Amazon penalises you when it's their fault
There are countless things that amazon does to make you suffer. One of the biggest concerns is they will give you packages that are guaranteed to be late as they should have been on a previous route. It is frustrating knowing there is nothing you can do about it. You then receive an email saying your driving rating will now be affected negatively despite it being out of your control. The next thing is that you must spend copious amounts of time trying to get blocks by tapping away to get blocks and this time is unpaid. It's an absolute disgrace. They recruit way more people than they need for an area and leave you with little work. You work diligently to raise your driver rating only to be abused. The way they treat people is horrendous, it's so sad.
Double standards
Double standards, unfair treatment and exploitation of time and distance.
This giant doesn't care how much you try for them - the only thing that matters is customer reviews, whether they are fair or not.
People are forced to pee in bottles to save time.
Deliveries that are 100% done are declared undelivered because of customers, but the responsibility is always placed on you.
Couriers are not provided with high-quality and cost-effective equipment.
Complaints about working conditions are ignored.
Absolute ignorance and permissiveness, probably due to influence.
No offers means no work!
Hardly any offers available to seasoned drivers. Some days there are no offers at all. Constantly having to sit in the app and refresh to no avail. Delivering itself is fine but if I only get 1-2 shifts a week then it’s pointless. The customer service is awful and they never listen to your side of the story. We get punished for things that are out of our control, like a customer complaining they didn’t get their delivery when they weren’t even at home and there’s no safe place to leave it. It’s my standing that gets tarnished. Amazon flex could be incredible but they need to reevaluate how many offers they give and how they’re given.
They are useless and tell so much lies…
They are useless and tell so much lies never met a delivery service that has its support team and email team based in India who can not speak or read English and suspend your account all based on lies there senior managers or MD don’t respond to you when you ask to speak to them and hide behind there computers spreading filthy lies and with no evidence what so ever

Its amazing what you drivers achieve in a day, real shame that you are not appreciated as much as you should be. our Amazon driver is so nice and polite even though my Cat chases him he always has a moment to say Hi, I didn't realise they were under so much pressure.
⸻ Worst GPS Experience
⸻ Worst GPS Experience – Frustrating and Inefficient
Amazon Flex gives me one of the worst GPS experiences I’ve ever had. The app constantly sends me in circles and rarely shows the correct or most efficient route to the customer. I waste time and fuel making unnecessary rounds, especially in large buildings or complexes. I’ve spent over five minutes just trying to figure out how to reach a single customer because the directions make no sense. Amazon runs a massive operation but clearly refuses to invest in fixing this. They ignore the driver experience completely. This app needs serious improvement.
I could not write less than one star
I could not write less than one star, otherwise i would have done.
So ridiculous company never listen to you. Always give you load of work and send you100 miles away where 3 hr block get ended up with 5 hrs.
If you complaint or refuse to. Take they will threaten you to disable you app by lowering your standing details.
Never follow health and safety rules.
They should look after flex driver and treat them as a second class.
Poorest cx service department
Poorest cx service department.
There’s a reason why Amazon has 1 star overall.
Those people do not deserve having that job. Leave it for people with work ethics.
Go fry some fries and Mc’donalds.
Hello good people from UK and all…
Hello good people from UK and all around the world, i was a happy customer from Amazon before i know the truth about this company. Fist of all we as customers are sometimes mad on drivers that they are moving to fast from our door but after i speak with one of the driver from Amazon Flex in London i understand that this company is breaking all rules against their employees!!! Drivers got 300+ parcels and more , then 200/250 addresses to delivery every single day day, and Amazon is combining adress to make 160 stops but one stop have multiple addresses so anything changes that , they force drivers to work 9 hours in continuous without any break because with such workflow and numbers you don’t have time to stop otherwise you will not have enough time to deliver all parcels and you will finish at 9/10pm wich is a night shift already however Amazon and small companies that are making franchise on it are paying only £115 maximum after tax to this people and some of them are even charging rent of the van to do the job for same company wich is ridiculous!!! So i saw many times Amazon drivers that are running with parcels in they hands and i didn’t even think about such big numbers they got to do same day and that this is exactly why they a rushing to make all customers happy that they received they parcels! This company is using them like robots Wich is not good at all and pushing them to break rules giving them to much work for an 8 hours shift daily.
So when a driver is running quickly from one house to another is not that they don’t care is that they forced by company that gives them 250 addresses to delivery and even don’t care how they are doing on the road as they never answer on the phone if one driver or another one need help , plus they force them to go 2/3 times at the same adress if some irresponsible customer was not at homme knowing that he must recieved a parcel that day and even the approximate time as-well ! I think we must sign a petition for this employees that we are not happy about putting someone lives in danger to work without breaks because they are forced to do so by big numbers and to use people like they are robots. So next time when we are mad that drivers didn’t wait to see us think about how much he have to do and that he is forced by this big empire AMAZON to rush otherwise he is late and even getting penalties marks for late !!!! This company need to take more drivers at work and to stop using people to do workflow for more persons.
No blocks ever available
No blocks ever available - foreign workers subbing all the work out to people with no right to work.
Extremely disappointed and frustrated, Amazon Flex treats drivers like we don’t matter.
I’ve been locked out of the app for 7 days because of an insurance verification issue. The app shows “pending” and doesn’t even let me upload my insurance document. I followed all instructions, sent my certificate via email as support told me, and contacted them multiple times. All I receive are copy-paste replies and no real solution. Meanwhile, I can’t work and my bills are stacking up. Amazon Flex clearly doesn’t care.
On top of that, the routes have become significantly worse compared to last year. I used to complete a 4-hour route for £88. Now we get the same (or more demanding) routes for only £66. The number of parcels has increased, the mileage is higher, and the workload is heavier - all while the pay is going down.
