call the staff in the delivery depot immediately and they take the parcels out and they said those parcels need re-packaging. It not the fact that I don't want delivery or I cannot delivery the package to customers. Not my problem and not my fault. Why this instance happened will still noted on my account and affected my standings??? next time if i find out parcel damaged,do i still collect and delivery to customers?

Exploitation next level,

Exploitation next level,
You get 4 hour block 48 parcel for £70, usually take 5 to 6 hours to complete, send you to another village 30 miles away, total driving 70 to 80 miles in country lane, if you minus car cost around £ 20, you make £50 for 5 hours, pay £20 tax on that, end up with £30 for 5 hours, absolutely rubbish, company like this shouldn't exist.

Amazon = Slavery + Harassment+ Abuse

Do you want to be a slave doing 350 parcels, 190 stops a day running like a mad man just so you finish within 9 hours you're paid for?

- will you not have a problem being abused by Amazon every single day knowing you're getting less than minimum national wage ?

- Are you gonna be happy to take the blame and responsibility for anything and everything that goes wrong round the job?

- Will you be alright being threatened of being fired without a reason, every now and then ?

You'll be happy with all the above? then apply for the job