We also pay for fuel, insurance, and car repairs ourselves. And they send us on terrible roads that damage our vehicles. Amazon Flex has become unfair, unreliable, and exploitative. Drivers are treated like we’re disposable.
Stay clear! Not worth the stress
Would be a zero star if that was an option. It is 100% clear people are using bots zero blocks available. They randomly restrict your app for “insurance issues” despite you having valid commercial insurance in place then refuse to pay for scheduled blocks you loose and you get nothing but automated responses from their ridiculous AI when you email and don’t even get me started on their “driver support”
Only good at christmas
Tldr; great during holiday season, crap any other time
While I started in the Christmas period working for amazon flex was great. I could easily pickup 2-3 blocks a day.
Now that we are in normal time, I've found the only blocks I can ever find are for 7/7.30am starts, and they aren't putting these up until around 1:30am. When you consider on average it takes around 30minutes to then fall asleep, the station is a 30 minute drive away the driver then only gets 3 maybe 3 and a half hours sleep and is expected to then go drive and deliver for 4 hours. When I contacted Amazon about this they didn't care and their response was simply "we add blocks throughout the day, you just need to refresh your app regularly. There are also morrisons and co-op deliveries available."
Amazon fresh/morrisons deliveries just aren't worth it with them commonly being around £28 for a 90minute block, which sounds great, until you account for the fact that you could be doing 50 miles for those deliveries which then takes the full earnings as mileage cost. Add your insurance and that block costs you money. That eliminates half of amazon's response.
The other half about sitting around refreshing the app, you would need to sit on your app from around 8am till 4pm just hitting refresh every 5 minutes and still not see anything, as opposed to knowing you can get a block at 1:30am. Their response also shows they do not care about the people driving for them at all.
Wish I'd knew all this before joining but will be leaving ASAP.
Feedback AS Amazon Flex Driver
Feedback on Amazon Flex – Urgent Issues That Need Attention
As a dedicated Amazon Flex driver, I want to highlight some major concerns that make our job increasingly difficult. These issues affect not only our earnings but also our overall experience delivering for Amazon.
Key Issues:
Delivery Blocks Are Rarely Available
Securing a delivery block has become nearly impossible. The availability is so limited that many drivers struggle to find work. A more transparent and fair system for block distribution would be highly appreciated.
Unfair Block Payment & Low Pay Rates
The amount offered for blocks is far too low compared to the effort required. For example, I recently received a Fresh block for £25, requiring me to cover 30 miles with 35 parcels and 8 stops. The pay does not justify the time, fuel, and effort. It seems Amazon intentionally undervalues blocks, disregarding the driver's costs.
Apartment Deliveries Are a Nightmare
Delivering to apartment complexes is extremely time-consuming. There is no parking, customers often don’t answer calls, and many deliveries are to council flats, where fraudulent claims of undelivered parcels are common. The blame always falls on the driver, with no proper investigation. Completing 8 stops with 45 parcels in 1.5–2 hours for £34 is unreasonable.
Heavy Fresh Deliveries Are Unmanageable
Some Fresh orders include multiple heavy items, like 15 packs of 8 large 2-liter water bottles. Expecting a driver to deliver this to a 10th-floor apartment while dealing with parking restrictions is unrealistic.
No Support for Parking Tickets
If drivers receive a parking ticket while delivering, Amazon offers no support. Even after requesting proof of delivery for appeals, Amazon refuses to provide documentation, leaving drivers to deal with fines alone.
Unfair Blame for Missing Parcels
When customers claim they didn't receive their parcels, Amazon immediately blames the driver without any investigation. There is no opportunity for drivers to explain or defend themselves.
Lack of Essential Equipment & Support
Unlike other delivery services, Amazon does not provide trolleys, jackets, or any support for parking. This adds extra burden and cost to drivers.
Amazon needs to start valuing its drivers. We are the backbone of the delivery system, yet we receive low pay, no support, and constant blame. Immediate changes are necessary!
Ok for pocket money only
Ok for pocket money only. When you take into account the time spent refreshing the App in the hope of finding suitable work, fuel costs and frustrating App Sat Nav. You're probably only just earning £10/hour.
A lot of deliveries scheduled for after dark (more accidents at night, tiredness and poor lighting) and App Sat Nav does not display speed limits on road you are on (would reduce accidents and speeding points). Therefore health and safety of driver not really an Amazon priority.
Amazon delivery drivers are negligent in their offering.
Amazon delivery drivers have consistently left packages out in the open communal hallway to be stolen, pillaged and mishandled. This communal hallway has no office, concierge or lockers and have left our items be taken by thieves. This has happened on 10 other occasions. Delivery drivers don't deliver or follow instructions. Shameful.
Do Not trust Amazon flex to earn money…
Do Not trust Amazon flex to earn money don’t take out a yearly insurance policy and relying on work from them as the disabled your account suddenly stupid pathetic company to work for can’t trust
Account unfairly suspended for no reason.
After 4 years delivering with them, they sent me an email stating that somehow I bypass the identity verification (selfie) when I have checked in for my blocks. They also stated that I have used warehouse associates or the driver support to check-in without a selfie.
This is a total bullshit because I never used those means to check-in.
When chased the problem with them, they could provide a clear answer why my account was suspended.
Amazon, why bother asking how appreciated we feel if you clearly don't care about genuine issues like this?
The conclusion is clear: They give you the impression of a fair system, but in fact they use people as dispensable objects.
I and my whole family will cancel my subscriptions to their services because I can't associate myself in any way with such a company.
Sooner or later they will go out of business if they continue this way.
